Wanda is the best groomer, my dog is very nervous and anxious but not when he's with Wanda. She calms him and takes very good care of him. We've been coming to Cherokee for more than 10 years for all of our medical checkups plus grooming. I trust these people!

Most horrible vet I've ever encountered. They are o er priced and don't help with the issues you bring your pet in for. Only concerned with shots and not issues at hand. Boones Creek is 100% better and staff is nicer and not nearly as expensive.

Angela, Mary, Rachel, and Dr. Simpkins made our visit most pleasant. It's never fun to have a sick pet, but their caring and their affordable prices made it more bearable. They respond to my emails and even offered me a cold bottle of water for my mother who was waiting in the car for me. I highly recommend them for all of your small pet needs. As an edit to my original review, after I posted it, the office (Mary) actually called to see how my baby was doing. I really appreciate the attention to detail and again , the caring. Additionally, I forgot to mention how awesome Alicia is . She's always super pleasant on the phone and is prompt at returning my emails. I called with a question the other day and she didn't know the answer, but she found out and called me right back... Really, these guys are great. Their service is unbeatable.

Just got into town yesterday and needed to get my girl to see someone right away. Took care of her needs and she was feeling much better when we left.

We are new to the area and needed to get our three "kids" established with a new vet. Cherokee was able to get us in quickly and took such great care of our animals. We were able to go in with them, which was important as our elderly lab gets very anxious. We were extremely happy with everything about Cherokee and look forward to a continuing relationship.

Cherokee was able to get me in quickly when my cat was very sick and my regular vet was unavailable. Cherokee thoroughly examined my kitty and took good care of her as she had to stay overnight for fluids and antibiotics. They explained everything to me carefully and addressed all of my questions and provided me a plan to help my cat get better. Although my cats illness is possibly incurable, the vet was honest with me and is trying everything possible to help her. Thank you to everyone @ Cherokee!

Been going to Cherokee for years. They were always straight up and I know they work hard. They squeezed us in when our first cat Pickles had to be put down. They have always been professional yet caring. Thank you.

I needed to board my dog again to go out of town, this is the 3rd time I’ve called to board her and they’ve been unbelievable rude to me/not wanting to board her....My dog was due for a shot this month and I had her scheduled at Jonesborough where I’ve taken her since she was 3 weeks old, but Cherokee demanded they give her the shot and exam there before she could be boarded. I agreed because I didn’t have a choice. I don’t have friends/family to watch her for me when I need to go out of town. My dog has never missed one vet appointment or shot since she was 3 weeks old when I found her. She’s 5 years old now. She needs to be pre treated for ever shot she receives. Jonesborough only charges me $5 for pre treatment. They did not tell me pre treatment here would be over $50. They pre treated her 2 days after her shot that she was supposed to be pre treated for and I’m expected to pay this. I couldn’t make it back into town yesterday so they had to keep her an extra night. I couldn’t afford the whole bill but explained what I could pay today. I paid what I could, which was more than half the bill that I didn’t even expect to be this much. They put the manger on the phone and she demanded I pay the rest of the bill now. I explained I paid my last penny to my name and I could pay the remainder when I receive my paycheck on Friday. I said so you’re going to keep my dog from me and change me for the rest of the week because I can’t afford the rest today, she said no. She then tells me to find someone to give me the money or their credit card or pull out a loan....I’ve been on my own since 14. She said “you don’t go to the grocery store and not pay for it”. Then questions me as to why I didn’t pick her up yesterday at the proper time because that added an extra night to the bill, which I was prepared for because I could not make it in town in time. This hurt me beyond words can describe, I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year and I’ve always paid my balance. My grandma boarded our dogs here my ENTIRE life growing up. And now I’ve been boarding my dog here. This was beyond uncalled for and unprofessional. I would NEVER treat somebody like this regardless if they are struggling or not. I’m doing the best I can. This lady made me cry and was rude the entire time I spoke with her. If they treat you like badly, I feel like they your animals don’t get any better care behind closed doors....The boarding staff is amazing, but the front office and management....unprofessional and unfriendly. Awful customer service.

I have been taking my dogs to Cherokee animal hospital for the last 3 years. They get exceptional care and the staff is top notch. I like the fact that I call when I drive up, tell them where I am parked and they come and get the dogs for me. The staff is timely and always keep me informed of what is going on. I have also boarded my dogs here and they get excellent care and I never have to worry about their well being while I am away. The prices are well in check with other vets and you simply can't beat the care and service.

I have 3 dogs who are my world!! Everyone in this office has been nothing but helpful and nice to me and my dogs. They take amazing care of them and always remind me when it’s time for their shots as well! I’m also an overly stressed dog mom. The smallest thing will make me call them immediately and they always talk me through and get me an appointment scheduled as soon as possible. A few months back, one of my dogs was having some major diarrhea and even some blood. I tried to take him to multiple emergency places that refused to see him and was clearly in tears by the time i called cherokee! The wonderful ladies at the front calmed me down and got him in that same day. I loved the place before then, but that instance specifically made me realize that i couldn’t have picked a better primary vet for my dog family. To all the people in the office, THANK YOU. Great doctors, especially Dr. Amanda Wilson. Her expertise in ultra sound diagnostics saved my Jack Russell Terrier. Care and follow up has been great. Staff kind and competent.

My dog had ear ache I called was in the next day. Very friendly and quick staff. Tanner likes them too. They come to my ccx area took him in and he was back in 15 min. Thank you he feeling better already

I brought my elderly cat here because she wasn't eating and the lady that took her from my car was sharp and a bit rude. But more importantly they brought her back out in just a few minutes with an appetite stimulant and no diagnosis and charged me $350 for that! I had to bring her to another veterinarian and found out she had abscessed tooth. They didn't even look in her mouth at Cherokee! The new vet i went to (Boones Creek Animal Hospital) which was awesome, examined her and gave antibiotic for under $100! I would NOT recommend Cherokee!

They had the lobby closed due to covid, but they called me many times to give me updates. They got my dog all taken care of on his first visit very quickly. I appreciate all they did for my dog.
