All my and my family's fur babies go here! They took wonderful care of our dogs and we're like part of the family caring for us when our dog passed away. They remember our pets and know them well, caring about patient and person deeply. I live in Shawnee now but always come back into Lawrence for their vet visits, I don't want to go anywhere else. Big thanks and love from the Smiths and all our pups you have previously cared and currently care for!

I can't speak highly enough of the vets and staff at Animal Hospital of Lawrence. Our dogs have had some health scares over the years, and Animal Hospital has always been compassionate and trustworthy when it comes to explaining medical situations, treating our pups with kindness, and checking in after the fact. We normally see Dr. Heeb (who is absolutely wonderful) but have also had emergency appointments with every vet there and they've all been fantastic. We seriously love this clinic and are so glad we have this resource here in Lawrence.

I truly don’t have enough words to express how amazing this place is. The staff is beyond helpful and the providers are so kind. They diagnosed our fur baby with cancer and took the time to answer all my questions and address his needs. And this was over the course of his cancer.. which means I probably called 3x week and always got a call back from the provider. They loved our Bucky as if it was one of their own family members. Hands down, the best vet in Lawrence.

The best vet ever. They've been taking care of my animals for many years and are absolutely amazing. I've been through the hardest times with two of my pets and the doctors and staff helped me through it with their compassion and understanding. Good people, for sure.

I cannnot say enough good things about Dr. Michelle Hall. She was very thorough in diagnosing a tick born joint infection and arthritis. I appreciated her communicating and explaining all options and costs before any treatment. She acted in the best interest of my dog, while being mindful of finances.

I got 4 wonderful dogs from them...Love them all...

Dr. Coles is simply the best. We had to move out of the area to the east coast and had an emergency where our local vet/ER were being unresponsive. Within a few minutes of calling AHL, Dr. Coles was talking to me and helping me through the emergency. He truly cares about animals and I'm so lucky to have had my dog be in his care. Can't rave about AHL and Dr. Coles enough.

We LOVE our animal doctor family here at Animal Hospital if Lawrence. We rescued our first dog about 5 years ago. We chose the To being our pet here after a rude experience at another vet in Lawrence. The staff and vets here are kind, patient, thorough, and explain things to you. We live in Johnson County and still choose to drive 45 minutes to take our four-legged family members here. We recently had a scare with our lab-mix, Marley. First, the team here worked to get him in ASAP. Second, they steered us away from the advice and high-dose medication that the emergency vet we saw in Johnson County recommend. To put a cherry on top, the vet reached out to us about 5-days later to see how Marley was recovering. I continue to be convinced that this is the best vet around. We are so thankful!!

They take excellent care of both of my pups! They communicate in a professional, informed manner and have always been honest and thoughtful about our and our pets needs. They go the extra mile and do things like trim nails if the dogs ever go under anesthesia.

Take excellent care of my Golden Retriever and my Husky. Everyone in office seems to love the fur people they see. Can fit you in to schedule nicely when needed. Three vets who seem equally qualified and caring. Glad I found this group!
