The quality of care was great. But the prices are outrageous. Blood work was going to cost us hundreds of dollars more than our last vet. So we decided to stick with our old vet and just drive across town.

Excellent service and very friendly and pleasant staff. The "TRULY" treat your pet like one of their own

Don’t take your pets here unless you want to be scammed out of your money. They don’t care about you or your pet. They tried to scam 4,000 out of me. Telling me my dog tested positive for heart worms. Messing up her medication for this treatment not one time, not two times, three times. Once that was finally figured out the day she was scheduled for treatment they had planned her weight wrong and for 5 pounds she gained they wanted an additional 2,000 dollars. When I hesitated to hand over my money, I was suggested I apply for their credit card. Picked my dog up took her somewhere else to find she didn’t have heart worms, I was being scammed. The vet was too scared to come out and talk to me, requested that her staff have me leave when I came to discuss this issue. Never called or rescheduled a time to tell me how this happened. The disappointment didn’t end there; When the templated apology email came, it was generic and topped with the wrong name. If you love your pet, get a new vet.

They treat your pet like they were their own. They make suggestions and give you options for treatments/vaccines, but always ask beforehand and don't pressure you. My dog is always happy to see them, which speaks volumes about their care!

The staff is awesome I got a puppy after both my parents passed away and decided to use fluer pet hospital not having any prior interactions with them. They have taken excellent care of JW and I can also board her there with peace of mind that she will receive all the tender love and care she receives from me.

Very caring and respectful of how important our pets health is to us. They also understand that pets can be scared when they go to the vet.

My sister needed someone to care for her beloved 18-year-old dog while she went out of town. It was a trip that had been planned over a year in advance, and she was stressed about leaving him because he needed a lot of help and required a lot of care. Fleur Pet Hospital promised they were up for the task and that she could leave him in confidence with them. They said they “loved old dogs” and that he “could hang out up front with them” and be “doted” on. When she left, Oliver could walk, stand, and eat/drink on his own. He was for the better part blind and deaf, and would fall sometimes and need help back up, but this is something they were aware of before they agreed to take him on and care for him. She got a call while on vacation that he had developed a “hot spot” on his face and was requiring two techs to care for him to stand up and feed him. They informed her they were going to need to charge her more money for the “additional care” he was needing. Worried that he wasnt doing well there, she decided to end her vacation early...a vacation she’d been saving and planning for well over a year...to go back and rescue him from this facility. Oliver was not the same dog when we returned LESS than a week later. That was not a “hot spot” on his face...it was a giant pressure ulcer. He had obviously been left in the same position for a VERY long time to develop a pressure ulcer that massive. He was crying out in pain and shaking constantly, he couldn’t walk, he couldn’t stand, he was knocking on death’s door and had to be put down at the emergency vet the very next morning. To say Fleur Pet Hospital dropped the ball is a colossal understatement. They caused tremendous pain and suffering for Oliver, who was totally dependent on them, and unimaginable grief for my sister who trusted them. On top of her grief, she was asked to pay MORE money for their subpar, incompetent care. Her last memory of her dog who she was with for 18 YEARS is this travesty. What they did was negligent and unforgivable.

I hadn't been here in nearly a decade after moving aways away - but having recently bought a house nearby and a puppy.. figured I'd go back to the nearby vet. I'm glad to see nothing has changed (except the covid regulations) in their level of service. Picard says thanks!

I have used this office for 3 years. I have spent several thousand dollars on my dog. I have always paid my bill at the time of service. Yesterday I picked up a (partial) prescription for my dog. To avoid using my credit card I asked if they would take my debit card info and run the payment today...they said I would need to pay for it up front before they would give it to me. First of all, loyalty obviously means nothing...then I was expected to pay $148 for half of the prescription and trust them to give me the other half when it comes in! I’m very disappointed the way this was handled. The rating is for this experience only!

I have always felt that you offer only quality service. Unfortunately, Tammy seems to feel differently. I'll try to talk her into coming to see you again.

The entire staff is great here even with me having a difficult dog. They are always helpful and really seem to care about Mocha!!!! Hands down the best vet I've used I even drive past countless other vets to the opposite side of town because they are that good.

I love the staff at Fleur Pet Hospital. I have taken all of my kitties to them, and know my fur babies are in good hands. I have two sets of brother and sister cats, and I really appreciate that the staff is able to schedule their appointments together - not only does it save me a trip, but my babies always have the comfort of their sibling. We recently lost our lovely Roman, who was a senior, but FPH did everything they possibly could to help him while he was hurting; unfortunately it was just his time. The staff loves our pets as we do, and they prove it with every visit. Even after we moved across town, I refuse to take my babies anywhere else. Thank you so much for everything you have done for Kelise, Kevin, Gemma, Ghost, and Roman. I always look forward to my next visit, knowing my pets’ health is the top priority! P.S. The staff loved Roman so much. I gave them a picture of him and it’s on their wall, that to me is real love and dedication to animal health.

Took my dog in for ear medicine something I thought would be a quick fix, was prescribed medicines, then made a follow up appointment 2 weeks later to make sure the ears we’re getting better. They seemed to be getting better but for my second appointment they tell me the medication I’m giving him isn’t going to work unless he has surgery. Something I feel they should of known if they looked at his ears the first appointment I took him to?? But I set up an appointment for surgery with them anyway even though I found that What they did there to be pretty untrustworthy. They gave me an estimation so I had a few days to come up with the money. Until the DAY before his surgery they call me, and now he needs all this other stuff done before he can be put under..saying they thought he was up to date but now he’s not after being in there two times they figure out the day before he has surgery all of a sudden they find something thats not up to date. Well I think they are scammers just trying to line there pockets. Oh and don’t count on just going in and getting what your pet needs done because they’ll make you get everything THEY think your dog needs before they actually fix what’s really wrong.

All my children are patients at the Fleur Pet Hospital. As much as they hate going to the vet, they are given so much love and comfort while they are there!

Dr. Lisa Williams first started treating my animals when she was working at the Altoona Pet Hospital, and after she opened up Fleur Pet Hospital I started driving from Altoona to her new location. She is a fantastic vet, and the rest of her staff share her love and compassion for animals. I would (and do) highly recommend Fleur Pet Hospital.

Dr. Williams and her staff have been nothing but amazing to work with these past few months. They are very friendly, compassionate about what they do and most importantly make you feel welcomed. I have come to know this staff and think of them as my second family. They have treated not only my animals well, but me as well. I don't feel like I am coming here to work but I am coming here because they make me feel welcomed every time I walk through that door. When something happened with my dog Dr. Williams took my concerns and made me feel better about them. She listened to me when I needed to talk to somebody about them. This clinic is one that I will never forget about and I will continue to come here for treatment. Athena, Velvet, and I are all very fortunate to have been here and to have worked with everybody here. Dr. Williams and her staff. Thank you so much for these past wonderful months. I truly appreciate everything you have done for me and my animals.

Fleur Pet Hospital is awesome! They take great care of my dog and are always super patient with her and her needs. They were able to trim her nails with no problem when other offices said she’d need to be sedated. They were able to trim them without sedating her or giving her anti anxiety meds! I’d recommend them to anyone!:)

I truly can not express enough how much I love the Doctor and staff at Fleur Pet. We have an elderly fur baby, 13.5yrs old, that has had a few scares over the last 2 yrs. The staff not only takes care of Zoey but takes time to comfort me, then later call to follow up so they can check on Zoey. In June, we really were concerned it was time to say goodbye to our fur baby. The doctor requested Zoey spend the day at the vet with her so she could monitor and examine her. The biggest concern was Zoey's quality of life. We wanted to know... Are we keeping her too long, is it time to say goodbye? The doctor recommended Zoey to start taking a natural arthritis medicine- we do a combo of 2 types. I apologize I can't remember the names of the meds. But if you have an aging pet, PLEASE ask the doctor for the natural meds to help with aches, pains, discomfort for your aging fur babies. It makes a HUGE difference. We took Zoey in today for her annual shots. The staff said Zoey's behavior was a big turn around since June. They could tell she was feeling better... not snipping at them and was her sweet self. I fully trust the doctor and staff to love and care for Zoey as if she was their own.
