Just Poochy Cookeville, Kentucky

My pet has been going to Just Poochy for about 3 years. The staff is always professional, helpful and friendly. My pet is not the easiest dog to groom, they describe her as a 'potato' (she doesn't co-operate with them at all, she lays like a lump). The place is always full of happy pets and its obvious that the owners pay close attention to cleanliness of the facility and to keeping the pets happy. I would recommend Just Poochy Pet Grooming over any of the others.

I was Ok with them, until they charged me an extra $ 15.oo for being 5 minutes late on pickup. And there were still other dogs there. I'll be finding another day care from now on. Ended up paying 23.oo for 3.5 hours.

Stanley has been going to Just Poochy several days a week for daycare for over a year and we couldn’t say enough AMAZING things about the facility, the staff, the cleanliness, and the overall environment!! Stanley also gets groomed, we are very particular about his cut and we have never been disappointed!! -Stanley is a labradoodle ????

The people here are very sweet and the prices on everything they do are the best I've found in Cookeville and Sparta. I travel 30ish minutes just to go to them. I've had my two dogs get baths, nails trimmed, and teeth brushed here. And let me tell you, that's not easy! One of my pups is strong and doesn't like any of those things ???? I'd absolutely recommend just Poochy and I hope one day to let my pups stay at their doggy day care

Too many dogs present for a required personality test in the afternoon, as well as staff to dog ratio. Friendly staff, nice, clean facility.

Wouldn’t board my puppy because she didn’t have her rabies shot even though she wasn’t old enough to have her rabies shot!

My Catahoula Leopard came out feeling soft, looking clean, smelling great, and had a wagging tail. This was her first visit to the groomer and she was so happy going in and coming out! Will be taking her nowhere else as long as I'm in Cookeville.

We love this place, well, I mean our pets do! Prices are fair and the service is great. Our Pooches always have fun playing with the other dogs and they look sharp!!

As always loved and cared for!! Dusty on his first sleep over did great and of course detailed feedback. Love you all!!

The staff take great care of my 14 year old blind dachshund. They use to do my older dachshund as well who was also blind. The staff takes their time and tend to my babies needs..

My dog loves going here! He always gets a great bath nail trim, face trim and ear cleaning for a reasonable price. Staff is super friendly.

My dog Timber just started going to Just Poochy, he is very shy and a little timid but the staff is very patient with him and always goes out of their way to make friends with him. Seems very clean and Timber is making friends. He will continue to go to doggy day care here!!!

My 6 month old labradoodle was booked over night here so I could attend an out of town wedding and when I picked him up the next morning I couldn’t believe the condition he was in... for starters he had poop stuck in his fur. He smelled horrible and was obviously very stressed, Now I know that he is kind of an anxious little guy anyway seeing as he has not met all that many new people from being born during Covid.. but I expected more from pet professionals. I also noticed while unpacking his overnight bag he was not fed one of his meals. I was really hopeful this was going to be a place I could rely on to care for my fur baby when I’m away.. it is definitely not. I absolutely hate saying anything mean about anyone or any place but from one dog loving parent to another, I don’t recommend it here.

Been goin to just poochy for almost a year now. The staff there is excellent they take the time to get to know each dog and there personality which means a lot. Our fur babies are always excited to go and love how they know them by name when they walk in that eases our mind knowing there well taken care of while being there. Whether it's a spa day or just a play day or even when there staying for boarding. Highly recommend and if you haven't tried them you need too you will not be disappointed!

They do such a great job and take great care of my furbaby! Staff is always helpful, they are wonderful with my pup and their prices are very reasonable. I don't trust my pup to anyone else :-)

Just Poochy is incredibly patient and kind EVERY time I walk in the door with my four - yes, four dogs. They take care of my dogs and they take care of me. They seem to be genuinely happy to see my dogs. I just could not ask for a better place to have them groomed and they do an EXCELLENT job!

Such a good first experience! They were so good to my dog and extemely considerate of what I was wanting. Super kind people!

I took my dog today for a bath and to have his nails cut. They completely isolated my dog because he was not old enough for his rabies shots yet. He is only 13 weeks old. He is all up to date with his shots he goes to copelands vet, but because of the rabies shots they said he needed to be isolated. Which is understandable, but I came back 30 minutes later to get him and they could not find my dog. No one was looking after him and the lady proceeded to look around until asking a worker if she had seen my dog. She found my dog 3 minutes later under the desk by the entrance shaking and whining because they left him with no one looking after him. I am not saying they should be watching my dog 24/7, but the worker should atleast know where my dog is. I will NOT be back and if you’re looking for a groomer this is NOT the one.

I love knowing I can trust the place I take my dog, which is why I choose Just Poochy every time. The dogs are always playing so I know he’s getting exercise and having fun! He’s always sleepy when I get home too, which is a plus when you have to vacuum everyday for fur. Very glad I can always rely on Just Poochy to always do a good job and keep my fur baby entertained and looking good!

Cleanest, Kindest, and most welcoming daycare i’ve brought my pup to. I never have to worry about her when she’s there, she always goes in excited and she comes home super sleepy!

Waited four times before writing a review. There's an employee with medium/short brown hair usuaully tied up, I believe her name is Kayla. She's rude every time I come in for no reason.

THE BEST DAYCARE AND GROOMING SERVICE HANDS DOWN!! My dog is my child and I’m very picky about how he’s taken care of and by whom, when I’m not there to do it. Just Poochy goes above and beyond to keep my dog happy and I always have a hard time getting him to leave because he loves it there lol. This place is one of the only places I’d trust for my fur baby because I know they’re a cage free facility, they always make sure he eats his lunch, they make sure he is always having fun! The daycare workers are always playing with dogs when I pick him up and the staff is so great and really love the dogs their selves. He is always so tired when we get home but by the next morning he is up and ready waiting by the front door when he hears me put my shoes on because he knows he gets to go to daycare! They always make sure to go above and beyond and are very organized. Boarding services especially!! When we go out of town he thinks he is going on a vacation too because he gets to go to daycare and stay the night and not have to come home the same day! He would live there if I let him!

Love this place. Take my Husky and little mix whatever he is there all the time. Simply said, they treat your pets like family.

I use Just Poochy for nail buff & boarding. It has been my experience, their service has outshined the 2 other Cookeville kennels I have used in the past. Since I have a short haired Boxer, I cannot speak on their grooming but from what I see, they excelled their too. Their free range kennel setup allows all day socializing and they don't use cages. They use open gated kennels similar to a horse stable. My dog loves it there and never appears to be stressed when I pick him up. Never a bad experience and I have been using them for 3 years.

My Australian Shepard Charlie has been twice and he seemed to enjoy it and he looked great without all the fur. It is actually time for another cut because my house is full of it right now!

I took my dog here asking for a uniform-length, semi long cut. After specifically stating that I didn’t want him to look shaved and showing photos of what I wanted, I picked him up and he had been shaved and his head was the length I had requested for his whole body. When pointed out the groomer, the response was “I know it looks bad but just give it a few weeks”. Would never take my dog here again.

We were very well pleased with their haircuts. They look so nice.
