The hospital overall is really good, all the workers, specialists, vets, assistants, etc. Are great people, very friendly and helpful. Dr. Stegeman took care of my Moochie (little ShiTzu) he got TCP and God used her to save my furry baby. He received the first time blood transfusion made in Clarksville ????????❤️ and they did an awesome work getting a dog that will match his type of blood. They work almost immediately and I’m so grateful with every single staff member. Sheina has been taking care of my baby since then and she is a wonderful vet/nurse. (I apologize if I misspelled your name Sheina ????) My only disappointment is the high costs, every time I have to take my dog to be rested I have to pay around $200+ and I have to take him every month, I just can’t afford it so I take him when I have the money. Thank you very much!!! Moochie sends kisses to all!! Highly recommended!! God bless you all!!

My dog was attacked by another dog tonight. When you call this location they refer you to their Nashville clinic. HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?! A rep said they have one Vet on staff. The 24/7 advertised service is misleading and this is very unfortunate.

Not cheap, but if your pet needs more care than your regular vet can provide, they have a lot of resources and they know their stuff. They are also caring and thorough.

Very thorough and explained everything step by step. Answered my questions and follow up phone call. Seemed to care about my pet and me.

Very responsive, transparent, timely, and courteous. It was also New Years Eve with a staffing shortage for all businesses so I was impressed with how well we were cared for with those circumstances added which is out of their control.

Incredibly disappointed with our experience. We brought our dog in with a laceration on his hip. They performed the surgery and closed the wound with stitches. Three days later, the stitches came apart. According to our vet, fluid buildup was the likely cause of the stitches coming apart. Our vet had to redo the entire surgery and properly included a drain. This should have been done the first time. We paid for the same surgery twice and this location has not accepted any responsibility for the mishap. In speaking with the manager, she stated that drains may need to be inserted due to the nature of the wound, but would not agree that the vet should have included the drain when the surgery was done the first time. Our dog had to endure the same surgery twice because the vet did not do the drain that should have been done the first time. UPDATE: Spoke again with the manager and she attempted to explain that they do not insert drains because they are not in the business of adding expenses. In the same conversation where she stated that they were fully aware that the sutures could possibly come apart from fluid build-up, she again made no attempt to agree that the drain should have been placed during the first surgery. And the additional expense would have been inserting a tube on each end of the stitches to allow for fluid to escape. In short, they've explicitly stated that they were aware that it is common for a wound like this to open due to fluid build-up, but they did not even discuss the option of placing the drain to reduce the potential for the injury to re-open. I will also be adding pictures of the two vets' work on this injury so you all can see difference in the quality of work. We are beyond frustrated at this point.

Even with the COVID protocols, they made sure to make it a personal experience by bring me the X-rays of my babes broken shoulder. They went over pricing prior to conducting any decisions to ensure it wasn’t an issue. I loved the customer service and would definitely go back if the need arises.

I feel my Oliver got excellent care and was very appreciative they were open on the holiday. However saying that....I think the prices are outrageous and they take advantage of animals in a crisis.

They were able to squeeze my Gappy in on New Year’s Eve and Day! Thank you all so much he’s feeling so much better and back to his old self! They were really communicative and kept me in the loop with everything going. And shout out to everyone here who had to work on a holiday and still kept such a great attitude ❤️

Hours say open for emergency vet (these hours include 12am to 6pm). If those hours are not fully operational I would suggest editing it online. They are closed at 2 am. Guess my animal will die, I've called every emergency vet within 45 mile radius and more. This is absurd.

Thank you for saving my dog! Great customer service! They even gave me updates when I asked. Only negative thing I could possible say is the cost is high and not everyone can afford those prices. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of an emergency vet.

My dog badly chipped a tooth on Christmas morning and this was the only place open. I called and was saddened and discouraged to find out that they don’t have any dental tools. I find this odd because animals can certainly have dental emergencies and I would hope that emergency clinics would be prepared for anything. They did offer to provide us with pain medication which was thoughtful, but their check-in process felt a bit lengthy — especially if one is in an emergent situation. We were asked to fill out forms online and wait for a phone call to gather our dog’s history, then wait for another phone call to let us know when we could head their way. If they were prepared to treat our situation and had a smoother check-in process, I would share a higher rating. However, the two ladies I spoke to on the phone were kind and professional which was appreciated. In response to the owner's reply, I would like to add that it was not waiting to be treated that was an issue, it was the clinic's INABILITY to treat this issue that I found troublesome as I was told that they do not keep the tools necessary to treat this type of emergency. We understand that critical patients should be treated immediately, but were/are frustrated that we could not be treated at all. Thank you for your response. Best.

I would give this place 100 stars if I could. I lost my sweet Calvin a week ago tomorrow. When i contacted them, what was the hardest decision of my life became a beautiful process. Never in a million years would i think i would say that, but the team they have are amazing. They were soft spoken, treated Calvin & my little family with dignity and respect. We chose to get him cremated, and they delivered in a beautiful oak piece and his sweet delicate paw print. They provided me with the rainbow bridge poem and I read it whenever i start to feel sad. Today i checked the mail and they had sent me a sympathy card, so i decided today was the day i was strong enough to write a review. From the bottom of my little family’s hearts, thank you. Thank you so much for everything you did and continue to do in Calvins honor.

These folks are doing the Lord's work taking care of pets at all hours of the night. Digital check in was easy and they used it to triage my case. They sent me home for a few hours. Treatment took about five hours and they fixed the issue with my feline. They have on-site security. They also have restrooms accessible inside the front door. Gosh, at midnight Saturday night there were five vehicles and their occupants awaiting their fur kids.

I would love to give these guys a much higher rating, because they were able to help our cat’s urinary blockage (approx $2,000 later and the weekend in the hospital)….. HOWEVER, THEY FAILED TO TREAT THE CAUSE OF THE BLOCKAGE!!!! He had a UTI that was NEVER TREATED in all those medical expenses, and so here we are 12 days later back at our vets office because he’s blocked again. Thanks a lot guys. Is this because we didn’t have the money to pay for yet another night at the hospital??

As dachshund owners, we could not have asked for a better facility. The ENTIRE after hours staff, from Mike the Security Guard, the receptionist, medical technicians, the nurses, and doctors were professional, caring, and understanding. They worked with us to ensure our girl received to care she needed, made calls to their sister facility in Nashville to schedule treatment, made sure we understood treatment risks and outlooks, and financial requirements of the treatment needed. Getting our girl into the Nashville Vet Specialist group of treatment facilities was, by far, the best decision we’ve ever made for our pups.

Let me start with the people on the phone are very nice. But that's where it ends... This place is horrible. We sat in there parking lot for over 9 hours. In that time frame we saw maybe 9 or 10 vehicles come and go. We checked in occasionally during that time and nothing but disregard about our cat. We understand and support emergency cases but they never even attempted to just check and see how things are even though they knew we were in the parking lot. Some of them may mean well but the whole business speaks for itself. Just beware of this place After posting this review then they decided to reach out. Seems odd not a word all day but now they wanted to show some concern. What a joke .if I had enough space I would leave so much more than this little bit...

Hours are in not accurate! Called my vet at 530 when my dog ate a chicken wing and they referred me here, said they would be able to help him. Immediately called this place at 5:30pm on a Tuesday evening and was told that they couldn’t help because they won’t open again until Friday!

The ladies that worked last night on December 15th 2021 were the most sweetest ladies to my mother. She lost her sweet baby boy Blue after almost 12 years and I cannot express enough the way they spoke to my mom and us and their genuine concern and empathy they had for my mother as she cried uncontrollably. They were very thorough and compassionate of the situation and in a time like that it was exactly what was needed. Please know how much we appreciate you ladies last night and for all that you do. ❤

I rarely write reviews. My husband and I were traveling and woke up to our dog throwing up blood. It was a Sunday so all vets were closed. We ended up here and felt so held throughout the entire process. Everyone was understanding of our concern, took great care of our dog, and the vet spent time talking with us about what was going on and how to support him. I now feel like if we were traveling through Nashville again we would have a vet we trust and would go back to. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our fur baby!

They took such good care of our French Bulldog, Tater, who ended up needing stitches in his ear on Thanksgiving evening after he was involved in a dog fight. They communicated the entire process to us and our baby is on the road to recovery. I hope we don’t have to go for another pet emergency again, but it’s nice to know there is a great place in the Clarksville community to take your pets in case an after hour or holiday emergency arises.

NVS was amazing with their treatment and compassion. I brought in my cat who was near death at almost midnight and they were able to run all necessary tests to save her. They stayed in open communication with me all night about her progress. Would recommend to everyone!

I brought my cat in there and spent hundreds of dollars to get him fixed it was good service at first but I was told to bring back in 48 hours for a bandage change well when that time came I got told to take him to my primary veterinarian which probably sounds good to you guys but not to me cause I’ve already gave you guys all my money I just think when you run a business like this caring for peoples animals these are our family members that we love to death you guys should keep your word.

Very professional and compassionate! We had our 10 year old pitbull family member who was having seizures taken care of by these beautiful people and they were so thoughtful and caring. Unfortunately we had to have her euthanized due to her age and condition, But I felt very comfortable with them and they were so respectful to our situation. I would definitely recommend these great professionals if your furbabies are in need of help. Thank you all at Nashville vet specialists. They also gave us a nice paw print of my pitty in a clay and leather case, very classy!

Professional and caring staff. Took great care of both of my Kittens. It's expensive, but in an emergency best place to go in the area.

Everything was wonderful. Very fast and technical. The staff was loving and attentive. Problem: The recommended food is very very hard to get and terribly expensive. We cant afford it. I will be cooking for carter myself.
