Dr. Safris and staff are very knowledgeable and have the utmost compassion for their furry patients. My Rudy isn't the easiest to deal with due to his anxiety, so I really appreciate that they work with him as well as they do when we visit. I was referred to Westfield about seven years ago by several friends and I am glad I made that call.

My first appointment was filled with so much information. I got what I needed and probably stayed too long due to all my questions but they were willing to answer every one. I’m very happy to have brought my new puppy here and will continue to use them. Update over 2 years later: I still 100% recommend them. I still to this day feel like this is the safest and best care for my dog. The receptionists are friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. The nurses/assistants are loving of your animals and make both your animal and you feel safe. And the vets are all of the above. Will go here forever with all of my animal needs.

We appreciate the organization of the website, the appointment and vaccination reminders and the "optional" vs "recommended" treatment plan that helped us to better afford having 2 pups neutered at the same time. We couldn't imagine navigating the future without the incredible team at Westfield Veterinary Hospital.

Such an incredible group of people that really seem to care. They take time to talk through treatment and present options. We have been taking our dog here for years and it’s the staff and Drs that make it great.

Westfield Veterinarians and employees have been compassionate and caring for our pets and now our adult children's pets as well.

I brought my dog here kind of on an emergency basis. Our normal vet is closed one day a week and of course, something was wrong with my dog on that day. I called for an appointment and they offered a drop-off at any time or a scheduled appointment time where I could go in with him. I chose the time where I could go in since it was a new place. They got us in right at our time, got my dog back ASAP and came back within a few minutes with a diagnosis. We were able to take care of it that day. My dog is usually not great with strangers, but I think he knew they were helping him. We will definitely be back!

Went here for the first time after switching vets and was very impressed! One of our dogs has had a chronic ear infection that we cannot get to the bottom of and they had some suggestions that Iowa State had not even brought up to us! Will be going back for sure!

This veterinary clinic is top notch. I have a 6 year old Frenchie and a 21 year old cat, and when I first moved to DSM I was nervous. The number of vets locally that were unfamiliar with French bulldogs as a breed was really frightening, when I came across Westfeild I read the reviews and booked an appointment. This team has gone above and beyond in helping care for all of my animals, but especially for my geriatric cat, whom requires a lot of visits for various reasons. Hades is 21. Which in itself is amazing! He has been struggling with hyperthyroidism for years, and recently was diagnosed with cancer around the liver. This team has shown so much compassion as we have had to make some difficult decisions for his care, and that has meant the world to us. Hades is still hanging in there, and the staff at Westfeild have made this all so much easier for us. I will be eternally grateful for them, and I can not recommend them enough for all of those who have fur babies they love as much as we love ours.

They are very nice vet and the people that works with them are very nice. They are good at answer all our questions. We will Always come back.

Westfield Vets are professional and caring. We have always had wonderful care there for our kitty.

Cannot say enough good things about the care my dog received at Westfield. She had recently been spayed at another veterinary hospital, and our dog unfortunately had a wound complication. Dr. Paulin spent tons of time communicating to us about next steps, things to look out for, etc. She was very kind and compassionate towards our dog, and even more importantly, she was very thorough. I left knowing that my dog had been well taken care of, and we are so grateful for the care our dog received. This was the experience I had been hoping for from the original vet! I would highly recommend anyone with a pet to take them to Westfield and to work with Dr. Paulin in particular! Thank you Westfield!!

Each experience I’ve had at Westfield has been excellent! The staff has been there each time my family has brought an animal home, when an animal has passed and every moment in between. Each vet, tech and receptionist care for the animals like they are their own. I couldn’t recommend this vet enough!

My dog had hurt her leg pretty bad. Our regular vet couldn't get her in for 2 weeks. We came here and they were so wonderful. Chloe is much better now!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Westfield Veterinary Hospital. I have been going there since 2016 and every experience has been positive. The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional, personable and friendly! They have always been able to get my babies in when needed for appointments or last minute issues. Definitely the best care for my dogs and cats that I could ever ask for. Even with this crazy year+ of Covid they have gone out of their way to make sure our babies are taken care of. Lots of love for Westfield Veterinary Hospital!
