I used to bring my dogs in here 5 years ago or so and always had a good experience. That has unfortunately changed. I brought our new pup in for his last round of puppy shots and to have a nickel sized sore checked out. the first thing Dr. Roberson said after introducing himself, was: "there's a new Dr. here. she mostly does the surgeries because my eyes aren't what they used to be, she's a real nice looking redhead in her 30s." I was uncomfortable and not sure what to say at that point. he moved on with the exam and didn't even bother checking my pup's teeth to help confirm age (so I had to remind him as he was leaving the room) I mentioned the sore I wanted him to check out and he said "Glad you pointed that out, I would've missed it!" Turns out it's apparently a mast cell tumor. I mentioned the pup doing good with my kids so far and he asked their ages. he then proceeded to tell me I was at "that perfect soccer mom age" which was also just really weird and uncomfortable. The entire exam and vaccinations cost me $90. They gave me an estimate on having my pup's mast cell tumor removed, but I will be going somewhere else to gladly pay for an entirely different exam and estimate. I used to love bringing my pets here because of the location mainly, but I will drive out of my way to avoid going here again.

I've always had great advice and treatment from the vets and all employees at Foxwood. They're very caring and seem to genuinely care for your pet's well being. I won't take my pets anywhere else.

My dog has been a patient here for 3 years, but we will never go back because of the nasty receptionist. My dog & I were attacked last week by a large, neighborhood dog. My dog was bleeding all over & had many injuries, so I scooped her up into the car & rushed to Foxwood. I went inside to ask for help & was immediately turned away by the rude receptionist. I was covered in blood & visibly upset with my dog bleeding in my car & the receptionist just rudely handed me a business card & told me to go elsewhere. Antioch Dog & Cat Hospital took her in immediately, stapled her wounds, gave her medication & even comforted me, even though we were not patients there. And our own vet just turned us away without even bothering to look at her. I have never been more disappointed. I had money to pay & was an established patient & Foxwood showed zero concern for my injured dog. I will never go back there.

When we walked in the place was organized and clean looking. But we got some sketchy stares and were ushered into a small room just to fill out paperwork. My puppies were acting energetic, smelling things, like usual in a new place. Then they sent us to a different room and told us to wait for the doctor. This guy(assuming asistant) asked if they were weighed yet and looked annoyed when I said no. The communication with the employees seemed very unorganized. It got hot in the room fast, my babies started panting, definitely no water. Someone came in to take my boy out to get weighed. When they came back in I was told that they already did shots, without informing me what was going on. I didn't like not being in the room for shots or especially the examination, it really makes me wonder if they did a proper examination. When the doctor came in, I felt like she was trying to rush. I was trying to ask about flea medication as she ushered us to the counter to pay. I wanted to ask about a behavior problem but the doctor had already walked off. The counter lady tried reassuring me that they behaved well, like they weren't expecting it. The paperwork they put the birthday as that day we visited; which upsets me because that definitely isn't their birthday and there wasn't a place to put the actual birthday on the paper I had to fill out. Also on the rabies certificate they put my girl's color as white, she is definitely black with some white markings. All in all the place seemed judgmental, in a rush to get us in and out, and unorganized in communication.

Was told med refills would be NO problem when there with my dog paying $50 to be seen by the vet for literally 3 mins. When I called for a med refill because I was out, was told they had to check with vet and he wouldn't be back for 5 days. If I wanted a refill today, I'd need to come in and again pay $50 to see a different vet. Overall, they seem rude and difficult to work with. Would NOT recommend.

Wonderful vet who provides amazing service! A couple of years ago my cat hurt one her legs. I called ahead for an emergency visit since it was almost closing time. The vet was actually willing to stay after hours to see my cat. Since it was a mild injury, the vet gave me a small bottle of anti-inflammatories (basically "kitty aspirin") and didn't charge me for an office visit. I owed nothing. --It was free. I will never forget the vet's kindness. He now has a customer for life. I will always take all of my pets to this office. They're such wonderful people who really care about animals.

Went there to pick up a script for my dog. Dr forgot to leave instructions, in addition to meds that didn't work I was charged $48 for an office visit and my dog wasn't even with me. Absolute criminals! Don't take your pets here! They miss diagnose so you keep coming back spending $$$ !

Dr. Roberson is obviously burned out and seems to have an issue with women. He clearly does not like to be questioned as to why he wants to run certain tests and what the tests will reveal. Dr. Harmon had quoted me a lesser price saying it was a "special" and when I mentioned that he got very mad. He said he was not going to "dicker with me" on price and that I could follow up with her if I wanted to continue care in their clinic. I don't think I've ever been that disrespected with a pocket full of cash. Needless to say I will not be back.

We took our dog Piper here to get her free wellness checkup after adopting her. The check in and wait time was quick and the Dr was a riot! After checking Piper and giving her a clean bill of health, we started talking about life and joking back and forth. He's very warming and Piper is due for her second shot tomorrow. I hope it doesn't hurt her too much! Lol

I had to put my beloved cat of 16 years down last week. The ENTIRE staff of Foxwood made the process so much easier. They made sure the lobby was clear when we brought her in so we could be comfortable to grieve. Dr. Robeson was so personable when we came in and explained the whole process and helped us with the grieving. They even sent us a card in the mail. I will never take my pets anywhere else. Thank you Foxwood!

They never returned my call granted it wasn't an emergency if it had been, this rating would be worse.

Have taken my pets here for many years and have always had excellent service. Love the staff and veterinarians; all are very nice, patient, and understanding. When our pets have had procedures or surgeries done, they always call to get an update on how they are doing afterwards. When we had to euthanize a pet, they sent a condolence card signed by everyone in the office. Very thoughtful.
