The dr and staff are so caring Had to take our 14 yr old doggie in on emergency he was crying in pain and couldn't walk. The saddest news was given and we had to send him to doggie heaven. The Dr was so caring Thank you Chipman rd animal hospital

I have been very happy with Chipman Animal Clinic. Have been going there since about 1996. There are less expensive Veterinarians, but they are still reasonable and can perform most any procedure needed for your pets. They do not work with large farm animals and horses I believe they're just not set up for these services.

The doctors and staff are very caring and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

Web site says they take walk ins and open till 7:30. Got there at 7 with my dog who was in heart failure and they would not help me.

A while ago I took my 3 y/o dog her because he had a constant nosebleed. They ran test and sent off blood work. They said they would call either me or my fiancé with the results. Well here we are almost a month later and still no call. I reach out to see if the results have come back and to my surprise they’ve had the results since August 28th! Neither i or my fiancé was notified. The doctor would try to downplay it and just say yea we dropped the ball. Sorry. Sorry does not cut it here because there could’ve been really important information in those results. Luckily my instincts told me to try another vet which was Overland Park Veterinary Emergency and Specialty. They have way more resources, friendly and informative staff, and amazing service (10/10). Highly disappointed and will not be coming to this vet again. I used to recommend them but that will end.

I took my 10 week old puppy here after a bad fall. He was acting okay but I was so scared something was wrong with him internally that I couldn’t see. I live in north Independence and my usual vet wasn’t able to see us. I called Chipman road animal clinic and they were able to get him in right away. Thankfully my puppy was fine, he’s just going to be a little sore, but the veterinarian who assisted him was so kind and thorough and made me feel so much better about the whole thing. I am very thankful to her and the whole staff for their assistance.

Had a bit of an emergency & wanted to go to a clinic that was closer to home than my veterinarian's office. So, I took my kitty to Chipman Road Animal Clinic as a walk-in, after she was stung by an angry bee. They took very good care of her and we were both very comfortable with the staff. Hopefully there won't be any more emergencies, but if there are I will definitely bring my girls here! As well as spread the word about how welcoming & great our experience was. Thank you ????

I've lived in missouri for about 3 years. I have a 12 year old dog that had the same vet for 9 of those years. I never thought I would find a better veterinarian then they one we lost upon moving to Mo. However we have found a vet that we trust and love to care for our dog even more the our previous vet. I give them 5 stars for their service.

You’re gonna wait at least 2 hours to be seen but they have fair prices

This was our first visit to Chipman Road Animal Clinic. We brought our injured Aussie and they were kind, caring and promptly addressed his needs. The clinic was clean and welcoming. We were impressed. We will be back... (hopefully only for wellness checks ????)

Always have to wait way too.long after you are in the exam room. Gets hot, doors closed, pup gets hot and nervous. Should let us wait in lobby until doc is ready! Very uncomfortable.

Took both dogs here. They routinely lost their records! I had to get vet records transferred 4 or 5 times. When I finally gave up and got a new vet, Chipman road animal clinic FALSIFIED RABIES VACCINE RECORDS FOR BOTH DOGS and showed they were vaccinated when they never received vaccines that day. This caused mass confusion for us and our new vet. Both dogs lapsed on their rabies vaccine because of the falsified vet records. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone and plan to take this to the veterinarian board or whomever is in charge of things like this.

We have been taking our pups to Chipman Road Animal Clinic for over 15 years. We first met Dr. Cook early on when our 1st poodle broke her rear leg. She was so caring and our girls leg gave her no problems for the rest of her life. We have had many procedures done over the years. We are now on poodle number 2. We also trust Dr. Holt explicitly. She performs many of the surgeries. Most recently vaccinations, teeth cleaning and tooth extraction. We feel very comfortable seeing any of the veterinarians. Truly a great place to take your pet.

My dog needed vaccinations so he could get boarded and I tried so many places that had no appointments available but I was able to walk in here waited less than 10 minutes and already called back into a room everybody was super nice the waiting room was amazing and it was just all around a good experience. This Clinic is about an hour away from where I live but it was well worth the drive.

Proper testing of my one pet that I took there was not done.

Originally from KC, we have lived out-of-state many years now. Coming back for vacations and long-term visits with animals that had specialty medical needs, it was a blessing to land on and choose Chipman Road. I find them efficient, thorough, and caring.
