Every staff member we talked to was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! We lucked out that a short notice stay was available! And even our scaredy-dog did well there! I would give them 6 stars if I could!

The disconnect of communication of policies throughout the facility from owner to staff made itself very apparent today. My 10 month old GSD has been going there for a couple months. He is still intact due to the recommendation of my vet and numerous breeders in the area, until he is 2. He has spent numerous days there in daycare. He’s spent up to 6 days in boarding AND he’s been groomed. Not once has anyone informed me, until today, that he cannot attend because he’s not neutered. This is extremely frustrating, as I had very specific reasons to get him established into a place he could go a couple times a week once I return to work next week. I even bought a daycare punch card, and the only reason I’m giving two stars is because they refunded me for the prepaid card. Edited to add: I was never once questioned about it no one ever commented about it and he had been there multiple times and even groomed. It’s Hard to believe that the staff there didn’t know. They just either chose not to say anything to me until the owner found out or maybe didn’t know the policy. But in any case guess who gets screwed, me and Max.

If you want to have your dogs "butchered" this is where you go.

Horrible experience here with the first time ever having to kennel my puppy while on vacation. They were so unorganized when I dropped her off. I scheduled 3 half days of doggy daycare while I was gone for 5 days. When I got back to pick her up, they COULDNT FIND HER!!!!! It took 6 people to find my puppy. Then they tried to charge me for 3 full days of doggy daycare. And on top of that…she was injured while in their care and not one person ever tried calling me. Please don’t take your precious fur babies to this nightmare of a place!!!!!

Mistakes happen, Summit Pet Care handled it perfectly! During a recent kennel visit I requested our dog Josie be placed in daycare for 2 days. When I picked her up it was discovered that she in-fact had not received daycare... I was super sad I hated the thought of her missing playtime with her friends.. this could've ended badly with me feeling apprehensive about returning. But the way the staff handled it was amazing they were very sympathetic, I received a phone call and a card apologizing and offering make up daycare sessions:) we have used Summit Pet care for years and have always been extremely satisfied with the service and the staff. I would definitely recommend Summit

If there were 10 ⭐️ They’d get them ALL!! SPC has been a life saver for my G-doodle pup & I. EVERY one from the owner & staff have HEART! They love & understand animals. I TRUST them with my (4 legged) kid !!! We also switched to using their Groomers too. We have CONSISTENTLY gotten EXCELLENT haircuts!! 5 for 5 on FANTASTIC grooming results. I’m picky too!! The counselors are always happy to see my boy & Auggie is ALWAYS up for a “daycare day”! SPC is our home away from home & we LOVE them!!

I have been going here for over 13 years. Their passion and care for my dogs is amazing. My new pup Winchester wags his tail at the door every morning when he knows he gets to play at Summit pet care. As a parent of a furry Kid I love their holiday parties and birthday parties best place to take your dog to play and be safe

The grooming and boarding services here are first class! They always treat our pup like family, and are so sweet and welcoming with him and his BIG personality =)

My rat terrier had her toenails done for the first time. The staff was super friendly. We walked in and they took her right away. It only took a couple of minutes and we were on our way home. I will always continue to take her to Summit Pet Care.

Dr. Bokman is the best veterinarian in the world as far as we are concerned. We have taken our animals to him for over 25 years and I hope he never retires.

The dog groomers are the best money can buy

I drive all the way from Blue Springs to have our bubba taken care of by them. Absolutely wonderful staff!

They weren't wearing masks correctly or at all. The vet had their mask around their neck the entire visit and one of the receptionists didn't have her nose covered. Other than that, everything was great and the kitties have their vaccines.

Just visiting for our new puppy health check. Great care and lots of time with the pup.
