My family had 3 lovely pups that the vet and receptionists took above and beyond care for. They are full of love for their work and for the people they encounter too. Our little one was diagnosed with a collapsing trachea last year and we didn't know how to deal with a disease that would inevitably take our family member from us. The vet knew how to help, experimented on medications treatments, and care for her. The receptionists took such care with her multitude of trips each time and always had kind words for us in the face of it all. When the time came that we found tumors riddled her small body and she could no longer stand, they gave us the utmost kindness and made our experience with the loss a bit easier to bare knowing she would and was taken care of to the end. We don't trust anyone else with our other 2 pups. Thank you so much Brookside.

They are amazing wonderful nice people. Who made it so i have more time with zoe dog who has cancer

5 star all around. Above and beyond! From receptionist to the Vet himself. She (receptionist) was so helpful. Vet had such a calm manner when presenting info on my beastie baby. Love them.

Super nice, great with my dog. And they're doing curbside help during the pandemic. So they'll come out to the car, get your pet, and bring them back out when done. The whole process was maybe twenty minutes.

I've been bringing my cats here since I moved to Kansas City and wouldn't go anywhere else. They made room in their busy schedule for an emergency visit when my cat was puking up blood (he's all better now!). It meant a lot to me when other places couldn't fit me in that day. They have always been good to us and thankful for all of their suggestions to make my eldest cat more comfortable and healthy as he ages.

Both of the puppies like the staff here and I like the fact that Dr. Steve takes the time to answer all of my questions.

We weren't customers of Brookside initially, but when we were in need of emergency stitches for our dog and our vet didn't have availability that morning, Brookside Animal Clinic was able to rush her in, treat her lacerations without hesitation, and had her home to me by 12:00pm. The Doctor was kind, took time and explained everything we would need for after-care treatment...we felt safe, and were impressed to say the least. Our doggie healed up just perfectly. Three months later our dogs had a scuffle in the night and left one needing - you guessed it - laceration stitches. Blue Pearl was on a three hour wait, so We called ahead of Brookside's opening and left a message hoping they would have some time. Not knowing their schedule for the day, we brought our pup up hoping they would have an opening at some point; When we got there we found they had received the message, were ready, waiting, and willing to help us - no questions asked. Thanks Brookside, we'll be back for sure. (Hopefully not TOO soon though!!)
