All the girls that work there seam very nice.and was good to my ???? only one thing it was a pretty long wait after we were put in room.maby this wont allways be the case.

After our vet retired and closed without any warning, we were in a bind. I started searching for a new place and was recommend Young's. I am so glad I got that recommendation! They got me right in.Audrey is amazing, Dr. Lamons is wonderful, and one person even came out to talk to us while we got situated in the car, recommending help for your small dog. I will continue going there because it's obvious they love animals and what they do.

the doctors and the staff are always great at Young's they have really helped me with my elderly dog and I appreciate them very much!

I regret giving this rating because all of the staff are good people. Dr. Strickland however is the most abusive doctor that I have met in my life. He literally interrogates the owners. He shows no compassion whatsoever to the pets. If you know what a Narcissist is, beware he is the worst!!! I hope the practice can get rid of him or they will suffer unfortunately.

The vet techs are amazing, but the male veterinarian is horrible, rude, and doesn’t treat the dogs with care, especially the dogs with anxiety. No patience at all. Never let him see your dog

Took my dog to get a pedicure for his nails to get cut..i was concerned about a place under his ear..they said they could do a ear swab so they did ..well it turns out they gave him a steroid shot for his itching without me knowing they had me to see the doc and it was a ear infection so I'm left paying for what money I didn't have except for his pedicure . I ended up leaving the meds there..so I ended up paying for his shot that I didnt know about ..I wasn't there to see a doc so I left mad

I had a terrible experience here. They refused to see or help a homeless, suffering young cat because the homeless couple did not have enough money. I even offered to pay for visit ($60) and because didn't have money for anything else They refused to even look at the SUFFERING, helpless cat. You would think they got I to this career because they love animals but that is CLEARLY not the case!! This was really sad to watch. It's all about the money not easing the suffering of an obviously suffering animal

Be prepared to wait an hour or more, with an appointment, every single visit. Staff have a complete lack of regard or respect for your time. Eventually this gets old. Occasionally can be understood. Every visit is just poor leadership, poor time management, and poor service.

Don't go to this place if you get a voucher because it turns up costing you a lot of money thanks to the animal shelter that sent me there it's not the place it's the people that sent me

Absolutely love this vet!! Everyone was so caring and helpful when I brought my geriatric dog in. They fit me in last minute because she was having complications and then also fit me in the next day last minute to have her euthanized. Their prices are very fair for the great care that they give your animal. I will absolutely be using this office in the future.

Great place, knowledgeable crew and very direct. I never seen my cat so content and calm at a vets office before. She normally gets chaotic and unnerved but not here. Prices are great, and overall service is too notch. I'm definitely considering being a regular customer.

My dog was sick, called my vet I have had for over 25 years, they said they would leave a note with the veterinarian to call me. They said I couldn't come in that day just wait on the call. It never came. I went to the vet the next morning and told them I was sitting out front and nobody called the day before, they turned me away and said they had nothing that day or the next day either. They referred me to a place in Elizabethton, got there, they turned me away. Referred me to 2 places in Johnson City. One was closed the other turned me away. I was driving and looked over from the red light I was at and seen Young's Animal Hospital. I pulled over and called. The receptionist was extremely kind and understanding. She said there was only one veterinarian on duty that day and she was in a surgery and had another one right after it but went to ask her anyway if she could see my dog. She didn't know me at all, I was a total stranger but she told the receptionist to tell me to come back a little later that day and she would work me in. I came back. She seen my dog, prescribed some medication to and today the dog is doing great. Thanks to one woman who shows her dedication to what she does and shows that all animals matter whether you've treated them before or not. She was there when everyone else turned their back. People like her are a rare find in today's selfish world. Thank you Young's Animal Hospital for being there when everyone else turned away. You have went above and beyond. Your dedication to your profession and the animals that you care for is what makes you in a class all your own. Thank You !

Awesome people they took excellent care of biscuit during and after his surgery. Everyone is very polite and caring ❤ Thank you all for everything.

The vets and staff truly care whether or not your pet is emotionally comfortable. They aren't just going through the motions. They seem happy to be there and really want to engage with your pet. And it isn't like my pet is friendly - she's terrified of people, but the staff at Young's treat her with absolute caring and understanding.

If I could give a one star I would. Having to wait 45 minutes for an appointment with two dogs that are very anxious because of people and other animals is ridiculous. Update: Took the dogs to All Tails Vet Veterinarian Johnson City today after the crazy visit we had Saturday and they are absolutely awesome. Very friendly and both of the dogs loved all of the staff! Will definitely change where we are going from now on.

Great place to take your critters! They were the only vet to take my precious Boone in the next day after he got rolled by a car tire. Couldn't of asked for a more pleasant experience, the staff was wonderful and my final bill wasn't too expensive.

Poor experience at this vet office with my dog vomiting and blood in his stool. The Vet was rushed when speaking with me and didn’t answer my questions throughly. They took him out of the exam room to perform the “exam” - so I’m unsure what they actually checked. After $250 my dog left the office feeling worse than when he arrived. No follow up call from the office to see how he was doing. A few weeks out and he’s still exhibiting GI symptoms. Take your money and your fur baby elsewhere.

Very kind and caring staff. They saw my little sweet Sassy for the first time that day. I had called her regular vet office where she had been going for the last 14 + years, they informed me they did not have any openings . I was very pleased with the service I received at Young's . My sweet little Sassy had to be euthanized due to cancer .It was one of the hardest days of my life but the staff was so sweet and caring .They helped me through the difficult process and cared for my sweet Sassy like she was part of their family. I will never forget that and want to thank them for all their help.

Worst vet experience I’ve ever had.

The service is excellent, the clinic is always clean and the front staff is friendly. My dog Harley is in excellent condition and enjoyed his visit.

You should rename this clinic Young’s money pit. I believe the office workers and nurses are good people but this clinic has only money on its mind. Don’t take your animals here unless you want to be talked into paying for things you don’t need or better yet they just do it and charge you at the end. I will definitely be looking for a vet elsewhere.
