I started taking my fur baby Eowyn here about a month ago and one morning she wasn’t feeling well and throwing up. Rockhill let me take her in and drop her off so they could make sure she was going to be okay, no appointment needed for that specific time because of the situation. They made an exception to make sure Eowyn was going to be okay and I am so grateful for everything they have done for her since then. She now has medicines to help with her issues and they were understanding when it came to me needing to space out her appointments for financial reasons.

Always friendly and professional! Love the staff, they are just like family to Indy and Delilah, my cats. Thank you !!

I absolutely can not stand Rickhill Clinic’s poor customer service. My dog had an appointment for a vaccine. When I showed up I asked if they could check two things: 1) my dogs weight and 2) look in his ear as he has been scratching it. I then got to listen to a 25 min explanation about how I did not have the correct appointment type for those items. So my requests could not be honored without scheduling a complete medical exam. She went on and on about how I had scheduled the wrong appointment with the wrong team member, and how I should have done it all differently. All I could say is I’m sorry for not understanding their scheduling protocol. Geez. Looking for a new vet in KC, suggest you do likewise.

Rockhill Pet Clinic is the ONLY place I will ever take my kitties, Slinky and Toulouse, to. I recommend them to every pet owner! They keep them up-to-date with vaccinations, exams, and more by emailing me. Their staff is so friendly and I genuinely feel my kitties are safe with them.

We left our previous vet unexpectedly, because our previous vet did not like questions about medication costs, and that's okay. We loved our old vet; they were there for some of the best and worst times in our lives. BUT - this isn't about them. I will say that this change has been the best thing for our family. We lost both our pets earlier this year, and recently adopted a new dog and a new cat. The dog is doing great, but our sweet Mack already passed away, after only being in our lives for 6 weeks. We are so extremely grateful for the care that this place provided to our Macky. And we love how transparent they are in pricing their medications, and their commitment to allowing pet dads to purchase meds from Chewy and other options. Dr. Stewart, in particular, spent much time with me on the phone. I wish I could meet them all face-to-face, but until the pandemic ends, I won't know what these absolute saints look like. They treated my husband and I, and our sweet Mack, with such dignity, especially in the short time Mack was in our lives. I will never go anywhere else. This place is next level. I look forward to them seeing patients face-to-face.

This was the only place that would take my cat in for an emergency. And since it was urgent I was so glad to call and talk to a live person and not an automated one. They were very caring for my cat and straight forward about prices.

The staff at Rockhill Pet Clinic knows my dog well and are always responsive and caring, whether I'm bringing him in for boarding or veterinary care.

Our cat needed seen over the weekend and they squeezed us in on a Saturday and gave amazing care! Everyone was very nice and we know our baby got taken care of well.

I recently took my 1-year-old pup to Rockhill on short notice due to a scary-sounding cough -- as a first-time dog dad I'm a total alarmist. On top of squeezing us in last-minute, the staff at Rockhill was extremely sweet and patient with both myself and my dog. Most importantly, they were prompt with diagnosis and treatment; within an hour of our arrival we had a diagnosis, the appropriate meds, and were on our way home (this meant a lot considering it was mid-afternoon on a work day). To boot, during the next two weeks, the vets followed-up with several phone calls to check on our pup and see if we needed anything else. My experience at Rockhill was EXCELLENT, and I would recommend this place to anyone in KC needing veterinary help -- even if you have to drive across town. Having a sick pet is a super scary experience. I can't say enough how much I appreciate the patience, thoroughness, and re-assurance of the staff at Rockhill. Thank you SO MUCH for everything. We now have a healthy, happy pup!

I have two pups. They are both small (although a noticeable difference) but entirely different colors. I took them both to Rockhill. I should have stopped after I took the first one and they sold me a puppy package, they gave me a piece of paper (one sided) totally misleading. I ask about it and I somehow got a one sided document that should have been two sided. They apologized and comped me a nex/heart guard or something like that. I would add it’s a solid plan, again, it just wasn’t what I was initially informed it was. The real issue and reason for my post is that they mixed up the vaccinations for the dogs. Collars on, names on collars, just absolutely astonishing. Without going into detail my oldest is still suffering side effects of the wrong vaccine. What ultimately lead me to write the review is the absolute unwillingness of Rockhill to take any accountability what so ever. . Both pups looked forward to going and absolutely knew when we were going. The ladies that appear to be nurses or answer phones/intake/outtake are unbelievably kind and sweet. It breaks my heart they have to go through an entire process or getting familiar with a new staff/environment etc. and honestly to share this. But bordering on malpractice (to be kind) must be shared. Anyone, feel free to reach out for pictures/proof/documentation or further details here and I will share my email. After I posted the initial message above I received a phone call this morning letting me know the dogs were no longer welcomed and it wasn’t a good fit lol. So, now they have to do nothing to help me figure out what’s STILL wrong with a PUPPY that they mixed up the vaccines for . They are refunding me $108, which I have no idea how they came up with or what for. I declined all free things they offered with the exception of fixing my pup whom received the wrong vaccine. And still, now less than 0 accountability. To the point of, “we made a critical error, this is uncomfortable for us, so you can’t come back.” As an FYI this is an issue you must contact an attorney directly. No need for animal service report. Wish the big/little guy in the picture below the best as he continues to heal ❤️

This was my first time going to Rockhill Pet Clinic and I had an awesome experience. The people were knowledgeable and nice, they took very good care of Pinky. We have a vet that I normally take her too but for now on this will be her permanent vet. I love how they treated her and she was so sick. Pinky is doing so much better now thanks to the staff and I'm so grateful ????

They have always been there to help me take the best care of all my dogs. Right now young Maggie is my only child dog and I depend on Rockhill to keep her healthy. (Waiting for Covid restrictions to be lifted.)

I am very grateful with Dr.Stewart for helping us care of my cat on his last days, I know she did everything that could be done. I must’ve called a million times during those days and all the staff were very nice and helpful. Thank you.

This group is awesome, we brought our new 2 year old dog, River, in because she was having issues with her spay surgery and they worked after hours to get her fixed up and even c allied the next morning to check on her. Will be establishing our other 2 dogs here as well!

Rockhill Pet Clinic has been a great place to take my new puppy! As a first time dog owner, I appreciate the responsiveness and attentiveness of all the staff and doctors. They also offer a great puppy plan that includes a lot of first time expenses in one reasonable price.

We have great experience with Rockhill. We recently moved to the area, and our dog had a double ear infection. They quickly helped our dog, checked in on us to make sure treatments were going well, and quickly helped us when we had questions. We look forward to their veterinary care for many years to come!

Update: It's been over a year and I still stand by this review. Also, I highly recommend anyone visiting Rockhill Pet Clinic purchase Companion Protect for their pet, especially a new pet. It has already saved me thousands of dollars treating Lux's autoimmune disorder. I feel comfortable taking my kitten to the Rockhill Pet Clinic and trust RPC to give my baby the very best care. He has respiratory issues and Rockhill has been fantastic about helping get him on the right medications. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Most all of them have their own pets and their insight into toys and products that really go over well with pets is invaluable. They always offer me a water or a coffee when I have an appointment and the veterinarians are always on time. I've never had to wait long. The lobby and rooms are clean and comfortable. Most importantly my cat feels comfortable being there. He loves the attention and treats he receives. I've never owned my own pet before, and I'm happy to have Rockhill on my team.

I’ve been going to Rockhill Pet Clinic for over a year now. My previous vet retired, he suggested me taking my dog to Rockhill Pet Clinic. Well that was a good suggestion because I have been pleased with Rockhill every since. The staff takes good care of my Chihuahua and makes me feel comfortable as well & never had a long wait time at appointments. I have boarded my Chihuahua for about two weeks and they did a wonderful job taking care of him they even sent me pictures. If you’re looking for a vet to take care of your fur-baby I do recommend Rockhill Pet Clinic.

Everyone we come in contact with, whether over the phone or socially distanced outside the clinic, has been an absolute delight to speak with and ever so helpful. Big ups to Allison for going above and beyond in supporting both us as owners and our newly adopted pup, Chambo! I did not choose 'Good Value' because I have nothing to compare it to.

I have been bringing my dog here ever since I first got her as a puppy. At the time, I just googled "vets near me" and this was one of the better rated clinics that came up within a reasonable driving distance so I decided to check them out. I was not disappointed! They have always been very friendly and thorough in caring for my dog, and they have done phenomenal work on everything from getting her spayed right down to trimming her nails. Even after we moved further north, I still bring my dog here because all the vets and vet techs that work here are so friendly, and they all seem to remember my dog by name, even if they haven't seen her in 6 months to a year.
