We just recently used Dr Kovac’s services & extremely impressed. We had a 15-year-old cat that no longer was able to go into the vet due to the stress it caused her. She was more than 3 years kidney failure & the last year of it was end stage failure. I desperately needed help as she had progressed & was extremely sick. Dr Kovac was so kind to come out without knowing her complex case and was so kind to her & extremely gentle with her. Unfortunately, she was too sick and had to say goodbye. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kovac, but I want to point out a few specific things including pricing (at the bottom). He is so good with my 18 year old tuxedo cat, Trigger. The way he talks to him and interacts with him while doing his assessment and treatment is amazing. His love for animals is pure and genuine. His easy manner resonates well with Trigger. Your pet needs to use the mobile vet! Before I found Dr. Kovac, Trigger would always stress out going to the vet's office. He hated the car ride, there were other animals barking and meowing, we would often have to wait for 20-30 minutes, and sometimes his vet was out and he saw a new vet. By coming directly to my front door, all I have to do is walk him into the mobile vet. There is zero waiting, it is a very quiet environment, and I get to stand right there with Trigger the entire time which is very comforting to him (and me). Lastly, let's talk about prices. When I first heard about mobile vets I didn't even entertain the thought of using them because I figured it would be very expensive. As Trigger got older and very stressed by going to the vet, I decided expense no longer mattered because of the comfort it would bring him. So, I did research and found Dr. Kovac. His prices are way CHEAPER than Gladstone Animal Clinic. You pay 24.20$ for his gas (this price has not gone up during the pandemic at all!!), the exam fee is 64.90, and the meds were very cheap. I am guessing he charges you exactly what he gets charged for meds. I know anytime I've paid for meds/shots at the Clinic, they are super expensive. Trigger was seen for pink eye and psychological alopecia, given a steroid and antibiotic and the entire bill (including gas and exam) came to less than $150 I can guarantee it would have been $250-300 at Gladstone Animal Clinic. And unlike Gladstone Animal Clinic, I never feel rushed with Dr. Kovac.He answers all my questions and addresses my concerns. Thank you so much Dr. Kovac! God Bless you sir!

We changed vets to Dr. Kovac late last fall, after it became clear that our 13 year old Sheeba Inu/mix needed some dental work. Our pup would get very anxious around other dogs, and we liked the idea of her being the only dog "in the office", and had heard good things about Dr. Kovac. His ability to calm and gain trust with animals before and while "doing his work" sets him apart from other vets, and is his absolute priority. Witnessing his approach upon our first visit with him, made me regret not finding him sooner. He cares deeply about the health and comfort of his patients and their humans. After a short battle with bone cancer, we recently realized it was time to let our dog go. I had been staying in touch with Dr Kovac since her initial diagnosis for guidance and reassurance, and made the call for the final appointment. He gave me the information I needed to be certain that I was making the right decision and graciously took the time to make a plan to help my daughter (who has some disabilities, and was best friends with our pup) understand, accept, and actively participate in the decision with the family. Our dog passed peacefully and with dignity, in her favorite spot, in the sunshine, with her people close. It is difficult to articulate the extent of our gratitude for Dr. Kovac after this experience. But I can say that that I have never met a more gracious, kind, skilled, experienced, and compassionate vet. When we're ready to bring a new dog into our family, we know who our vet will be. Charges you for things without asking. Very expensive Vet. Ordered me 6 months supply of Heart worm medicine without asking. Had to perform eye surgery on our lab twice because he messed up the first time. Enrolled my dogs in city licensing program without asking. Every year I get a bill from the city its like Kovak is just giving me the bird. Asks for my credit card runs it without telling me the price so I ask for a receipt and he says "You aren't going to stop payment are you?" in a joking manor. I get the receipt and look down to see he charged me 550 for a check up and annual shots , medicine, and licensing fees I didn't request. I strongly recommend finding a vet who has a brick and mortar business.

We have an anxiety filled chihuahua and Dr Kovak was amazing with our baby. I've never felt so at ease with a veterinarian taking care of our Lucy. We will continue to have him care for our fur baby.

My animals have been seeing this vet over 20 years. Think person below accidentally posted wrong business. Even with full check up and heartworm with rabies tags I never paid anything near that amount. Even with a surgery not even close to what is listed below. This doc is amazing and compassionate. You won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Kovac was kind, caring and very professional. He has so much compassion and made sure we could get what we needed to take care of our sweet puggle, Tow Mater. He really went above and beyond and he will now get the business of taking care of our other dogs.

So happy we found Dr. Kovac! We are new to the Northland and we had been traveling about an hour to our previous veterinarian. I was apprehensive to choose a different doctor to care for our two furbabies. Dr. Kovac was amazing with our collie mix (who can be a little dramatic at times). It was so stress-free and that translated to a much better experience for our boy. Highly recommend! Such a reasonable price for the provided services and I LOVE the mobile app that has access to records and easy ways to schedule appointments. I am ecstatic that we found our new veterinarian!

I am so VERY impressed with this mobile Veterinarian. My cat is getting older and I wanted blood work and extensive testing done on him. He is ???? and was extremely calm the entire time....unlike the Veterinary Clinics in the area. I highly recommend this Vet. Midnight even ate some of the cat treats he gave him and laid down on the carpet and was chillaxin. That's highly irregular for him. ????❤️

Dr. Kovac is a phenomenal vet. He's incredibly professional, personal and knowledgeable with competitive rates. One of my cats has a highly nervous temperament and he suggested Feliway which eliminated 85% of her anxiety. I appreciate his approach of natural and conventional medicine. I'm grateful for a vet like him.

Dr. Kovac and Staff are just wonderful especially with cats! They are patient and take their time. They answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable. They also are up to date with technology and I love their online store & vet phone app.

I was visiting from out of town when my dog had a stroke. Dr. Kovac and his staff were able to work me into their schedule and take care of my dog. It was amazing to see this rolling office pull up fully equipped and fully equipped and so reasonably priced

Doc has been seeing our animals for over 3 years. We have a large Great Pyrenees who has aggression making it hard to take him to normal vets. The comfort of having him come to the house makes it much easier. We recently had to put one of our senior cats to sleep, Doc’s compassion was more than I could ever imagine. I will always recommend him to anyone.

My Rottweiler is just a nightmare with vets. Turns from a loving giant teddy bear to full blown rabid cujo as soon as he sees a vet. And it's hard to find a vet who will deal with it. Dr. Kovac was amazing ... He put up with basically a wild bear that acted crazy. He was kind. Patient and so nice. I adore this man and highly recommend him. Nobody would help my giant baby. And he did. I'm forever grateful for his kindness. And will use him for any of my Rottweilers needs in the future. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. KOVAC! YOU ARE OUR HERO!!

Best vet out there, period. Genuinely loves the animals he cares for, comes right to you and is very knowledgeable. I won't go anywhere else. I can't say enough good.

We loved Dr. Kovac. He was great with our two dogs, labrador and rottweiler. Our lab is very anxious when he goes to the vet but when Dr. Kovac wheeled up and we took him out to the RV. He did not get anxious at all. We would recommend him to all our friends.

They treated my dog a English Mastiff named Max wit care and respect was with him when we had to let him go, I we ever have another animal they wil be our vet of choice
