In, the day and age where customer service is priceless. Pet Haven, continually comes up short. No, wonder big business is taking over everything. The small businness simple principles lost on them to larger companies that win the business with awful service.

We just moved to Wichita and these were the first vets I contacted to get my dog's shots updated. This visit was pretty straight-forward and aside from the vet seeming nervous around my very docile elderly dog, we had no problems. For his second visit, we arrived on time, called the front desk, and waited for the vet assistant to come outside. The guy asked if I had a mask and I replied that I left it at home. I asked if they had one I could use and he told me no, which meant I couldn't enter the building but they could do the visit outside. The temperature on this particular morning was probably no more than 40 degrees tops. I might be a bit spoiled by his previous vet (Little Apple Vets in Manhattan, KS) who we had for years, but one would expect that a business that requires masks could at least provide one for customers. Pet Haven may be great at what they do; I wasn't with them long enough to experience their services. We were just a little turned off by our experience and I felt the need to share for other potential customers to consider.

Very helpful with my fur puppy I got from Petland. Please don’t ever purchase from Pet land, they sell sick puppies with Warrenty of a Vet they partnered with and never contacts you back. However Pet Haven was able to get me in and took care of the puppy. Amazing services !

I agree with the review from Hilary Harkleroad on this review page. I did get to Pet Haven 6 minutes before my appointment but received the same treatment by the militant desk worker. I have no cell phone so I pop my head in to let them know I’m there. Today we were waiting for over 25 minutes since I popped my head in and all the cars there when we arrived left and they helped three new cars. I was there so long that the pest control man went in to Pet Haven and completed his job and left. So I popped my head in again to let them know exactly what I just wrote here and the desk lady snapped at me in a rude and mean manner as the desk worker has done before and I overlooked it. After getting the heartworm test and paying for it, I asked for all my dogs records as I do not want to be treated this way anymore and especially I didn’t want them to take it out on my dog. I left and called them when I got home and asked to have the records sent in the mail. I also called for the heart worm prescription to be honored and they said “It’s up to the office manager and since you are not a client anymore you probably won’t get it”. I asked for my money back and she said no, it has already been tested (20 minutes ago). Now I need heart worm med for my beautiful and sweet dog and hopefully the office manager will truly give me a call to either honor the prescription and/or give me my money back as well as my dog’s vaccination records. I have called the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association to see how to file a complaint and resolve the issue. I do not want to return to Pet Haven ever again.

Going overboard on COViD restrictions..Not accommodating. Changing vets. One receptionist acts like the customer is a bother. Wish I knew her name..

Great staff. I was in and out within 30 minutes of my scheduled appointment. Very satisfied. Pricing was a little high but overall giving 5 stars for service received and timing.

Like this place a lot. Take both of my cats there with no problems. Everyone is nice. Not a fan of waiting in my car for my appointment though and it was a long wait this last time. Ahh covid

Pet Haven has good Vets. They have active record of my pets visits so they can see everything that has been done. That's convenient for me.

They canceled my appointment (to take care of several things, including rabies test & vaccine, meds pick up, and to see vet about concerning growth on my dog's paw) because I didn't get a voicemail left the afternoon the day before. They gave away our appointment within 3 hours and 45 mins after having left the vm. I've spent HOURS waiting in the car for appointments over the last year. The person on the phone was did not have any problem assuring me it was my fault I didn't have an appointment. We've never had to confirm appointments before. Doing what's best for the vets office, not the clients that make, and plan around, appts. They're operating under the thinking that most people don't show up, when most people do, or reschedule. And the thing is, if they would have said, "we have a pet that desperately needs your spot...", we would have given it. Never going back.

I called in to make an appointment for my parents 3 cats to get their rabies vaccine updated about 2 weeks ago. We were about 5 minutes early for our appointment and I called a few times and no one picked up until about 10 minutes AFTER our appointment and they said they couldn't take us cause we were late so we rescheduled for the following week even though we shouldn't have had to because it was their fault (parking lot was empty might I add). So I show up 20 minutes early this time instead to make sure we would be able to get it done. So I park, call, and say "i'm here for my appointment" the receptionist said "one moment" she wasn't friendly about it so I assumed right then and there they weren't going to take us for whatever reason. So she gets back on the phone with me after a few minutes and says "We can't get in you today because you missed you're last appointment and we needed you to prepay for this one" technically no I was there y'all just didn't pick up your phone but okay. She said "we called you 2 days previous saying that we need you to pre-pay for this appointment because you missed the last one" (They hadn't, I have absolutely no missed called or voicemails from them). I was absolutely furious. The lady tried to argue with me, and even recited my number back to me so they had no reason not to call, so I simply said "you can come look at my phone records, I have absolutely nothing from you guys" she ignored me and continued to say we can reschedule you for a different day. I asked them why wouldn't you have told us that while we were on the phone outside the clinic that previous week when we were there? I would have gladly paid it then if I had know it was needed. and she just kept pushing and saying "We can reschedule you for next week if you want" No thank you im never returning that's for sure! One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Terrible communication and customer service. Not impressed at all. It seems as though if you haven't been a patient for 10+ years the service is absolutely horrible according to most of these comments unfortunately

I took my cat in for a declaw and have no complaints there however the receptionist is rude and unprofessional. After reading some of the orher reviews it would seem she makes a habit of it. Maybe she needs a different job. I won't be going back.

We have been taking our pets here for years until recently their customer service has treated us poorly during a recent visit. I suggest that everyone stop going there and look for a new vet. To respond to Pet Haven response: I think we made it clear on the parking lot phone conversation what we wanted in our pet care and you managed to screw it up. You might want to take a course in customer service and anger management with your personal problems.

I am so pleased with the friendly, caring team at Pet Haven. I have been dealing with them for about 17 years and have always found them to be helpful and honest and knowledgeable. I thank them...and my cat thanks them.

I've used them as my primary vet for almost 5 years now and recently moved down to Haysville. I'll gladly drive the 15-20 mins to keep my pets in good hands. When my pup passed away they even planted a tree in her name on Arbor Day!!

I misunderstood my appointment time for this afternoon, thinking it 2:30 and not 2:20. It was made online and simply misread when I put it on my calendar. I showed up at 2:25, navigated the full parking lot of customers waiting, got to the door realizing you could not enter before calling at 2:27 (has no idea about COVID policy in place), only to be told I would have to reschedule. It was for vaccinations for my 5 lb dog. If this was the first time I had an issue with the militant staff, I could overlook it, as in the past. Yet, as a business owner myself, one would think it important to extend some grace and goodwill to the very patrons supporting your business so it exists in the first place. I have also not been to this clinic and not waited extensively past my appointment time, so it doesn't make sense they couldn't help me with my oversight. It is most certainly within our power to be kind and helpful, yet you are unlikely to find that atmosphere there. Cue the snarky, "it's all your fault" comments from the "owner"...
