As a new client of Curbside Care Mobile Vet Clinic, I am beyond impressed!! Dr. Zaring and her assistant Leanne, spent 3 hours yesterday treating my elderly dog. They were thorough, compassionate, and so accommodating. Aside from the convenience of coming directly to my home, I very much appreciated that I was welcomed into the mobile van to be with my dog to keep her calm—all COVID precautions being taken. Treatment and procedures were explained, and nothing was rushed. For the first time in a long while, I feel that Dr. Zaring offered an action plan, and there was some hope going forward to making my dog as comfortable as possible. Her van is well equipped to handle all procedures. I am so happy to have found this service, and highly recommend.

Prescriptions are required to go to their on-line pharmacy, the Rx was “OUT OF STOCK”, assistant prescribed another pain med which was also out of stock. Finally sent a paper Rx via email (third time is a true charm!). Assistant encouraged me to fill Rx at Costco but when I dropped off Rx, the generic had to be “ok’d” by Dr). I received a call from Costco the next morning because Dr Zaring CANCELLED the Rx. Prior to receiving the call from Costco, I received a call from Dr Zaring stating that I was “yelling” at her assistant via text message because my text was in ALL CAPS with explanation points! ( see attached! This text was three days prior - on a Friday - to sending me the written Rx via email and cancelled Rx was Tuesday). I mean, who wouldn’t be upset when they keep getting Prescribed “out of stock” prescriptions?! What’s going on here?! Dr Zaring stated in the call that she sent me three emails the previous day in which, she did not - two prescriptions and one referral to a specialist, I received one email Rx in which she cancelled. I asked her to forward the emails and she declined then declined my dog as her patient (in which on the second time she saw my dog, she had no record OR recollection of seeing her the first time!). So here’s my dog left in pain because after THREE tries, Dr Zaring failed her and left her without treatment. My dogs last appointment with Dr Zaring was March 23, 2021 (five months and $560 for a senior wellness exam prior to this rating. Five months ago, I would have rated this mobile clinic at three stars because she didn’t have record of Maggie and upon my request, did not prescribe anything for urinary incontinence.). I felt something wasn’t right with this entire situation so with a little investigation, I came across the fact that Curbside Care Veterinary Mobile Clinic is operating under an EXPIRED BUSINESS LICENSE, as of my search on 8/31/21 (screen shot/photo attached). Save your money and find a veterinarian who cares about your animals well-being and not the profits via an online pharmacy (btw, if your animal needs pain meds immediately, it’s $20 for 1-2 day shipping).

I appreciated the bedside manner of the Vet and Vet Tech that visited. They took good care of my cat, allowed me to stay inside and talk with them about the treatment while working, and were respectful regarding what I did and did not want regarding treatment. I have switched all our pets over to Curbside Care!

Curbside Care Mobile Vet was a new experience for us.We were very happy and relieved that they were able to help us so efficiently and kindly with our , somewhat ,nervous dog Molly.I have had a hip replacement and couldn't get to the vet, easily, plus Covid has disrupted everyone's life. The doctor and her assistant were easy to talk to and non judgemental. We will definitely use them again. A big ,big "thank you" from my family.

Curbside Care is the best clinic around! They take great care of my dog Dakota and pull up right in front of your house to avoid the hassle of making an appointment and driving. Dr. Zaring and her team are very clear about examinations and how you should proceed with your pet. Very easy and desirable experience!

I have three cats, all rescues and all acquired when they were kittens. They are now 16 years old. Through interstate moves, post-graduate education, family tragedies, through births and deaths, I have taken care of my animals and indeed, maintained a commitment to their lifelong care. I had made an appointment for annual check-ups for two of my cats. My Wendell is a 16-year-old obese diabetic who is not as spry as he used to be. He has difficulty keeping his shaggy posterior fur clean, and I had tried to groom him and remove some of this hair but I had cut too close to the epidermis and hurt him a bit. I was looking forward to the vet visit to have professionals help with this and other delicate problems, as I clearly did not have the knack. Dr. Zaring and company came to see my Wendell and, after a brief visit with him, she came into my home, and in the middle of my living room, proceeded to accuse me of animal neglect and threatened to call the authorities (see attached documentation). She accused me of neglecting my two other cats with whom she had absolutely no contact. In fact, I had taken my cats to their long-time vet for dental care – a provider who has over 20 years of experience with feline dental extractions. She conjectured that my diabetic cat’s diabetes was ‘probably’ out of control, but she did not do any testing on him, so really had no idea. She said that he gained a pound, but actually, he was 22 pounds and had lost 2 pounds. Newsflash: people who neglect their animals don’t take their pets to the vet. I wish she would have called the pet authorities on me, because they would have found a clean comfortable home, plenty of cozy places for cats to rest, a litter box that gets scooped daily, and plenty of fresh food and water (see pictures). They would have found in the refrigerator insulin that costs $330 per bottle. They would have found veterinarian-recommended cat food that costs $63 per 7.7 oz bag. According to her report, she was angered by finding that my cat had long nails, dirty ears and fur that had feces and urine on it. Isn’t it a vet’s job to trim nails, clean ears and partner with pet owners for the well-being of the animals? I am not a veterinarian and I am not qualified to diagnose ear infections. I needed expert help with my animals, which is why I called for her services. Her willful ignorance, false assumptions and self-righteousness were cruel, hurtful, insulting, and simply not true. Her accusations of animal neglect and her desire to report me to the authorities are truly not helpful in any way. I do not know if Dr. Zaring is capable of humility and honest self-reflection in such a way that my comments may be taken to heart, but one can hope. In the end, I paid $160 for her to trim my cat’s nails. We are lucky in Indy to have a number of terrific vets who are actually willing to partner in a non-judgmental way with pet owners. There are a number of vets who specialize only in cats if that is what you want. If you want a vet who will do house calls, there are a number of great ones that do this as well.

Fantastic experience with the mobile clinic. They were able to work us in on short notice (which I know isn't always easy!), took great care of our 2 dogs, and provided sound advice. Great staff, great facility on wheels, and great that I didn't have to load 2 big dogs into the car! Would highly recommend!
