They have a nice facility that doesn't feel too institutional. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The vets are great at providing information in an understandable way and don't push for unnecessary procedures. We always walk out feeling like we have the best pet in the world!

Excellent vet clinic that I use for both my cat and dog. Friendly and caring staff. I have seen several doctors and I trust in the care provided for my pets. I highly recommend Jordan Creek Animal Hospital.

At my last visit we waited 30 minutes in the car before they came out to get my dog. Today we had an appointment and we waited 50 minutes in the room without anyone coming in to provide an update. Needless to say we left without our dog being examined by the vet.

I took my dog to Jordan creek animal hospital when another vet said they had no idea what or how to help my dog! Turns out she had cancer, the people in this office we’re so sweet, I don’t think I met anyone who didn’t act like my Abby was their dog! With a very heavy heart I have to say my baby Abby lost her battle with cancer on june 18th! I miss her so very much, but, while she was here with us she got the best care from them! They even sent me a card with a verse that shows you how extra special they are! I only wish I would have taken her to them sooner, maybe she would still be with me! The card also made me feel very special because I know how much they cared and Abby also lost her human Dad in March! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, EACH AND EVER ONE OF YOU!

Dr. Mingus and the entire staff are wonderful. They always walk through everything clearly and welcome questions. I am always presented with optional and never feel pressured.

I was calling various Vets in the West Des Moines area to get estimated (approximate maximum) costs on dental cleaning + extractions and the receptionist was extremely short and rude with me. All other places I called were polite enough to look through their available information andf give me those estimates. *Animal Doctors Veterinary Clinic* was kind and professional and seems to have some of the lowest costs around. *Family Pet Veterinary Center* was the most professional and set me up to receive a details estimate via email, as well as informing me that the initial health check + office visit is completely complimentary unless diagnostics for other health concerns were required. TL;DR - Avoid this place, choose another.

I take all my kitties here and have had the best experience ever. I recently lost a kitty and dr.anne was very helpful and gave us a great input on what to do in our situation. She was there to help our kitty go to heaven peacefully.. I give this vet hospital 5 stars and will recommend others here. I love this place and all there hard work☺☺????????!!

My dog is a frequent flyer there, unfortunately. Dr. Cody Mingus and the rest of the staff are outstanding. They are so thorough and so understanding about my rescue dog not liking strangers. He has had so many issues in his short time of life but this staff puts me at ease because I know we are in such great hands.

Fantastic vet hospital! They were able to squeeze in my dog when she had an infected cyst. The vet and the techs were professional, compassionate, and so friendly! I will happily recommend Jordan Creek Animal Hospital in the future!

We saw Dr. Rachel Varley for our dog Koda. She and her team did a wonderful job of examining Koda and making sure all of our questions were answered. Out of several places we have tried, this was by far the best experience we’ve had. We will certainly be back!

I had to take my dog to Jordan Creek Animal Hospital after he ingested rat poison at my husbands work place. I am not super familiar with West Des Moines so I googled “animal hospitals” in the area. The first thing that popped up was Jordan Creek Animal Hospital. I made a phone call and the gal I talked to was very friendly and very helpful. She told me she would check and see if the Veterinarian could see him since he was not a patient there. She came back to me shortly after and said that it was not a problem at all and they would see him. I drove the 1.8 miles over and was greeted at the door. One of the girls took Kodi and got started on him right away. Within the hour of me being there, the girls were very informative and came out to keep me updated. A little bit later, Dr. Whitney came out, introduced himself, was very professional and explained the whole process to me. I couldn’t have been more relieved with the awesome care they were giving him. The exceptional customer service I received from Dr. Whitney and his whole team was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a veterinarian in the West Des Moines area, I highly recommend this place!
