Great concern for my 8 pets

Every time I attempted to get their assistance there was a “oh he needs this too and there will be an additional expense”. I brought him in fir an exam to establish care and get blood work. Then I showed up again a couple months later and “he needs an annual exam”. What do you think I was asking for when I said he needs an exam to establish care?!?! I would not recommend this place to anyo.

Blue Ridge Animal Hospital has always taken such great care of my dog, and now they're doing the same for my new kitten. Dr. Vail and the staff are so knowledgeable and answer questions with such helpful advice! They also have great prices! We love them and highly recommend them!

Beware of the form. They took our cat to the back to be neutered and left me and my son in the lobby unable to ask questions. They form had yes or no questions and to the side in small writing are the prices. Had I not gotten suspicious I would have paid 160 extra dollars and who knows of They would have even performed the procedures. After seeing the prices I struck through them so there would be no confusion only to have them call my wife to ask her if she wanted the same procedures that I clearly struck through without telling her that there was a cost involved. I get that 2020 has made things worse for everyone but trying to pull one over on a loyal existing customer was too much for us. They also say they partner with the shelter and when we called the shelter said they haven't been associated with them for over a year. Normally don't give bad reviews but in really upset because our poor cat was the one who really suffered. Dropped him off at 8 am and was asked to pick him up at 1030 without anything being done to him because they misled us on the animal shelter voucher... Just makes you wonder if they can do this while you're watching what happens when you're not.... Just saying

My son found a stray cat and we decided to try Blue Ridge Animal Hospital for care. The first couple of visits went well. Was advised to neuter and I explained that I was waiting on a voucher from Washington County Humane Society. The receptionist stated that they would honor the price of the voucher since our cat was an existing patient even though they do not partner with the shelter any longer. So I took Blue Ridge up on their offer. Dropped off our cat this morning at 8am, received call at 10:15am stating that they would not honor the price and that I would have to pick up the cat if I didn't pay full price for the neuter. Now looking for another hospital as I will no longer be utilizing this hospital! Surprised and frustrated!

Had my four babies boarded there for about 5 weeks. They were treated wonderfully. But when I asked to have my dog washed with nail trimming, they trimmed her fur too, I didn't ask for this.

Very polite and friendly people. Provided detailed information about follow up care for Gracie with reasonable prices for their services.

I just started going here recently and there is not really much to tell. So far they have been awesome. They are cheaper than other places i have taken my cat and they are much better too. They have found things other vets have overlooked and provide more care at a much cheaper price.

The people are so kind and the environment there is wonderful for both cats and dogs.but they shaved off a lot of my dogs fur when we only asked for there nails to be trimmed and it was winter.
