I take all of my fur babies here and love the interaction the staff has with them. Very good at explaining things and making sure my babies are taken care of, loved, and healthy! Not to mention the emergency care visits that I've had to randomly take. Love them!

My dog loves Dr Janssen as much as she can love any vet. He has such a patient manner and for a very nervous dog she’s the least nervous on West Side’s table. I really appreciate the fact that he offers normal and cheaper options before suggesting testing and surgery but still goes over all of the options available. Pricing for vaccines is right on par with most clinics and the service can’t be beat!

Our new puppy had an appointment with Dr. Janssen today for his first vet general checkup and it was a wonderful experience. David and the staff were all very welcoming and knowledgable. Doc spent at least 45 minutes explaining how we can keep our boy's health and well-being in check throughout his life. Knowing it was a lot to take in, he sent home a packet full of information for me to read or reference later and made sure I understood the immediate action I need to take for next steps. He thoroughly answered all of my (novice) questions and said I can get in touch with them anytime should something come up. He also gave me a vet-trusted website to visit should I want to look something up, so I don't have to comb through hundreds of conflicting pieces of information on the web. I couldn't be more pleased with our initial interaction.

Dr. Janssen is the best doc in town! I brought my 19 year old little calico girl Jynxy in for her senior check-up. She was very calm and relaxed, and Dr. Janssen made her feel at ease while he checked her teeth. She's never done that for me!

I highly recommend West Side Vet Clinic! It is hard to find top-notch vet care that is also reasonably priced...but West Side Vet Clinic is exactly that. They take the time to add personal touches like writing all of the names of their clients for the day on a welcome board to show that each and every pet is truly important to them. The receptionist is very polite and attentive to any questions, and Dr. Janssen was fantastic...going over every inch of my dog to ensure he was in good health.

Hands down the BEST you will find!! Dr Janssen & his staff go above & beyond when it comes to your pet's comfort & health. I called regarding an abused abandoned rescued cat I had & they were kind enough to let me come after hours to have the cat examined. They really do care about your pets. If you have ever thought your vet was the best - it's because you haven't been to West Side Veterinary Clinic!!

I only went here once because our cat got into something she wasn't supposed to and we wanted make sure she was ok. It was fairly quick and the vet was real nice and gave us some tips for pet care while we there and wasn't real expensive either.

Top to bottom amazing service, went above and beyond. Our Cat with cancer suffered a set back and our normal vet office was closed. We called around and West Side clinic was fully booked for the day but the receptionist talked to the vet and agreed to stay open late to help us put our cat down. Compassionate and caring. Needless to say, We have a new vet clinic for our animals in the future.

Great Vet & nice techs

This is a true veterinary office. Its not a vet trying to board, groom and train. They are medical professionals who take care of your dog. So glad i switched and took my dog there. Hes super anxious and they did a lot of fantastic things to make it less stressful.

Got me an appointment fairly quick. When I got there, they almost immediately got me in to see a vet. They took tremendous care of my cat. All the staff seemed warm and welcoming.
