I don't normally do reviews but this has to be done. Dr. Sisler is kind, and knowledgeable, and thorough with examination and explanation. I came in worried out of my mind and talking so much because of a terrible experience and everyone in this office instantly made me feel like it was going to be okay. This office would get 10 stars if I could! I left feeling like everything was going to be okay and I hadn't had that feeling since before Dec 6. The Tech, Front Desk Secretary, Doctor, all amazing! Thank you!

Very caring and friendly staff. Dr. Steve is extremely professional and takes time to explain the procedures and medications. This is the place to go if your pet has an eye problem.

The staff were amazing and the doctor took his time to explain the issue and great detail and helped us through a very difficult situation. They were able to diagnose and operate on our dog within the same day.

Had an eye problem with one of our Boston Terriers. After repeated visits to Lakewood Veterinary and hundreds of dollars, they finally referred us to Eye Care for Animals. Wish we had done so earlier to save lots of time and money, but better late than never. The doctor immediately diagnosed and treated the problem (not cheap either, but...) and went back for the two week follow up. The doctor treated our dog again for the same issue not being OK with the first procedure. No charge for the second visit. Hopefully our Boston will heal completely come two more weeks from now, nonetheless, we are impressed with their knowledge and procedures.

So professional and so kind. I could tell my dog was excited to see them. My 8 year old corgi was having problems with his eye and our original vet kept giving him useless eyes drops. Took our baby here and his eye healed up in weeks with a little surgery and eye drops that worked. My baby is much happier now! Also they have a hotline! I called one time at midnight and they were able to help me.

My little dog Odie had his first eye exam with Dr. Steven Sisler. Odie is only 2 years old but I had my worries when I saw changes in his eyes. Dr. Sisler was very kind, professional, and explained everything in detail. I am relieved to know how Odie's eyes are doing. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend to other pet owners.

Their excellent staff took great care of my pug. Saved her left eye after a thorn ruptured it.

The doctor was great & thorough.

We took our lab in for an eyelid 'tumor'. Was a scary thing but these doctors took great care of us. A couple of months later and the dog is 100% recovered

My dog and I only visited this place three times before she passed away. ???? Though we were new to the Lee's Summit location, I received a heartwarming sympathy card in the mail after my dog passed away. It really provided me with some comfort during this period of grief. Thank you! ❤❤

Caring professional staff. Over the years I've had 2 fur babies that needed their help.

One of my current dogs had a mass on his third eyelid. Over a decade ago in another state I had a dog that had a similar issue that ended up being squamous cell that spread to the brain. It was misdiagnosed twice, once by a vet school, and only when I went to an eye specialist did we realize, too late, what was occurring. You get what you pay for sometimes and our current dog with the the tumor just underwent surgery with Dr. Hunkeler. I have to say how extremely happy and relieved I am with the outcome of the surgery. There is something to be said for peace of mind and this Dr obviously is an expert that pays attention to detail. I have to say, for my peace of mind, the caring staff, and the results so far, it was worth the money.
