Preppy Pet Hendersonville, Kentucky

I have tried calling SEVERAL times and used SEVERAL different numbers to reach someone. I’ve also called at different times of day. I’ve let the phone ring for five minutes at a time and not even a voicemail picked up. Non responsive is an understatement for this company. Then, I walked into the office and they had five people standing around with the phone ringing constantly. Just answer the phone. Not that hard to do.

The people there are awesome with my little baby. He is a saucy Chiuhauha named Prince. He thinks he is a Doberman Pincer. Lol

They are very friendly and helpful.

Online it said it would be 235 for the week, as we’re dropping them off to leave the state they quote us 550. They were kind enough to give us a night off for the confusion. Picked both dogs up yesterday and they are CAKED in dry urine and smell so foul I had to clean my car. After spending all night constantly sneezing and coughing, now they have kennel cough. (Fully vaccinated.) my in-laws have 2 dogs that also now have kennel cough and when the food was returned, there was almost all of it left after 8 days. Extremely unsatisfied and out 500 dollars and cost of vet bills/ antibiotics for all 4 dogs.

I could not recommend Preppy Pet enough! I have a very picky Great Dane that takes time to warm up to new people. He loves the staff here and they’re always so friendly.

Great until they decide to change their hours and close with no notice to customers burned one to many times.

I decided to bring my puppy here for daycare today and was extremely disappointed when I picked him up. He is only 4 months old but already plays very well with other dogs. I assumed dropping him off for daycare would mean someone would at least be watching him, but maybe not. When I picked him up he was shaking and his ears where pinned back. He was coated in pee and had a bleeding cut on the corner of his eye. Leads me to believe that maybe someone wasn’t keeping an eye on him while other dogs got a little too rough with playing. Now I have a traumatized pup and have completely lost trust in leaving him at Preppy Pet for the day.

With the wonderment of what tomorrow will bring, my family dogs needed their yearly trim. I highly recommend Preppy Pet ! I brought in my 2 older dogs and was met at my car to see if I needed help. The staff is so caring and professional. Give them a try, I promise you that You and your Pup will be pleased.

Dana and his wife are great! My dog is extremely timid and I was nervous leaving her for the first time for a trip. They took great care of her and I felt safe the entire time knowing that she was in good hands. They truly do care about the animals and make sure all their needs have been met. I'm so happy I found this place!

Well thanks to the owner who put the emails publicly, everyone can see my private email address. I don’t feel like that’s a professional thing to do. I am beyond disappointed in your reaction from my first contact with you. I understand you wanting to protect your business, but to make it sound like I made things up is not right. Our dog suffered a trauma at your place, he had a big bump right in the middle of his forehead. I expected an apology and maybe saying you will make sure nothing like this can happen again. Very very disappointing!

Best place to leave your pet, the owners are super awesome and take care of my dog like it's their own. Highly recommended to anyone who loves their pets

Preppy pet is great & consistent U get in & out immediately & they showed me the kennel area the 1st time there which is unusual. The prices are still reasonable.

Oh my goodness!!! Today was our first time getting groomed at Preppy Pet, and we will never go anywhere else. Grooming is usually a terrible time bc we have two large Goldendoodles, and the haircuts rarely turn out cute and they come out acting like they have been tortured. Not today!! Hero came out soooo happy and super cute!! Not to mention he was recently sprayed by a skunk (twice), and the smell is completely gone and he smells so good! Jody is an angel! She is so patient and kind and you can tell he was treated so differently at Preppy Pet. They are kind and wonderful. The dogs don’t wait in kennels for hours bc they get to take breaks to play and go outside to the bathroom. This place is a gem. We are starting a Jody fan club at our house. Preppy Pet, you have won us completely! Thank you!

After years of disappointment at PetSmart, Preppy Pet has come to our rescue! Our two golden doodles have never looked better or been happier after a haircut. I wish someone told us about them sooner!

I just picked my babies up. I was so impressed with the kindness and professionalism. I was so nervous leaving them because of a previous horrible experience with another boarding place in Castalian Springs. I called so much I’m sure I annoyed them but each time they were pleasant and seemed happy to answer my questions. My babies were so happy with tails wagging. We plan on setting up daycare for them because of how well things went. So happy to have found these great people.

They are always so kind and great for our two fur babies. Genuinely sweet people that runs this facility and they treat both our dogs and us like family. They even offered to come and pick up our dogs when we were in a tight family emergency with no family around.

Dropped my dog off for the first time for doggie daycare and met the owners who absolutely AWESOME and WONDERFUL..I trust them 100 percent with my dog's. I'd highly recommend this place. I LOVE it

They took excellent care of our cat. Yes, our cat was taken care of here.

The owners are so kind and helpful. My dog was a frequent boarder and I always felt like she was safe and well cared for. Prices are affordable and the staff is very friendly. My dog would get SO excited whenever we pulled up for day care. We are moving out of state and I know we will have a hard time finding a comparable place. Highly recommend Preppy Pet!

Nice people and nice prices

I was really hoping to try out your facility after reading the reviews. But, I have to leave my experience as a potential new customer.  I have had two appointments January 4th & 5th and both have been cancelled the day of, the latest one 30 minutes before I was scheduled to arrive today. I certainly understand situations do arise and I am flexible with compromising, but to receive a message from your staff that you are not sure when another appointment will be available is a little disappointing.

Only place I will board my dogs. Love Dana!!

My "Grand puppy" loves it there. My daughter is out of town and I took him yesterday for the day. He played and got a bath before I picked him up, as I was leaving he ran back to the young lady employed there to get one more hug! I know he loves it!
