Profoundly disappointed. We took our very sick huskador, Sierra, who had been vomiting for a month, to see Dr. Justin W. Roach, upon the recomendation of our regular vet. Our regular vet, Dr. Kathy J. Harris of Ray County Animal Hospital, lacked equipment to do any tests so we went to see Dr. Roach. Dr. Roach took a couple of x-rays and did blood work and could not find any issues. He also tested for Addison's disease, which came back negative. Dr. Roach advised us to get Sierra scoped at another vet, but he said that was going to run between $1500-$2000. We already paid him $1200 with no diagnosis or even an idea of what was wrong. The problem is we cannot afford to go see another vet and pay $2000 and walk away with no diagnosis or any possible treatment. My wife and myself feel cheated by the cost of service with nothing to show. I am glad to see all of the positive reviews for this vet, but we are very disappointed with with our outcome. What are we supposed to do now? I am not affiliated with any other veterinarian and have no reason to post this review other than we were ripped off.

I have never been to such a high standard of care and compassion in any health place let alone a vet..everyone there is amazing...knowledgable and takes the time to help you understand the best care of your animal. I will never go anywhere else period.

The whole staff is always very kind, courteous and knowledgeable and they always make time to see my dog on short notice. I love that this is my local vet.

Dropped dogs off 45 min early expecting to come back to get them.. they were able to see them right away while waiting for a sick animal to be brought in.

Would absolutely recommend this Vet to anyone! I only have positive things to say! Never have I had a vet that genuinely cared for my pet so much, and went out of his way to make sure my pet was well taken care of. Dr. Roach is professional, kind, and very informational. Every member in the office that I've encountered has been thoughtful and kind.

We have been bringing our dogs to Claycomo Animal Hospital for going on 12 years now!! What a WONDERFUL place. Dr. Roach and all the staff really care about you and your furry kids. Dr. Roach is so knowledgeable and has always explained things well for us to understand. They don't rush you---they take time with us and don't ever push unnecessary procedures, tests, meds. Susan at the front desk is so kind and patient, Anna and Emily, the techs are so sweet and always so easy to talk with. They truly listen! Michelle has always been wonderful as well. We absolutely love this place and love the care we have always received. From being able to always get in when needed (even if they had to work us in) to the amazing customer service it's a great vet! I feel the prices are fair and I love that they always call to follow-up every single time, sometimes multiple times depending on what the visit was for. Their care and compassion shows!!!!! Our furry kids have always been well taken care of by them!! So happy we found an AMAZING vet with amazing staff to care for them.

I have never had so much caring and compassion from a group like at claycomo animal hospital. Had to put my fur baby down after 19 yrs. the dr and nurse were so sweet an caring thank u all for your comforting word

Great Vet, Vet Techs and Assistants are good to me and with kitty's pet care...my referral got me a $25 credit in the mail! My only idea to suggest is to make texting or confirmation calls the day beforehand. I was told they only call a week prior to appointment, so when I called them a half hour prior to leaving home, then there was a communication error that I called to cancel my cat's appointment! So, maybe there is a more automated system for those who use androids? Millenials would be the first to say, "most definitely" and I want my niece, who's studying to be Vet Tech to be successful in social networking as well and integrating communication techniques and utilizing updated technology for petcare. :) Thanks again and I hope you use my techno suggestion as a positive business opportunity. They updated their system...loving it and the dropoff/pickup for social distancing during Covid.

Very thoughtful and kind staff. Doctor and staff show compassion and really care about my fur babies. Reasonable prices as well. They don’t rush you out the door and take time to explain and talk about your pets health. I won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon.

This place is very special to me. My dad built it. This was the first construction project I worked on when I was a teenager. I was on the concrete crew.

Dr Roach and his staff are nothing short of miracle workers. They are extremely kind, compassionate and considerate of all of your requests and furry family members needs. I have been blown away by how Dr Roach has treated and cared for our sweet puppy who has definitely given us quite the adventure. If you are in need of a vet- don’t look any further than Claycomo Animal Hospital! You won’t be disappointed.

The staff is very friendly and you can tell they really care for your pet. They've been treating my dachshund, Blu, for years and he has had great care there. Dr. Roach is kind and explains things well. Great place to take your animals.

I drive 45 min to come here. Passing 3 other vets I. My way. But I think Dr.Roach & staff are friendly, & I feel they actually care about the animals.

I wouldn't consider going anywhere else, Dr. Roach and all the staff here are compassionate and caring and always take the time to listen to concerns and answer questions.

My wife called with questions regarding my dog that had gotten into some mole poison in the immediate neighbors yard. Phone call went great woman was very polite. Right up until the point that she thought she had hung up the phone and proceeded to bad mouth my wife to her coworkers about how we care raise our pets and how we must live our life. This went on for a short time until my guess she realized the phone was still connected and hung up. With no answer wen tried to call right back. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. It's safe to say we are extremely upset and will take our pets and money elsewhere.

This is our regular vet, they are awesome. Very caring and they have great covid safety procedures
