Took my chihuahua in today. For a routine check for change of parenthood due to a death. Was given a cost over the phone. Took that amount with me and they seemed disturbed and became rude when I wouldn't pay for the extra tests at this time . She has lost weight due to depression of both her previous parents passing. Will take her to my pitties vet next time for second opinion. Plus no comments of underweight or weightloss when she was under the weight she is now when her previous parents had her.

We have been going seeing Dr. Weber for nearly 15 years. Always professional and empathetic. Always receive quick responses with questions for our pets. There are closer vets to our home but Dr. Weber and his staff are easily worth driving across town for their care and professionalism.

Can not recommend Cedar Rapids Animal Hospital enough. I was extremely stressed out over a situation with my kitten, and our regular vet could not see her until a week out. CRAH squeezed her in and was generally concerned about my cat and what was going on with her. They kept her overnight, and did not charge us for it, to take tests and monitor her, and called me with news in the morning. They were extremely helpful with answering all of my questions, giving advice, and understanding all of my concerns. I called every vet in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area, and CRAH genuinely cared about my kitten when no one else was accepting new patients. They heard my concerns and took me seriously. I cannot recommend them enough to future customers. As a stressed out cat mom, I have never felt more comforted by a vet before.

Staff were very friendly as well as helpful. The vet, Dr. Weber spent time with the dragon checking him over and giving him eye drops. Great place to go to.

I usually vet with VCA Edgewood animal hospital, but when my ferret was sick a few months ago, they couldn’t get her in for a week or more. They got us in the same day we called for an appointment. We found out she had cancer and a tumor, and we went back a few days later to put her down. All the staff was polite and sympathetic. They sent me a hand written card in the mail for my loss.

I can usually get an appointment quickly. Even if it's been a long time they remember my cat. I like they are one of the only places that let you go in person since other places have been known to drug your animal with curbside. The way everything is set up is very minimal contact while still getting that face to face human interaction

They murdered my baby.. on Tuesday April 20th I had an appointment for my baby rat Mango for respiratory issues. After the vet told me to keep her quarantined and sanitary the assistant took her to the back without even asked or even looking at me.. they proceeded to pass her around like a toy to take photos of her. They even raised their voices at her when she wouldn't stay still. When they showed me how to give her her medicine the syringe was to big and they dislocated her jaw.. not even two minutes after her appointment she died in my hands from stress.. they told me it was her respiratory issues..

Amazing people in the office - as evidenced by my puppy who is VERY clingy to me not wanting to leave THEM! They are a little on the pricier side but they're not, by far, the most expensive. They've listened to all my concerns about her and addressed them without blowing them off (she's a frenchie so they're prone to issues). Oh! Also, they have an online pet records portal which is kinda cool. All in all, a good office.

We always feel our pets are in great, knowledgeable hands here. They understand urgent situations do pop up, and they always make immediate time for us. CR Animal Hospital is an excellent facility, comprised of a very caring, professional, staff.

Placed my order and paid for supplies and food over the phone, order was waiting outside, so no need to go in during this pandemic. Everyone is always super nice and helpful, my pets have always gotten excellent care here!

I will not be returning because the vets think it's necessary to drug my dog every time we come in... At first it was just to clip his nails. So I said ok. Bought the medicine and rescheduled. The next time they said they still couldn't do it and sent us home with more meds to add on top of that (so 6 pills total). I then took him to PetCo and they did it fast with no problems at all (I watched them). Went back to the vet a month later for shots etc and they brought him back out saying they couldn't do it and he needs to have all 6 pills for every visit. My dog is a big sweet puppy and seeing him on all that medicine made me sad and I think people who work at a vet clinic should be able to do their job and make the animal feel safe and loved and happy without drugs!

We have been taking our dogs to CRAH for almost 20 years and the staff has always been wonderful. Everyone knows us and the dogs and always has out best interests at heart. We have recommended their services to many family and friends

All the people, docs and assistants, are so caring and kind. My pets are not upset when they have to go to the vet! Highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Weber and his team are amazing. After trying a few veterinarian clinics in our area and being unhappy with all, it was a relief to find Cedar Rapids Animal Hospital. They genuinely care about the animals and their owners. They don't feel like an operation that is simply trying to upsell you on special dog food. When I was conflicted about the decision to put one of my elderly, sick dogs down, Dr Weber and his team were kind, informative, and supportive.

My boyfriend took our dog, Allie and they were very nice and patient with her even thought she wasn't a very socialized dog. They handled her very well.

I took my sister here because her kitten got sick from a neighbor's pet. They did not have Tiko for more than 10-15 min, they diagnose with ringworm and charge $40+ for a $25 shampoo on top of bogus ~$70 fee just to get the cat in. What a scam, the receptionist was also rude.
