I cannot praise the team at Afford A Care enough for the quality service and care they provide my pets.

No complaints here. Roscoe has been going to Afford a Care for 4 years now maybe 5 and he always is being taken care of just fine. All the staff are wonderful wonderful people keep up the great work.

They really helped take care of my kittens vaccinations at a low cost and helped me with the other things needed to keep them healthy and happy. I am extremely grateful and they are absolutely wonderful. Would recommend 100 percent to everyone!!!

Great service and wonderful staff, couldn't ask for better care for my fur babies. We wouldn't go anyway other than the spay clinic, thank you for your excellent service.

We really appreciate the time and hospitality this team gave our family over the years. Our dog can be a bit of a baby at times, but this crew stuck with us. They could've easily turned us away after he was neutered. They know the story. Lastly, my wife and I moved further away from them but the team still was helpful in transferring his records to our new Vet. They did it without a thought. This team truly cares about your pet family and anyone starting out with a pet for the first time should definitely bring them here! Thank you all so much. We will miss you.

When I had first got my two dogs, they were pups. Puppies need their round of shots and I was closer to Ankeny at the time so I took them to a vet there. I was shocked when they told me that it would be $500 for all the puppy shots. I don't cry over money but I did in this instance. $500?? Nobody can afford that. I was a broke college student but I knew I had to take care of my puppies so I looked up some affordable options and afford-a-care came up. This place has been our blessing. VERY reasonable prices and they are always helpful and quick! Love this place. I vote to build these in every town!!

I love that this place exists!! The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Good care doesn’t mean expensive. And it’s a relief that I know that I can have great healthcare available for my dogs. Check them out - you and your animals will be delighted!

Good place, good people, good prices. You'd think after 10 years and three pets that's a lot of business at some point a loyal customer discount?

I love afford a care!!! I’ve been going for years and they’re always so good with my animals.

Quick and easy. Went in without an appointment and was done in less then an 1 1/2. Not bad with so many others also coming in without an appointment. Even got meds for my puppy who was limping right there at the clinic.

My pets got what was needed here since I couldn't afford the steep prices of other places. The staff was nice and able to handle my pet's needs as soon as possible.

It could not have been made better. Staff was friendly, caring and I commend them for braving the elements to care for pets during COVID-19. a fantastic group of people!

Hard to get ahold of

Take all our fur babies here, always happy with this place, COVID precautions they take might bother some, I don't mind. Be safe. It is their store, I respect that, as should everyone else.

The staff are hard working and friendly especially when the staff works harder in these times.

Affordable pet care. Great place for puppy vaccinations. Very friendly staff.

DO NOT take your pet to this vet. Find somewhere else. Our regular vet was closed for the day and we brought our yorkie/Pomeranian mix in as she was continuously vomiting and had bloody diarrhea. They quickly sent her home with anti nausea and anti diarrhea medication. After taking the anti nausea medication she proceeded to vomit profusely for the next several hours. My husband and I both attempted to contact them numerous times to see if they had given her any other medication at her visit (as they were not communicative during the visit) or if we should bring her back in. They did not answer their phone nor return our message. We ended up taking her to Blue Pearl Pet Hospital where she was admitted due to a blockage in her intestines. Blue Pearl also attempted to contact them to get a copy of the blood work they ran and the medication they administered- they did not send it to them. It was a very scary and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this veterinary to anyone nor will I be returning.

Ridiculous place, they don’t answer phone calls, they’re very demanding with the walk-in, this morning I had to return at home with my sick dog, because they refused to attend me. ????

Best place to take your pet.

They don't let anyone inside but they were quick in taking care of the animals. The staff was very friendly as well

Initial visit was OK my dog needs tumor surgery and was told someone would call me to set up surgery noone called to schedule and I called them again and asked about surgery on message line never received a call back so my experience is not to good still need surgery
