Dr. Atherton has always been a great doctor to our dogs! I want to add that we are almost always able to get in on short notice, and he has always been professional.

Dr Atherton is the only one i trust to take care of my bunnies.

Never go to this clinic they are very rude, apparently they are making the laws now you need a mask soon they will ask about vaccine. KS doesn't have a mask mandate, even if you are "private" you make money with public, with us. The people, maybe you should lose your business, I will make sure about that. Very interesting beginning of this month I been in your clinic and I didn't need a mask, also just been to another vet , clinic and nobody told me to wear a mask, for less than 5 min when no one was there you could give me the meds, but you chose to make a big deal with the mask. I do not wish to do business with your clinic and I will like to have my dogs records.

Dr.Atherton is very knowledgeable about animal care! The staff is great, also. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Atherton and his staff are, put simply, excellent examples of human beings. I have been going to them for 7 years. I wrote a review 7 years ago on another website when he treated my cat for a broken leg. He was the only vet in the area who would perform orthopedic surgery on her leg. He was very reasonably priced compared to K-State (the next closest place that offered the surgery) and he saved my cat's life and her leg. Over the years, I have recommended him to everyone I know. My own parents started taking their dog to him as soon as they moved to Kansas. Yesterday, my kitty's life came to an end. He and his staff were so incredibly understanding and kind to me during a very difficult decision. Dr. Atherton is very upfront and realistic about our pets. I wouldn't have it any other way. I hope they never, ever close their doors, and I hope they know that they are doing an excellent job.

I drive in from Colorado Springs just to visit Dr Atherton. He is the only doctor that I trust with my fur babies.

Since we moved to Salina four years ago, Dr. Atherton has taken care of our little dog. Today he showed compassion, care, and concern as we had to say good bye to our sweet little girl. Thank you Dr. Atherton for everything you did for her.

Confident my cat/ companion gets loving care

This is the best place to take your dog/cat for any kind of care! This doctor is fantastic and his pricing is reasonable!

Although this is not my regular vet, I would highly recommend them. Our cat was very sick and our regular vet couldn't get him in. Atherton Veterinary was able to get me in that afternoon! Unfortunately, our cat had developed FIP, and there wasn't anything that could be done to save him. We were treated with compassion when we had to put Oscar down. It was also a very reasonable bill as well.

Excellent pet care with very helpful and loving staff!!

David Atherton has cared for 2 cats and 2 dogs for me. He has been excellent at all areas of care and prolonged the life for all 4 pets. I trust his judgement and really appreciate all that he has done for us.
