Worst clinic ever, literally let my dog die.

We have been taking our pup to Northland Animal hospital since the day we adopted him. Dr. Roberts and her team have taken such good care of our Levi. We can’t thank them enough for all their help and patience with our dog. Levi can be a bit shy, and each member of the team takes time to make sure Levi is comfortable and that everything goes at his pace. We always feel heard when we have a concern. The team has helped us provide the best diet, preventative care, and treatment for Levi. We can’t recommend this vet more and plan to always take Levi here for care.

We absolutely LOVED our first experience with Northland Animal Hospital! We boarded our 97-lb German Shepherd mix with them for the Fourth of July weekend and were AMAZED not just at what they charged but also the amount of care and love was included for our pup in that price. Northland Animal Hospital just earned a customer for life because of their friendly front desk staff, their wonderful kennel employees, and an overall kind and convenient place to take our dog.

I highly recommend this Animal Hospital. Dr. Robert's and staff are beyond amazing. I drive over 30 minutes each way..but I only trust this office to take care of my papillon..

I can’t thank this hospital enough. My 9 year old girl (dog) got a uterus infection. Before i knew what it was they squeezed me in for a Saturday apt but she got worse on Friday. I took her to blue pearl er and they stabilized her through the night. I took diamond to them Saturday morning as soon as they opened and they got her checked in for emergency surgery. They called me as soon as she got off the table to give me updates. They caught it just in time and saved her life. I got to pick her up Sunday morning at 8 am. They called me as soon as they seen she was good to come home. I can’t thank them enough for saving my baby girl. The emergency vet wanted over 3,000 for her surgery but they made it affordable for me. Diamond is home now and feels so much better.

My first visit was an emergency for poison control. They didn’t hesitate to have me bring in my dog, who was not a current patient. I was turned away by other local vet offices, including my usual vet office and the emergency clinics were not open yet. This was the only office that said, yes, bring your dog in. They took great care of my girl and I can’t thank them enough for their wonderful and quick service. Also, their prices were very reasonable, which was another bonus.

This is definitely the best vet to go to. I had nothing but a great experience with my dog here. They are affordable and so sweet to the dogs, and they are great at what they do. I will Forsure be coming back everytime! Keep being great you guys!

I love this clinic. Dr. Roberts and her staff are all wonderful. I take my 2 dogs here, Lulu and Annie, and they are always treated with so much love and compassion. I am an anxious dog mom and most of the times have so many questions which Dr. Roberts and her staff try their best to answer for me. Last year We had to put our 15 year old shihtzu down after developing cancer on her mandible, she was very sick and there was a time where she couldn’t eat by herself. Needles to say that the situation was very sad but we were given time to say goodbye (this happened during the beginning of the pandemic) and after it was done, her little body was treated with so much respect and love. I’m so glad we found this clinic and we love Dr. Roberts ❤️

Everyone there is wonderful and very loving to my dogs. Dr. Roberts is very smart and knows her Vet medicine and is adding holistic medicine to her skills---I like this very much and applaud her for it. Medicine in general needs to moving this way. she has a great chiropractor 3 days a week. Very Pleased and very grateful!. I'm on dog s 7 & 8 and I'm sorry that my dogs 1 through 6 didn't have the loving care and concern that Dr. Roberts and Dr. Feris provide. The staff is almost as knowledgable and trained as the doctors hemhand share their knowledge and expertise. I always feel I'm taking my dogs to a loving environment when we go there. They all make it a great place to go. Standing ovation to all of them.

Northland Animal Hospital is an amazing team of caring and knowledgeable professionals. I adopted a senior puggle, and they helped me take the best care of her. Dr. Farris provided holistic approaches when possible for Zena. When it was time to make the difficult decision all pet owners dread, Dr. Farris, Holly, and Jean were not only there for Zena but for me. They didn’t push me in one direction or the other — simply provided Zena’s prognosis. The kindness and respect they had during Zena’s entire year with us is something all vet clinics should strive for.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice! Our dogs are a big part of our lives, and our family. it takes a lot for me to have full confidence and trust when it comes to them and their care. Dr Roberts is an amazing vet and has surrounded herself with a first class team of people who know animals and what needs to be done for them. They have been amazing at taking care of my two Goldens and reassuring me through all of their care! If you’re looking for a vet, they are the best in Kansas City.

I am glad I found this clinic. My chewy gets the best care. I never worry when he is in their hands.

Our dog was acting weird and was showing symptoms of what seemed like a UTI. Just to be sure we brought her into Northland Animal Hospital. After Dr. Roberts examined her and ran blood work Dr. Roberts took her emergency surgery and removed a large amount of infection. We had no idea there was infection at all. We are so thankful we took our dog Kaiya to Dr. Roberts and her team. They kept us up to date and made us feel comfortable the whole time. Thank you Northland Animal Hospital team you guys are the best and we will only be taking our animals here.

I decided to come here after reading all of the great reviews. They did not even have the vaccine that our dog needed. I was not expecting such an expensive bill, and I wasn't informed of any prices until it was time to pay, and even then I did not get a breakdown until an email was sent to me afterwards. Overall experience with the vet was not amazing. We took our dog to another vet to get the vaccine she needed and ended up taking our other dog to get a check up as well. We went to Thrive Affordable Vet Care and wow what an amazing experience. They listed all of the prices for us up front, gave amazing customer service, and we paid way less!

I was recommended by a couple of corgi owners to come here for a checkup after my boy got surgery (in another state). Dr. Roberts and staff were extremely friendly, reassuring, and pleasant! Our visit was a bit slower because our original vet/office didn't provide all the information necessary for Dr. Roberts. She was extremely patient. I requested that Ralphi get his nails cut while he was sedated (got xrays) and they look AMAZING! Offices were nice and clean. Thank you!

I used this clinic for the first time a couple of weeks ago. My little baby Titan was not eating. They got us in right away. Dr Roberts took the time to discuss all of our options so we could get treatment within out budget.

I went here as a last resort for my dog, Gracie. I went to another vet and they said no treatment. Just blood transfusions. She would likely not make it overnight. I was quoted $1-2k for transfusions at places that do it. Well Northland helped with pills and blood work at 1/3 of the cost. My dog is now 6 days past what the other vet said. I would go here and if she continues, i will send my other dogs here. Thanks Northland!

I've been coming to see Dr Roberts since she was in the old location across the street. I've brought both my cats and my bulldog here for everything from routine vaccinations to neutering to semi-urgent care. Dr Roberts is so caring and she doesn't upsell, she'll tell you if you can go lower cost on something. The techs are so sweet my dog loves coming here and has no fear, quite a feat! After experiencing several other Northland vets, I'm always pleasantly surprised by my bill here. Overall great vet and great service.

We took are sick kitty in for an evaluation. Dr. Roberts told us they could do tests but there wasn’t much they could do for him. We had to put him to sleep that day. She could have taken us for tons of money but she was honest, kind, caring and compassionate. The staff was also. We have used the office a few times over the years, but in a terrible situation they were there for us when we needed someone.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and handles and treats pets with care. I trust this vet clinic to give my pets exceptional care. After a visit, I am confident that everything possible has been done. Couldn’t be happier!

This is an outstanding clinic!! They are truly professional caring doctors. We changed over to this clinic because we were no longer satisfied with our dog’s previous veterinarian. The clinic is beautiful and my husband was impressed with the treatment our dog received with her skin problem. They prescribed a highly effective topical spray never used by the other clinic. But most of all was last weekend when our dog was attacked and bitten deeply by another dog. It was Saturday around 12 very close to closing for the weekend and we called frantically asking for help. They said they would fit her in even though we arrived 30 minutes before closing. The doctor said he was glad we came because it would have been a”disaster” waiting until Monday and thousands of dollars if we took her to emergency. She needed stitches in 2 different places, antibiotics, and pain medicine. They had to sedate her, clean her, and then perform the procedure and all of this after hours My husband and I are GRATEFUL beyond words!!! They saved our baby’s life. She is healing up now and we are so relieved. The doctor even called us Monday to see how she is doing. This is the place to go if you want to give your dog the best possible care. I was myself recently in an accident and the urgent care center refused to see me because I didn’t have a claim number and they were closing in 30 minutes so this was really Wonderful to see. True Professionals who care.

I made an appointment with Northland Animal Hospital for a second opinion. Dr Roberts took the time to listen to me. Even though it is not want I wanted to hear she was honest with me and told me what to expect. We decided the best option was to keep her comfortable. She was bleeding from several different tumors in her stomach. The nurses and front desk ladies were so nice and comforting.

EXCELLENT!!! Very professional, knowledgeable, proficient with great 'bedside manner' for both the fur-patients and pet owners. It is very evident every staff member loves their job and genuinely cares about the well-being of their patients. I have three cats, which I have been taking to them for several years, now. Just recently, one of them was limping. I showed up when they opened, without an appointment, and they fit me right in! You will love this practice to care for your fur-babies!

I love this place and all the vets and techs here! They've taken great care of my pupper and they are always friendly!

Dr Winters is a very gifted animal Chiro. She has treated a horse for me and my goat herding English Sheperd. Big changes in both of them for the better.
