Took our Amazon Parrot in to have his nails trimmed, and Nancy was awesome! She trimmed and filed and then she weighed him! She suggested we put our bird on a diet, no more bacon or pizza. This place is the best! Knowledgeable and very friendly!! 5 stars all day long!

I got my parakeet budgie from there

We bought a baby parrotlet hatched August 1st near the end of August. It stayed in the nursery getting great care with hand feedings and we were able to come and visit the bird multiple times a week until the bird was old enough to go home. We also were able to have the bird start acclimating to her cage before we brought her home. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable and as first time bird owners we felt well prepared in caring for her before we brought her home and the adjustment has been smooth. There also is a great option for when you have to go out of town called the "bed and breakfast" that is in the store and they can care for your birds at an extremely reasonable price while you are out of town.

My son purchased his first bird here. They take great care and time to explain everything he needs to know to take care of his first parakeet. It was such an awesome experience for him.

Super epic! They have lots of birbs (yes, birbs) and they all seem very healthy. They also have lots of babies. I bought a budgie and she/he's doing very good. I suggest to get a bird from here if you are looking for one. :)

Best place I know to go in the Wichita area.

The only bird shop I actually recommend. It's not a big box puppy mill, but a place that raises some of the best hand raised birds in the area. Might not be able to walk out with your next pet same day, but they would rather make sure that you are ready for the commitment of the care needed. Their bird prices are about the same as the big box store, but they have done more to work with the bird so it's half trained before you buy. Out of the 3 birds I've bought there, 2 budgies and a cockatiel, 2 were very well trained and let me know issues up front for their care. No where really trains budgies, but I'd argue that 1 was hand raised as happy as he was.

This place is the best of the best when it comes to birds. You can learn so much from here. They also have tons of options for food, toys, and cages for your birds. You can also buy almost any bird from here: most of them hand fed! I've gotten my best friend from here and am currently waiting for another friend. I am so excited! I will ALWAYS recommend this place!

Knowledgeable parrot people. The owner trims my bird's nails and feathers usually one time a month. There are many options for food, treats, & toys. Everything to keep a bird happy and healthy.

Really nice place and awesome people. I recently purchased a crimson bellied conuer and this bird is very tam, she must think that she is a lap dog because she wants to be held and petted all the time.

Don't take this place for granted! It is the absolute best place for your bird care needs. My husband and I would always go here, until we moved to KC. Nancy is a phenomenal bird expert, and always handles them with so much love and care! John and Angela are so quick to help you with any questions and concerns! We still come to Wichita once a month and will continue to support this small and loving business. We didn't want to drive our birds down for trimmings, but we will have to, because we've yet to find a place in KC, who does it with such care.

The only store to buy birds...hand raised and feed...nice selection. This is where I going for anything I need for my cockatiel!!! Friendly and experienced staff!!!

Love these guys, awesome place for anything bird. Also they have a nice selection of dog and cat food. They make a great one stop shop for all my animals.

I recently discovered parrotlets at birds of paradise. Of course the first one that I fell in love with was already sold but Angela informed me that they would be getting in some young ones soon. Well the week ago I live got sunshine and she is adorable. Angela and the crew at birds of paradise extremely helpful with information and advice and help and I haven't met any of the staff that doesn't have a wonderful personality.

As always very friendly and helpful. Love to see all the happy birds and people.
