They've always taken really good care of my furbaby! Staff is always super professional and polite! Usually when calling the clinic, Ms. Autumn or Ms. Crystal is the one to answer and help me with any scheduling or vet related question I have and my pup just absolutely loves all the staff here!

Brought my dog in for a cyst on her eye. They were very nice and rendered effective treatment in a good timely manner. Puppers is healing up nicely.

Please please never take your pet to this vet. They are nothing more than an extortion clinic! You can’t even see the vet its a drive up drop off get charged and find out what they did after the fact! They prescribed my dog Rimadyl and just brought it to my vehicle with my dog and didn’t give ANY instructions or precautions because as I said the vet doesn’t even see you. Rimadyl is DANGEROUS! and it taste like dog treats witch is horrible to do! I knew nothing about it until I researched it after my dog ate the whole bottle!! If I had know anything about it I would have put it where he couldn’t get to it! All I can do now if give IV fluids and hope his kidneys don’t shut down! All this because the vet refuses to actually see owners!

Have been going here for years but when I called to make an appointment I was told that we were inactive (last visit August 2019) which put us at the new patient level and they are not taking new patients. They have never been the most friendly and/or accomodating but this was downright rude. I would not recommend them to anyone but hey, they won't take you anyway.

Took my cat to be neutered, not his favorite day. Staff has always been attentive and easy to work with. Been taking my pets there for over two years now.

The vets left over an hour before their close of business, Which also left an hour gap inbetween the closest animal emergency rooms open time. Technician essentially said sorry, try your luck in Niceville at the ER which was also closed.

Always been helpful and knowledgeable . First time I went i took this little black dog my boss had brought into work . It had been run over by a car . My boss denies it was him but I suspect differently . So I got this little guy and he is in really bad shape . They looked at him and due his condition we had to go to the emergency clinic in Niceville where they took him for an extended stay. He lost a leg , took a few stitches and a lot of medication . My boss paid the bill and kept him . I think he hit him seriously . The look said it all .. yea . Lier !

The staff cares about my pets!! They are friendly and when I’ve needed a same day appointment, I got worked into the schedule. I trust them with my pets.

I have used Southside from the original beginning when Dr. Woods first opened it approximately late 1980's, more than 30 plus years. Excellent customer service, excellent vets and I will never go anywhere else. Southside rocks!

Lack of communication, poor customer service and was conned into returning for an unnecessary follow-up. When I tried to cancel I was told bloodwork needed to be done despite having told them my cat had been fine so I kept the apt. Only to find out that the vet didnt see the need to draw blood since my cat was fine.. They did absolutely nothing but waste my time and STILL charged me for a pointless visit. Will be changing vets.

I was going to change my review due to the amount of time that had passed, but after reading many recent negative reviews, that’s not going to happen. When I first started to utilize this vet it was over 7 years ago, it was the best vet within 100 miles, since then possibly due to their good name, they have rested on their laurels and decided customer service and professionalism were no longer required. Well you are wrong, I deserve your respect, but most of all my pet that cannot speak deserves it more. Your sorry so called trailer park nurses are exactly that, and the Vetrenarian that used to provide top notch care for my pets is either gone or figures that sympathetic care is no longer required. I found our permanent vet for life, Dr. Bailey, at the Country Side Animal Clinic, Opp, Alabama, it may be a little drive but “Well worth every second of the drive” southside deserves every dollar of lost income from their well deserved reviews, you have lost focus, and you will receive the lack of rewards, I don’t ever have to worry about your substandard treatment and hopefully I prevent hundreds of others from experiencing what I have through this review. Change your attitude or close your doors PERIOD!

I had an animal for 15 years. In my career, I've traveled all over and took my animals with me. They're close to members of my family. One morning I noticed one wasn't walking well. She must have had a stroke in the night. I called my regular vet and they wouldn't even take her to be euthanized. I actually hung up on them and will leave them and excellent review. Southside was great. I can't stand to see anything suffering. They were compassionate and kind. These people actually care about your animal

I have been coming to this place for years, ever since I was a child, and for the last two years they have padded pricing to squeeze every dime out of my family. You will bring your pet in for one thing and they will charge you 3x for services you didn't ask for, and they'll say they are mandatory when they are not, then turn around and try to sell their branded food. DO NOT GO HERE.

We took our dog here to establish a vet in this area. Southside had a system for Covid that was streamlined and very efficient. Dr. Ward and her staff was so kind and Dr. Ward explained what out pet needed for her cough. Our dog, Seven, is feeling much better. I highly recommend Southside Animal Hospital.

We got our dog Leo fixed and they did a great job he really likes going there and he's healing well they really love animals and I would recommend Southside to anyone who needs care for your fur babies

You get top service at this place but you better be expected to pay because it costs a lot of money it's quite expensive Good care that you pay for it

They have taken better care of my fur baby than other veterinary clinics in town. They listen and treat my little girl with care, concern, empathy, and love. Their prices are more affordable too.

Wonderful vet, they have taken such great care of our dogs. We've had two dogs pass away and both times we've used Southside. They're compassionate, thorough and we trust our animals in their care. ????

We drive up, set in car, wear mask, they take our pets and later come get them.
