Dr. Clark, and the team at Fairview, will be my vet for the foreseeable future. I have had Pets my entire life. I have been going to Veterinary Clinics since I was in a baby carrier, and I have had my fair share of bad experiences. My experience with Farview has been the best experience I have had in YEARS. Highly recommend bringing your pets here.

We have been going here for years. But past year they have been disappointing when it comes to pet emergencies.

~3 months ago I brought Abby in because she wasn't walking right. The male vet said she had a UTI and possibly tick disease which could cause the walking issue. She was treated, but her walking did not improve. A few weeks ago I brought them both in for shots and to talk about Abby's walking again. Abby had a fever so she couldn't get shots. Abby started having accidents around the house and could not walk without help getting started and was not eating. We had a very difficult weekend last weekend so we brought her in on Monday where we dropped her off as an emergency. I consented to bloodwork. I got a call that she was a perfectly healthy dog. When I asked about her walking they said she could walk fine and was pulling them around. I asked if they did x-rays to which the male vet said they had not because he didn't know if it was financially viable for me. I mean, I know I look homeless most of the time because I work from home, but this was offensive. They did the x-rays and said they found nothing wrong. They said I should get a call Wednesday morning about the bloodwork. I had to call Thursday to get the bloodwork results. She had kidney disease and possibly something with her pancreas. It was too late for me to pick up her medication. Overnight Abby stopped walking altogether so I attempted to call first thing Friday morning to see if it was worth trying the medication. I called three times, the last time I was frantic because it was already so late in the day. I never received a call. Abby could not move from her spot, she could not move her back legs and barely moved her front. Saturday I took her to a different vet because I no longer trusted the male vet here. Abby had completely blown her disc and could not feel her back legs. She would not eat or drink and was completely limp. I made the difficult decision to put her down. I am not positive, but I feel like there was either some negligence or incompetance on the male vet's part here. I had been warned about coming here, but the care when my dogs were healthy seemed very good so I ignored it. I feel guilty for not seeking care for my Abby elsewhere sooner.

Appointment at an animal hospital/vet, just wonderful when you have a sudden problem ????. Out of the many Independence vets that were called, Farview got us in. Thanks!

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Clark and her team. We've lost three pets in the last year, two to old age and one to sudden, aggressive lung cancer. Despite how busy they are, she never made me feel rushed, always answered my questions and showed compassion for my animals and me. I've only had limited experience with Dr. Olson, but he's always been nice and good with my pets. Yes, they are struggling to do same-day appointments unless it's an emergency. But this is the case with many veterinary practices in our current climate, and the service, compassion and value make it well worth the wait. Farview is and always will be my first choice in veterinary care.

We have been taking our family pets to Farview for the last 20+ years. Our last few visits have been with Dr Olson and haven't been the greatest experience. He lacks bedside manners and made me feel as though I was disregarded when asking questions. The most recent visit made me question switching vets. Our experiences with Dr Clark have always been wonderful, so if we do continue having our pets seen here, we will ensure she's who we see.

Staff is wonderful! It was our kitten/cat's first veterinarian visit and he was treated with gentle kindness. The doctor was so compassionate, caring and patient, answering all of our questions regarding the health, safety and care the newest member of our family. We sincerely thank and appreciate the professional courtesy and kindness that all of us were given. Both the two and four legged!!

Dr. Clark and her vet techs are wonderful. I'm a crazy cat dad who did quite a bit of research about my pet. Dr. Clark and her vet techs welcomed my questions and my thoughts about my pet. They let be the overly informed pet parent that I was. The reason for the low rating the Front Desk Staff. They need some major training in workplace professionalism and bedside manners. They're dealing with parents, pet parents but parents nonetheless. I had my sweet black cat from when she was 8 weeks old until the time of her passing at age 16. I had been seeing Dr. Clark for the last 3 years. My cat had been battling diabetes for the last 2 years of her life. Dr.Clark was great and comforting throughout that battle. Unfortunately one morning I found my cat alive but not moving. It was time to make the decision to end her suffering. I got her in that morning to be respectfully put to sleep. The Front Desk lady was the absolute worst. Like I was almost interrupting her day because I didn't want to see my cat suffer in pain. I get back to the room and Dr. Clark puts the first of two injections to put her to sleep. Just moments after that injection, the same Front Desk lady comes back and asks for payment! I'm trying to say goodbye to my beloved cat and that gets interrupted because of money?!?!? I didn't have a history of not paying my vet bills in full. That should have waited until AFTER I said goodbye to my cat of 16 years. Instead of a peaceful memory of saying goodbye to my sweet kitty, I'm left angry that I had to deal with the most unprofessional receptionist of all time.

Things have changed here recently and not for the better. We were going to have to wait two weeks to have our sick cat seen. I ended up calling our old vet in Liberty where we used to live and got an appointment for tomorrow even though they are busy.

Dr Clark is the only vet I see for my furry kids . She helped me and my 8 year old pit pull go through cancer treatment. She remembers everything about both of my furry kids. And is ALWAYS there when we need her ! I can't say enough good things about this place. Thank-you so so so much
