Oaks Veterinary Clinic Des Moines, Iowa

So glad we found out about Oaks. We've had nothing but great experiences here and they're pricing is fair more reasonable than previous vet clinics we've been to. Oaks will be our go to as long as we live in Des Moines.

Dr. Harmon sees my dog and Dr. Minor treats my cat. I can not even put into words how kind and amazing both vets have been to me and my fur babies. My cat has kidney disease and Dr. Minor has been amazing about getting her in when I am worried and has made me feel like her care is important to him. He walks me through all the steps in caring for her properly so I can make sure she is comfortable and happy. I don't know what I would do without Dr. Minor. Also on a side note their prices are so reasonable I can take care of her needs with out having to worry about the price tag. I tell everyone about Oaks because I honestly think there is no better place to take your pets.

Many companies are hungry for new clients and in this vet they do not receive new pets! ????‍♀️????‍♀️But ok bye-bye.????????????

Oaks has been amazing with our furchildren. They are kind, caring, and willing to work with you, if needed. They did an emergency surgery on our dog for less than half the price the emergency vet quoted us. Dr. Harmon is on site and our dog loves him! Recently, we lost one of our cats and Oaks made it so easy to have her cremated through a private service. They even did a paw print for my daughter at the vet before they sent her off. They are the best!

It was my first time coming here, and the vet looked at my gecko for only about five minutes before coming out and ultimately telling me to "cross my fingers and hope" she'd get better. I drove 45 minutes for that kind of information. I felt like I was being talked down to the whole time, and I was overall not impressed with him or his attitude.
