I have been taking my dog to Ames Pet Hospital since she was a wee pup, she turns five this year! As soon as we turn down the street towards the building she starts whining and pacing with excitement in the back seat. She can never get in the building fast enough! We have also taken my son's cat there for the same amount of time. She's a cat and doesn't seem to really care. LOL I have always been treated kindly by all of the staff. I highly recommend Ames Pet Hospital.

I have taken both my cats to Ames Pet Hospital for years and I always have professional and knowledgeable staff and great service.

They are not being very helpful lately. I asked for a couple of prescriptions to be mailed to be and one.I never received which ended up costing me over $200 more since I didn't receive it and they other one the vet didn't have the ability to prescription prescribe my dog's seizure med which made me have to get him partial doses and as a result he has had 2 seizures in just over a week. Thanks so much????

I have 2 dogs and a cat, Zumi, Marley, and Leonie that go to the Ames Pet Hospital when needed. I have gone to this clinic for a couple of decades and will never change. They are warm, caring and have great expertise. I always feel listened to and I get the information that I need. Everyone who works there is professional and very responsive. My animal friends are treated with genuine affection and that's important to me.

Our 15 year old cat was having eating issues and the staff was very responsive and helpful in our getting an appointment with Dr. Moeller. Dr. Moeller made some suggestions & recommendations before and during the appointment. Our cat is doing much better. Thank you!

Our Pets are given excellent care at Ames Pet hospital. The staff is very caring to our dogs needs. We are always taken care of!!

They are caring with my kitties and don't push me into treatments I don't think are right for us. Been very happy with them.

I've taken my dog here a few times for normal check-ups and more serious health reasons. Every time they've been very helpful and taken great care of my dog. I just wish they'd work with Chewy more easily for our prescription needs.

They are always there to care for my pet with the best quality care when other vets are not.

Wonderful place! Dr. Miller walked right in and got in the floor with our dogs to make them more comfortable! She even moved the table in the room to give my smaller anxious dog a little more space. This is the best veterinary hospital we have ever been to!

I've used this vet for over a year and never had a bad experience. They're very professional and kind! And now you can reach them over email if you have questions and can't come in for a visit. It is a little more expensive than other vets in the area, but the service more than makes up for it!

The docs here are great and always take good care of our fur babies. Helpful staff with questions and will email me records if needed.

I just moved to the area and took my dog to Ames Pet Hospital and it was a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and took great care of my dog. They even called me to follow up and make sure she was still doing ok.

I took my cat to this vet for two years, and as a budget-conscious student I appreciated that they will be upfront with what procedure(s) they recommend and how much they were going to cost. They also gave the impression of really caring about the animals, and put in the effort to find the root cause of any medical issues.

We have found another vet even though our cat and dog have been patients with them for over ten years. As they age there have been unexpected health issues that have risen. Cannot hope to see a vet in under a week regardless of the health issue. For routine care we had no complaints.
