First I have a fabulous Shih Tzu & if you are hypnotized by the breed then you will understand, they are adorable, loyal, loving & strong headed, "stubborn?" Here is where the true scoop on Chelley, our groomer comes in...she is the best! Max is only 1 yr. & 1 mo. old, so he is super hyper and she along with her staff have magic ✨ to handle Max. You can tell how caring & loving she is with her animals. She is AMAZING! And Max always looks perfect & Shih Tzu fresh. Max LOVES her too. I am very blessed to have someone that is soooo great with him. Chelley if you leave Tomahawk you MUST let Max know, he will follow you! ???????????? I could not have a better groomer for my angel, Maximilian Marshall.

I am very happy with the service and staff. Only place I take my pups.

They are spectacular with our Westie. Love it when he gets a haircut!!! And they make sure he is up to date with everything!!!

They know my dog by name they know me it's kind of nice to have a vet veterinarian that is very polite and courteous.

Donot take your kitty here. Bad ladies. So disappointed in your lack for help. ????????????

Super good for animal hodpital

I have been taking family dogs here for almost two decades and have never had an issue with anyone who worked there. Truly one of the family businesses

The groomer Shelly does a wonderful job with my dogs grooming. Staff is kind as well.

After doctoring at Tomahawk for 10 years, we unfortunately were given the wrong medicine for our dog. We administered the wrong medicine given to us for two weeks, which ultimately resulted in our senior dog spending 6 days in the ICU at the animal hospital. Tomahawk reimbursed us for many of the expenses and things in our home that were ruined (furnishings) as a result of our dog being severely ill. We changed vets and would never trust our animals under Tomahawk’s care ever again. Their practice of dispensing medicine is careless and cost our family over $6,000, and even more valuable, our time and so much heartache over contemplating the loss of our senior dog. I cannot trust this vet and cannot recommend that anyone trust them after this careless mistake.

I have been a client of Tomahawk Animal Hospital for over 20 years and would not take my pets anyplace else! The entire staff always provides outstanding service & care. Over the years I have had several pets and no matter what I needed, vaccines, health concerns (golden retriever allergies are the worst!), emergency surgery, they were there. Dr. Krause and Melissa specifically, have been like family and have always treated my pets and I like members of theirs. A++++ !!!

Low prices and great doctors

My two Shih Tzu’s are no fan of the vet, but Tomahawk does a great job with them. Prices are competitive and reasonable and the staff is outstanding. The boys have seen several vets over the years but Tomahawk is by far the best. Can not recommend them enough for your animals!

So to be totally honest -- this happened last year. Took my cats here for years and received great care. Then Dr. Boyette retired. I called to get an appointment for a cat with renal disease who was eating less and less. I was offered a same day appointment and after confirming that this wasn't an emergency visit, which wasn't needed, took the cat in to see Dr. Kraus. The doctor seemed extremely harried and was visibly angry during most of the visit. I could tell from his initial demeanor that this had been presented as an emergency and I apologized, even offered to bring the cat back on a different day because he seemed so busy and very, very upset. He proceeded to examine her roughly - I had to tell him four times that she had severe arthritis in her hind legs before he started to calm down. He was unable to do much; told me to make an appointment to have her sedated for blood work (which she has never needed before) and to have a conversation about other ways to get her eating again. I was billed at the emergency fee for an unnecessary visit that I hadn't wanted. We use a different vet now.

I have taken my dogs here for more than 20 years, and have been satisfied every time.

My animals have been coming here for years, great vets and staff. They are all very nice and informative, and genuinely care about their patients. One of my dogs has been having the laser therapy treatments and WOW what a difference! He wasn’t able to stand on his own and now he’s up and running around! If your animals have had an injury or arthritis, definitely try the laser treatments. Plus, the goggles are pretty cute ????

The best animal hospital I have ever been to The customer service is simply exquisite The veterinarian came out to our car during the pandemic and was very thorough in his exam. We really appreciate them making accommodations to make all of us feel safe including our furry friends! Their prices are very affordable. We will definitely keep going here!

We take our dogs here for the vet as well as for grooming and occasionally for boarding. Their prices are fair and their staff is excellent. Our dogs always seem to be treated well.
