Terrible experience. Purchased a new puppy over the past weekend. Took her to the vet today for a follow up and because she is sick. When we purchased her they gave us paperwork and said we could submit a claim for her vet bill. Well we called Household Pet Protection they are no longer in business and the phone number is not even the correct phone number. The store was contacted and now when we try to call back we are blocked. We love the puppy but should of had to pay $1800 for a dog that is sick. No deal here! Would not recommend them.

Aquarium items are very over priced. Found a heater that was double the other stores. When returning the over priced item the guy was very rude.

I have visited many times in the past. For a local store, they have a robust amount of services and they have good knowledge. Although “polished” would not be the first word to come to mind, “charm” is! I mainly go for fresh or salt water aquatics. They are chatty and helpful - like a local place - you get to know people over time and they remember you. I had one instance where a fish purchase had complications - without a second tank to separate fish, they checked my water and troubleshooted with me on the phone and in person. They even came to an arrangement for replacement after discussion without prompting as an act of good faith!

Definitely one of the last hidden gems of the animal supply stores that are locally owned. They have items your box stores dont have. Great amount of supplies and truly dedicated pet supply.

Finding a groomer that will tackle a great Pyrenees is amazing. Finding one that will do both of them on the same day is a miracle. The dogs always look great and smell better. The staff is super friendly and HELPFUL. I don't have to go looking for anyone, they are just good people.

For aquarium-related projects, they had a great selection, service and knowledge! Both of the ppl I talked to were very helpful and answered all my questions, including asking me questions to make sure I got what I needed. Can't confirm, but they might be a few pennies pricier than your average PetSmart, but for the quality you get from their products and team, absolutely worth it.

This place is really over priced the fish are nice but not $50 for a quarter sized cichlid they also have signs posted telling you theres no refund or garentee on aggressive fish. the tanks that they hold all there fish in a in real bad shape, the mineral build up and empty tanks with debris. over half the fish have nothing in the bottom of the tank .They also have a large black container in the back with koi half the time there's 3 or 4 floating when you walk in the door there a smell I see most of there same merchandise at pets smart for half the price they have it posted .

Awsome knowledgeable staff my wife and I were visiting the area and are always looking for local pet stores so we stopped in the young staff was helpful and really nice they asked questions about our fish tanks as we were looking at the fish. They helped my wife find some fish to round out a tank she has been working on taking note of the fish that are currently in the tank. It was nice to get the personal service and attention and the fish they recommended were not expensive fish just the right fish for her tank .

It's a small store. It's pricey $$$$. Finding parking is difficult. They have pond fish, fresh water, and saltwater fish. They have small animal, cat, dog, and reptile supplies as well. Not everything is well marked.

I go here for all my aquatic supplies and always have a great experience. The employees are knowledgeable, take the time to explain and answer questions, and care genuinely about the well-being of the fish. The fish are priced very reasonably. They have a wide variety of freshwater and saltwater fish, plants, and saltwater anemones/plants.

i bought a tank from pet smart about 3 months ago, i set it up everything was fine. i was waiting for it to cycle, because that’s what the people here told me to do. i did everything they told me to do, got my water tested until it was ready, bought two goldfish from them, they survived until i added algae fix, to solve my green water algae problem, which one guy recommended to me and said “it won’t hurt your fish” and after three doses, following the instructions, all of my fish are dead in the tank. so i don’t know if that was just a bad recommendation, since all the reviews i see now on it say that it also killed their fish. it might not be their fault that it killed my fish, but don’t recommend that to me when it’s harmful. i asked if it was and they said “ no it’s not harmful they should be fine” i’m very upset and angry because i wanted my fish to live and to watch them die over a week time sucks.

Do not buy your rats from here, the rats are not taken care of like they should, they are kept in a glass tank which isn't good enough ventilation as well as their pee has ammonia and that will build up and give them respiratory problems. There are too many rats in that one tank and it lacks stimulating activities and climbing space. They should be in a cage with actual healthy care and stimulating activities.

Absolutely love their set up! There is a wide variety of both salt and fresh water fish. Lots of different foods for pets. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my dogs here for about 10 years. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. They even solved a daycare issue for me. My boy goes 3 times a week and LOVES it here. I get his food and snacks here and the staff has always been spot on with any recommendations for him. They have more than competitive pricing on items for my dog and my Water Dragon and much easier to navigate than a big box store.
