If it were possible to rate this clinic and their staff higher than 5 stars, I would. My dog, Midnight, passed today due to a quick and aggressive cancer. Dr. Cason and the staff were enormously supportive. Midnight always received high quality care, and it is clear that this clinic truly cares about not only pets, but their owners as well. Thank you all very much for allowing Midnight to pass peacefully while surrounded by her loved ones. ????

Not at impressed with your customer service! Reception girl was outright rude, what's going on with customer service?The Vet doctors are always kind and considerate, but bad receptionist? It's not worth it! If you have a mask rule put it on the entrance! Don't be rude if someone doesn't have a mask, inform your policies and say thank you. Bad day? We all have our bad days but please, don't take it out on me! Will not use your facility again my wife might but I will not. Very very upset!!! I have cancer but I am not angry at people for having pain all the time! I'm a Veteran and don't appreciate being treated with no respect. I do respect, pls manners!

Dr. Kissinger is the most compassionate, empathetic vet. She helped us through one of the most difficult days of our lives when we had to put our sweet dog to rest, and she cried right along with us the entire time. If you want someone who will love and care about your babies, take them to Dr. Kissinger. —————— Our cat was extremely lethargic and we took him to a different clinic in town. The vet wasn't even able to get his temperature because he was "too difficult" and sent us home with no answers, some pain pills, and a huge bill. After giving him the pills that night, he woke up the next day even worse. We then took him to Dr. Jarrett who was wonderful! She realized he was difficult, but didn't send us home because of it. She figured out the problem and gave our cat exactly what he needed at a reasonable price. She never tried to push products/foods on us (even when I asked, she said what we were using was fine), she and her staff were very helpful and nice, and she healed our cat quickly! We will continue to go to Dr. Jarrett for all of our veterinary needs.

They got me in right away when I called and let them know that my kitty was peeing blood they took really good care of her and now she feels a lot better.

I went to drop off my dog in the morning to get her teeth cleaned. They told me they had to run an $80 blood test to clean her teeth because she was 10 years old. I told them if they have to run the test then I will just get her teeth cleaned elsewhere. They said forget about the test and took my dog. I picked her up in the afternoon and the $80 charge was there. When I mentioned that I would not be paying the charge they called me a hustler and called the police! And they told me they would take me to collections for the $80 charge. I also got a trespassing warning for picking up my dog how I was supposed to. One of the worst experiences of my life. I will never go here again and I advise that you do the same.

They are the best veterinary clinic in Lawrence. Vets and Staff are always very helpful and they're very knowledgeable.

Absolutely the best place in Lawrence to take your pets. Fair prices and amazing staff! They have taken care of our sometimes sickly cat Tino, even though he does NOT behave well at the vet, a number of times with excellent and personalized care. Thanks for all you do!!

I've been taking my animals to Jarrett Small Animal Clinic for almost 15 years and after all the care my pets have received there I will never go anywhere else. Dr. Kissinger is a true professional and very compassionate, you can tell she really loves her patients. Their services are also reasonably priced.

Dr. Kissinger is truly one of the most compassionate, professional, and competent vets there is! She has provided the BEST care for all of our dogs and countless foster dogs we've had. She treats her staff with great respect and teamwork that is so comforting when the health and well-being of my beloved pets are at stake. I can't say enough about this extraordinary vet.

Unfortunately Covid restrictions make it impossible to see how much restraint they use (and my dog is untrained). However they seem competent and the vet comes out to answer questions directly. Vaccinations run about half the national average based on my insurance company's statistics. Also gives generic medication to save costs for growing puppies.

Great local vet that cares about their patients

My doggy was very sick after eating a flea collar and they helped us so much. my doggy is feeling so much better and they spent the entire day making sure he was 100% okay. I am beyond grateful for their time and dedication to my baby boy.

A couple days ago I brought my dog in because he wouldn’t eat his food and was more anxious than normal. They proceeded to tell me that they would be able to treat his cough which they themselves said they didn’t witness. I told them I had never heard him cough the entire time we had him nor did I ever say he had a cough. The vet tech brought up his “cough“ two more times but never mentioned any of the symptoms I brought him in for. Every time she brought it up I replied with the fact that he did not have a cough, I was only worried about his eating. She completely ignored me every time and they prescribed antibiotics and a dewormer despite the fact that they didn’t see him cough, he never had a cough, and they said nothing looked wrong with him. I got a call today asking how his cough was doing. We spent $100 there then immediately took him to another vet the following day were they said he probably just had a stomach ache because of food he was eating and there’s no reason for him to be on anabiotic’s if he doesn’t have a fever or any infection. I would not recommend going to this vet and we will not be going back.

I like having an appointment so I know when my dogs will be seen. When the staff get my dog in the exam room, I know that my pet is the most important patient for all the staff at that moment and they show the devoted love they have for animals each and every time I go.
