So I just got off the phone with one of the employees. I have never been more angry my cat dislocated her jaw yesterday and I was trying to call and see what my options where she didn't answer any of my questions, she told me if I couldn't afford the surgery I should take her to an animal shelter. I am really really angry with this place they have no idea how to help or answer important questions. I got no help with my situation I will never come here again.

My pets have had a great experience with Dr. Thatcher and her team. When either walking in the clinic, or meeting in the parking lot during COVID, I always felt the team cared about my pets. They took the time to answer all my questions, and when my senior pets required specialty services they referred me to resources in the community that were high quality, and met our needs. At our first appointment with Dr. Thatcher, my senior cat had a blast exploring the exam room prior to his check-up. He climbed on the bench to watch the fish, then peeped out the window to see the birds at the feeder. They put a cozy non-slip mat on the metal exam table to keep my kitty from slipping and sliding, then they even sent him home with a toy! At Hickman Road Veterinary Clinic they do a lot to help your pets feel safe, and that means a lot to me!

Dr. Thatcher and her staff are always very friendly and take excellent care of both of my dogs. I highly recommend them!

My partner called this clinic today so we could get a second opinion about the meds my cat had been prescribed due to him excessively drooling, loss of appetite, tearing up, etc. And the person who picked up not only stated they aren’t seeing new animals which would have been fine, I understand, but she laughed at him and made him feel like our animal was not worth their time. That is not professional. We are somewhat new pet owners and we felt that what was happening was not ok but our current vet kept telling us it was. We wanted a second opinion to make sure that he was ok. To be laughed at and feeling like an animals pain is funny and not worth a vets time is not ok. I will NEVER come here.

We have been going to Dr. Thatcher for 3 years and we love it! The whole team is so wonderful and our dog loves going (he especially loves the treats).

Just took my dog here for the first time and had such an amazing experience! The staff worked with me to address all of my concerns and advise me on future care recommendations. They provided quotes for everything before performing the service which was so comforting for me. I love my dog, but am also very practical and unwilling to clean myself out for my 12 year old companion. I felt like they understood and respected that. Reasonable prices, friendly, welcoming staff. We will definitely be back!

Dr. Thatcher takes such good care of my dog! He’s very old and needs extra attention. She was great at explaining things and what all the options were to make sure he lives a long and healthy life. The prices were very reasonable and I didn’t feel pressured at all, which was great compared to other vets I’ve been to.

Excellent Experience! I called on a whim after passing by the office and they were able to get my dog in the same day for stitches after she received a small laceration in her leg. They were so kind, helpful, and quick. They were great with communication. Prices were very reasonable. Overall, such a great place.

Has been my vet for at least the last decade

Disappointed the vet allowed me to purchase Frontline not just once but twice for my cat ! I later learned from another vet that frontline is no longer effective on fleas. Yet after calls to them about this being ineffective , they let me purchase a 2nd dose.after 2nd round and another call from me they offered me a capsule that kills fleas immediately but not residual and wanted to charge me an office visit fee to assist me getting my cat to swallow the capsule. Never once did they recommend an effective topical treatment ! I was recommended by another vet which worked and is still working.

Dr Thatcher has been my vet for over 8 years. She's concise, fairly priced, and runs a tight ship. I've moved clear across town, but still remain her customer because my pets like her and her staff, and I trust her with their lives.
