The only place I found around here that have someone on duty 24/7. I didn't want my fur baby to be in her kennel for hours with no one being there, so I'm extremely happy I found this place!

My dog loves this place. Love that the pups are not in cages at night and a human is there 24/7.

The drop off and pick up procedure was very easy. The staff were easy to work with getting everything lined up. They have cameras to view your animals while they are in their care. It appeared to have a good split of inside Time and outside. The only reason for a lack of five stars, is that my dog came home with an upset stomach for a couple days. Not 100% what caused it but this is not normal for him.

My dog was boarded at Pawz at Play from July 3rd - July 11th while my husband and I were on our honeymoon. At no point in time were we ever told there was a confirmed case of kennel cough. After talking with some other dog parents, people who picked up on July 5th were notified of a confirmed case from that weekend. Why wasn’t I? They had several ways to contact both us and our emergency contacts. Then when I called to ask about any cases of kennel cough the morning of July 12th, I was LIED to and told there were no confirmed cases in July. The moment we got in the car from Pawz, my husband and I noticed our dog was breathing differently than normal and he cough/sneezed once. We tried to chalk it up to allergies from being around so many dogs for 8 days, but he quickly went downhill. By the time we were able to take him to the vet less than 24 hours later, he wasn’t even lifting his head to drink, had thick snot constantly running from his nose, could barely walk to the car, and we couldn’t keep the goop out of his eyes. That is not the way first 24 hours of kennel cough goes according to our vet. I spoke with the owner who told me again and again that they have protocols for this and Ed’s coughing and breathing in the car might have been the first signs or symptoms. She also told me that it’s like a child getting strep at school and the school won’t do anything about it and you’ll still have medical bills on top of your school expenses. I’m sorry, but the school notifies you when a child in your child’s class has a contagious illness. Better than a sign posted out front that warns of the chance of exposure to disease. Especially now in the time of Covid. If a school was lying to their parents about what kinds of illnesses were being passed around a classroom, they would be on regional or even national news. But, apparently at Pawz, that’s how they operate. I will never again take my dog to this establishment and will warn every other dog parent I know. It’s one thing for my dog to contract kennel cough while boarded. It’s another for it to be severe and unreported, and then be lied to about cases at the facility.

We take our 2 puppies to Pawz at Play whenever we can’t take them with us. They give great attention and care to every pet there. They genuinely and clearly love these animals in trust in their care. We LOVE that they have cageless boarding. Puppies have their own space at meal and snack time, but beyond that, they are free to play, to chill or to snuggle with the wonderful staff.

I take my dog here maybe once every other week for daycare and he loves it. They take good care of him here and the cameras are a great feature, letting me log in to see what he's up to. Their hours for daycare are great and accommodating for work schedules. Prices aren't too bad, I would say about mid-range in comparison to other facilities in the area. My very energetic dog is always tired and sleeps most of the evening and through the night once he gets home.

I've taken both my overactive German Shepherd and my laid back Labrador and each one loves Pawz at Play. They always have fun and it's neat that the folks who look after the dogs give you a progress report like what they spent their day doing or who their favorite play companion was. The live cameras give me an extra piece of mind that my dog is safe and being well taken care of. The way they let the dogs sleep out in the open is perfect for my dog because he hates kennels. It's just an all around perfect fit for us and we highly recommend Pawz at Play for anyone looking for daycare, grooming or boarding. Everything is reasonably priced and overall a great place.

Pawz at Play is TOO GOOD TO US! When we had to leave town unexpectedly and didn't have a return date, they were flexible and made sure we knew our pups were in good hands. The staff is proactive, professional, and cares deeply for the animals they care for. They communicate with our vet and even took our dogs in for an appointment when they got sick while boarded, keeping them separately to make sure other dogs were safe. Most importantly, my dogs LOVE going there. I am grateful to have found Pawz!

They do a good job of caring for our dogs and they love going there in the morning. The people that work there are very friendly as well.

We use to take our lab here for boarding. We alerted the team that she has seizures and how to handle hers. Every single time we took her she would have seizures. On one boarding session, I noticed my dog's face was rubbed raw. Upon asking about it, the worker informed us that she had a seizure earlier in the weekend and they decided to kennel her the rest of the time for her "safety". Sadly, our dog's seizure medication was given to another dog during one visit as well. We close this location for its kennel free boarding and from the recommendations on here. The cameras are nice but extremely low quality which makes it difficult to find your dog. The report cards they gave us for our dog weren't even close to her personality and didn't even follow what we saw on the cameras. We've since gone elsewhere with high quality cameras, fewer dogs, decreasing the over stimuli, and resulting in far fewer seizures. Our dog is far happier at our new place than she ever was here.

this place is nice and my family's dog always seems to have a nice time. i appreciate the cameras lots, especially when it can VERY clearly display my dog getting sprayed directly in the face by one of the room attendants, i assume the spray bottles are typically for trying to move dogs out of the way but my dog was just standing there in an open area. and got sprayed, will definitely be bringing this up upon pick up :)). plus the dozens of times i've looked at the cameras & seen workers on their phones, just standing around not really doing much. oh well.

I’ve bounced around from kennel to kennel in the Kansas City area and this one is BY FAR the most organized, clean, and loving daycare I have been to. Cindy (the owner) is incredibly thorough, sweet and truly cares about the well being of the dogs. The staff is knowledgeable and always on top of notes about eating habits, behavioral issues and overall health and happiness of the pet. Plus, you get the cutest report cards about how your dogs day/stay went. 10/10

Rocky has attended this daycare for two years and loves it. The staff is cheerful and makes you feel like your dog is their favorite! My wife loves the daily reports sent home detailing your dogs' activity. Rocky must be enjoying himself because he always comes home "dog" tired! When we board Rocky, we have no concerns and feel he's in good hands. They also have a camera system, so we can watch him remotely too. During overnight stays, my wife has called to check on him in the past and either speaks to someone, or gets a call back. Great service, we highly recommend this business!

Not sure what actually happened while boarding for 3 nights but my GSD came home with a completely different personality. Full bearing of teeth and growling to the infants which he has never done before from when he was a puppy to now... Extremely lethargic. He's been boarded at other places (also crateless/cageless-just no availability for days I needed) and this never happened.

My dog loves this place. She goes most days to the day care program. The people are all so great with her and truly love what they do. It's the best if you are looking for a place fo leave your pet that will give them the attention they deserve.

We were going on a 6 day vacation and our plans for our babies fell through. I chose Pawz at Play because of the cageless boarding and I couldn't be happier. They require a two hour "trial" to test the temperament of all new clients which I appeciate. When we returned from vacation my babies were so happy to see me and I could tell they felt right at home while they were there and I was able to get them groomed the day I got back so they were clean and sweet. I fully expected to get the cold shoulder for leaving them but I never saw any indications that they didn't have the time of their lives. I would definitely take them back for all my grooming or boarding needs. They love my babies almost as much as I do.

Cindy and the staff are wonderful and very nice. They are always accommodating with last minute requests and flexible to help out. My husky/German Shepherd absolutely loves to come here and is always tired when she comes home from a long day of playing. She is always excited and eager to go back. These guys are truly great!

Dog seemed to have fun, the staff filled out a "report card" with all the fun stuff she did, however dog came home with KENNEL COUGH. Only boarded her here once, not planning on doing it again.

Our dog, Zoey, always looks forward to her 1x/week at Pawz at Play. She is always tail-wagging at the end of the day too, until she gets in the car and promptly falls asleep. I wish their cameras were easy to watch. I often try to log in only to see still images of pups doing fun things, but it would be great to see a live video!
