Dr. Halstead is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond on every single visit. I simply wouldn't go anywhere else. I can't list the things that Dr. Halstead has done for our family that she didn't have to do. I wish there were more stars we could give!

We just started taking our dogs at Burlingame animal hospital a couple months go. With 3 dogs we have seen a couple of the vets who work their and they have all been amazing. But Dr. Halstead went above and beyond for us today. she did a cherry eye surgery on Our 6 month older Rott on a Monday and by Wednesday the stitches had bopped on one eye. After not getting a call back that day (life gets busy) I called back that Thursday at noon and she said bring him in at 1:30 and I’ll see him. So we did just that. She said leave him here and I’ll redo the surgery at no cost to you.. She didn’t have to do it for free we knew the surgery had the Potential to fail. That was the risk we took. And on top of getting us in quickly and doing it for free she ended up being there till 8 pm that night until our dog finally woke halfway up for the Anesthesia. Then proceed to give us her cell number and told us to text her in a few hours and let her know how he is. She didn’t have to give out her personal information or stay late but she did. I highly recommend Burlingame animal hospital. Thanks for doing a great job!

Dr Halstead is amazing! She always calls herself with updates and is so kind and caring! The staff is also kind and works too get you in right away when needed. I know our pets are well cared for at Burlingame Road Animal Hospital!

I always use Dr Wolfe or Dr Halstead....they are the best...they are wonderful with my furry pets and are very compassionate....

All our pets have used this facility and we appreciate the caregivers there. Dogs and cats in our family get good care and grooming with compassion.

I love how they go above & beyond the call of duty! They always call the day after any procedure to check on the pet! Dr. Wolf whom I always see always remembers all the details of my dog’s & cat’s history since she’s been treating them since they were babies. They’re 13 now! She seems to really care about my pets as if they were her own! When needed they’ve worked with me on payments as well. They’re always quick to respond to my calls & quick to check in, when I get there!

The staff and the veterinarians are concerned about the comfort and health of your family pets. They go the extra mile to accommodate a pets anxiety and keeping them safe during their visits.

I have only taken my dogs here for over a year but my experience has been wonderful. One of my abused dogs who does not do well with strangers had to get emergency eye surgery. Dr. Bradford was wonderful and easy to work with. The staff makes you feel comfortable with leaving your pets and it is easy to trust them.

We love Burlingame Animal Hospital for all of our house pets. The only place in Topeka to buy IVET pet food products exclusively.

The doctors are very thorough. I appreciate that they show you how to dispense any medicines you need to give your pet.

We have received so much care and compassion from Dr. Halstead. I just can’t thank you enough!!!

Not possible to make it better. We’re so glad we switched to Dr. Halsted. She actually listens to me and is so kind but thorough with our pets. I like that staff offered services that are due soon to save my anxious dog an extra trip.

Dr Halstead and crew were able to see our Gus on short notice and fit him in on a busy, short-staffed Saturday. They kept us well informed on his status and exceeded our expectations for his treatment. Great job and excellent customer service.

I would highly recommend Burlingame Road Animal Hospital. We have used them for almost 20 years and they have always been professional and caring when treating our dogs. The staff is friendly and the office is always clean.

I’ve been going to BRAH for over 6 years and have always had a good experience. In the past year my cat was diagnosed with two life threatening illnesses and Dr. Halstead has gone above and beyond to help me help my cat. She is not just knowledgeable and experienced, but also kind, understanding, and flexible. I can’t imagine going through this treatment process with any other vet. I am incredibly grateful to have such a trusting and capable clinic here in Topeka that strives to continue their education to make there pet services even more helpful and meaningful.

Some of the staff seem to uppity to help.

We have been taking our babies to BRAH for about five years now and we always have a great experience. Dr. Wacker is amazing and is always sure to call us whether it be to update us after a procedure, or to return our phone calls about any questions or worries we have. She is incredibly understanding and reassuring. The staff at the front desk are amazing too! They have always been so helpful and pleasant over the phone. I feel they go the extra mile at BRAH and you can really tell how much they care for your fur babies.

I do not know of anything offhand. You seem to really care for our pets!

They improved their customer service from few months ago to this date. The people in their front desk and who answer the phone are kind and willing to help customers. I like that you can schedule in advance appointments for your pets with the veterinarian of your choice. We like all of them, so we really don’t have a preference for one in particular. The entrance room is big enough to have people with their pets waiting to be called, plus people paying and/or waiting for their pets to be picked up. The place is always clean. The only con is that sometimes we would require a more extended time like other places that close at 8 but a pro is that they are opened on Saturdays too.

This hospital has done a great job taking care of our little Yorkie, Zoey. We have been going here for years and they've always treated our baby like family. Thank you!

I have a rescue dog with very specific needs. She is paralyzed with fear at the vet and just can't move. All the staff at Burlingame Road Animal Hospital were so kind and patient with her. I thought they'd have to sedate her to groom her, but they got her bathed and brushed without sedation. And thank God we took her in; during her initial exam, they discovered a large tumor we had not seen because it was hidden by her big fluffy tail and her fluffy "skirts". She is scheduled for surgery to have it removed. Whew.

Dr Wolfe has done great with my babies. I have a Bichon who has medical problems and Dr Wolfe has been great with her.

Staff was quick to respond the next day, after having requested an appointment online the previous evening. While I was there, staff was extremely kind to my cat and very respectful to me. Dr. Hartford was so gentle with my cat and was a wonderful person to talk to! Will be returning and recommending.
