I had the worst experience with the overnight staff. These people care about nothing but money and that is sick especially when our pets are having an emergency.

My little Yorkie has a painful dislocated hip. This happened on Friday evening. I took her to Mission Vet Emergency on Saturday morning. They took her vitals and then we waited three hours to see the doctor. She informed me I had to pay the full amount of all services because they don’t offer any payment arrangements. After X-rays and hip treatment the cost would be near $1000. I live on a disability check and I only had less than $100. They sent us home with pain meds for three days and took every cent I had. My little dog received no treatment other than her vitals and I walked out completely broke until next month. What kind of emergency service is that? They take my money but didn’t do anything to heal my little dog. Now she has to suffer until my next disability check which comes in a month. This is what people have become.

This place is a mixed bag. Several years ago I had a terrible experience because the vet didn’t even speak to me and a tech told me in the waiting room that my cat was “going to get cancer and die.” More recently I had a good experience. Dr. Boyle was fantastic. Our dog got into something she should not have and had to stay the night. Dr. Boyle was extremely kind, good at communicating, and just all around a good chap. But still, some of the desk staff seem like they can’t be bothered and I think two employees just rolled a cart with either a sedated or dead (head was covered) dog through the hallway on a cart in plain view of the waiting room. It’s good when you need it I guess.

Really appreciate them being there in a clutch. My cat was vomiting every 30 minutes throughout the night, and I stayed up until 5AM looking for anyone thats open. Im so glad I came across Mission. Everyone was so kind, and yes we did have to wait but it was all worth it. They made me feel safe in my choices, which I thankfully had, in the procedures that they recommended. She is home now and feeling a ton better. Thank you so much to your entire staff!

Mission MedVet is always our place to go for emergency veterinary care. They understand our pets are family and treat them with the best medical care they can provide.

i checked several places before bringing in my dog. not many places are open Sunday. this place immediately made an appointment after a brief chat. i didn't have to wait outside or sit in a queue. my dog wasnt dying but i had to get the issue resolved. they took closer care of her, she was dehydrated, she stayed over night, and they were calm. i would go back for my pet emergency needs.

The whole staff was amazing. Really helpful and caring. Above and beyond on helping our puppy and working with us on the treatment and payment. Im indebted to them for helping me and my animal at an crisis time . excellent place. Cannot say enough great things

Our pet was seen for a complicated issue. The hospital was very busy but we were treated courteously and skillfully.

So glad to have this option on a holiday weekend. Staff was so professional and attentive. Yes of course it took some time but was well worth it. Fully explained what was going on with our Kitty and she's very blessed to be feeling a lot better. Great option if you unfortunately need it.

Dr Wilson was phenomenal. The staff was equally as amazing. They took really good care of our Clover girl before, during and after her surgical procedure. Communication was excellent. Everyone was friendly and wore smiles. We are happy we found them and would not hesitate to go back or refer family and friends!

Our dog got into something he was not suppose to on Christmas. We were very thankful for the entire team here. After speaking to Dr.Gomez who was polite and friendly, she informed us It would be best to stay the night as a precaution to monitor him. They even have visiting hours in the evening so we could check up on our little guy. He was discharged the next day happy and healthy. Thank you so much! I saw some previous comments about being it expensive, good and “cheap” do not co-exist with each other. The facility is like a just like a trauma center but for your pet. you get what you pay which is top notch equipment, care and service. Thanks again for saving our little dumb dog!

My husband and I are very impressed with our experience at Mission Vet ER. The receptionist Katy was very friendly when we called. Check in process was simple. Dr. Gomez was straight to the point with treatment for our golden retriever. Dr. Wilson called after surgery and explained everything. He was very nice and also called the next day regarding how she was feeling and about discharge. We did call twice in her 24 hr stay to check on her and both nurses were nice and you could tell they both cared about our dog. Thank you to the entire staff and team that cared for our baby.

I like the service I got yesterday they were really nice of my puppy who is seven months old they treated her like royalty and they’re inexpensive I liked it so much how they had their office and they always offered us coffee or something to drink while we waited for a Princess

Our dog had a nasty cut and we couldn’t get the bleeding to stop. They were able to get him in right away and treat the injury. They did a good job. They were all profess and friendly. They all appeared to know what they were doing too. My only complaint was around the discharge. We were told to be by around a specific time, which we were and then it took an extra hour to get us squared away for our bill, than an additional hour to get our dog. I had to ask multiple times for updates. The response was they were very busy and would get to it then they were able.

An amazing team of professionals who have the expertise and experience to handle a pet emergency and do it with compassion. We are so fortunate to have Mission Veterinary Emergency & Specialty in our community!

The staff were very friendly, and took great care of my dog. They kept me up to date on what was happening with her in patient stay and explained the situation very well. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and can’t thank them enough for taking care of my dog!

We are so thankful for this emergency vet. They helped us on Christmas Day despite being busy. They explained everything so well, were patient with us and cared for our dog like their own. We can’t thank all of the staff enough for saving our Max!

For the holidays, man let me tell you!. First off the front staff was superheros. It was like dealing with a pet apocalypse. Everyone's pet got into something!!! *my story* My aunt had my grandmother and chico. Now usually chico is a jumpy happy go lucky dog... my cousin save him from thr streets in Cali and he never had to look back we love chico!. But this particular day, he vomited twice, wouldn't even jump upon my leg let alone he was so lethargic I swear he was just going drop dead.. I called around and everyone was booked and I was directed to mission. They were getting the overflow of the city. It was of course 3 hours. But the Dr was helpful and listened (even though you could tell on his face he was dang near done for.) But he gave me two options and I tried one and now chico is back to his normal overactive self. Love my little guy and am grateful for their time!. Thanks M.V.E.S!

The girls at the front desk were the very best they were very friendly take my information right away I couldn’t expect any better the doctor Jessica Gomez I don’t know if she just doesn’t like people or maybe she was upset she had to work on Christmas but she was arrogant I’m assuming because she’s young and have not been doing this very long she was rude and would not explain anything to me other than using big words for the procedures which explains her insecurity and arrogance. If they have other doctors there I would request them definitely do not go see Jessica Gomez. I give her Zero stars

I had an emergency with my 9yr old Minhpin on Christmas Day. I called my vet and the recording recommended this emergency vet. I had to call twice to get an answer but they gave me wait time as well as when and what to do. My baby had an eye injury and there was an optometrist on site. He had surgery and they saved my babies eye. Quite pricey though. But what can you do on a major holiday. This place was so busy. Busy. Busy. But thank you for your help.

I've only been here a few times, and they have always been so professional and proactive. This place is probably the best emergency vet experiences I've had, for any of my animal emergency experiences. A few years ago when we had to put our dog down due to cancer complications , they were very comforting and put her down in such a peaceful way. They even gave us a death certificate and a really nice cremation container for her ashes. This place really cares for your animals and its customers!
