Everyone there gives outstanding customer service. Their concern and obvious care for Inca is exceptional. Always an outstanding experience dealing with the doctors and staff at MRAH at 96th.

Love Dr. Klarquist at this vet clinic! He is taking great care to help me figure out why my dog has been limping for 9 months. He even walked outside with me to watch the dog at a walk and a run. He is thorough and kind and takes time to listen to my rambling thoughts as well :). I would hands down definitely recommend Dr. Klarquist at the north location of Michigan Road Animal Hospital. Excellent veterinarian. The clinic is also very clean and the techs and front desk staff are wonderful! Their covid protocol has actually come in handy for me. My dog doesn't always get along with other dogs, so with only one person going in at a time after a phone or text check in, I no longer have to worry about sitting in a waiting room with other dogs. Although it wasn't too bad even when I had to do that, because they separate the dog and cats into separate waiting spaces. That was a great idea. I always felt so bad for the cats who had to sit next to dogs who clearly wanted to eat them (lol). I wasn't a fan of the former covid protocol, which didn't allow me to come into the appointment with my dog. But the way things are set up now, works great!

I've brought all of my dogs to Michigan Road Animal Hospital for years, including our two most recent Newfies (Barney & Takoda). Everyone from the front desk, Lauren the groomer, to the techs in the back are amazing. Dr. K, Dr. Wilson and Dr. Arvin are all very caring and take the time to listen to your concerns and explain everything so you understand. They definitely care just as much about your fur babies as you do! We are moving out of state soon and our biggest wish is that our next vet will be half as good as this group!

After over a year of patronage for 4 different animals they called my family and told us they wouldn’t be treating our dog anymore because of her office anxiety. They gave no warning, no indication this was coming. In fact, I had brought her in a few weeks prior and we’d discussed her annual visit plans. Furthermore, the conversation I had with the Dr I spoke to took about 40 seconds; he was very curt and clearly had no desire to actually try and communicate with me thoughtfully about what my next steps are as a dog mom. If you don’t have the staff to support a dog with office anxiety, that’s fine. However, the manner in which their refusal of treatment was handled was unprofessional, inconsiderate, and ultimately damaging to my dog’s physical well-being. She’s now past due for her vaccinations (they told me they wouldn’t treat her anymore when I called to schedule her annual). What’s more is the “referral” they gave me for a Veterinary Behaviorist doesn’t even actually provide physical treatment. I now have to try and find a new place to get my dog her vaccinations before the Behaviorist will even see her to try and help with her office anxiety. Again, it’s not the refusal of service that bothers me, it’s the way they went about it. The treatment and care they provide is adequate. However, if you’re looking for a vet office that you can rely on and trust- I would definitely suggest continuing your search!!

everyone was great. I had a semi-emergency (bee sting), and you were able to see my dog right away.

Our vet is Dr. Arvin who took care of our sick cat. We failed to update our phone number with them so Dr. Arvin wrote us a detailed email early the next day with the laboratory findings, provisional diagnoses and treatment options. I pick up my email late in the day and sent her an updated phone number. She called early the next day and we further discussed the lab findings and next steps. She spent the time necessary to answer all my questions. She ended the call by asking if there was anything else. Rarely do I hear this type of open ended question from a professional of her stature at the end of a conversation. I think it reflects the concern and respect that the professionals at Michigan Road Animal Hospital have for the patient and owners. I am a retired health care provider myself and have full confidence that my beloved elderly cat will receive the best care possible from this veterinarian group. And the front desk and staff make this all a pleasant experience.

Always provide the best service. They treat my pets like they are their own. Excellent bedside manners both for pets and for owners. I have been using them for over 35 years and they have only improved over time. They are the best! I wouldn't trust my fur babies with anyone else!

I brought my new puppy to Michigan Road animal Hospital. The only reason for my four-star review is because I couldn’t go in side with my dog because of Covid. I understand protocol so will give a more in-depth review once I can actually go inside. But the staff was very helpful and Dr. Arvin was great on the phone.

I love Michigan Road Animal Hospital at 96th Street. I started taking my dog there a couple of years ago and I couldn't be happier. It isn't just about the money and dipping into your wallet, they truly care about your animal and I couldn't ask for more. Dr. Arvin is the best and is always willing to answer questions and offer continued follow-up. It truly is a wonderful place!

The vets and vet techs along with the admin staff are always pleasant and professional. My dogs are never timid or shy when going into the office because they’ve never felt threatened even after receiving multiple shots or minor surgeries. During these COVID times the staff has ensured we are all safe by using technology to communicate. The staff take the dogs inside while we remained outside the offices safely in our car. Once again demonstrating their professionalism and compassion for everyone.

I had to leave a review because Doctor Arvin is awesome. She was so kind to listen to our situation and help us find the best route in care for our older dog. We switched from another vet in the area to Michigan road animal hospital a while ago and I’m so pleased. I highly recommend this team and especially Doctor Arvin!

We have been taking our Dog Sophie here for almost 4 years. They have always taken great care of her and we have been so pleased. Dr. K did a bladder stone surgery on her several years ago and we were so thankful for the care he provided. I would recommend anyone to bring their fur baby here!

I’ve taken my fur baby to Dr Klarquist for years. The staff are all amazing and the vets are all kind, compassionate, and informative. They don’t try to upsell or oversell on anything. Communication is clear and knowledgeable and they are always available for any questions. Would definitely recommend anyone to put their pets health & trust in the practice.

A wonderful veterinary practice that cares for your pet. Dr. Robin Wilson is awesome and very caring. She picks up the phone to call you, let you know how things are going, and I always know my dog is in good hands at this practice. Highly recommend them!

I take my Grandpup here and they are amazing. We are first pet owners so we are not very knowledgeable but not once has Drs or techs rushed us off the phone nor talk to us answering every question asked regardless to how insufficient it may appear to be. They do not take advantage of one being afraid and clueless to what is needed and/or if test are needed or not. They are kind, professional and very thorough in their examinations, diagnosis and the in which is given. They call when stated and even do courtesy calls after treatment is given to check on your pet not to have you bring them in to add up more money but to make sure your pet is okay and the process of healing is going the way in which it should. They have suggested over the counter meds if it can do the job instead of always using a prescription drug. All and all I would recommend to any pet owner and I am graceful to have found them and changed from Banfield. I trust them with not only Gaius's care but more than anything I trust them with my heart because Gaius is part of our family (he's not just a dog) and a portion of my heart belongs to him. Thank you for taking the time to read and know you're in good hands with Dr. Goodman and the staff at the Michigan Road Animal Hospital @ 96th Street. D. Harris, Gaius's Granna

The vets have always been readily available to answer questions and provide detailed information about their findings. Never had to wait for an appointment. Desk staff are friendly. I like how everyone interacts with my pets.

The Michigan Road Animal Hospitals have always been our #1 go to for pet care. We have used the 96th Street location as our primary vet but also Crooked Creek. Their staff is thorough, answer any question and provide owner education to keep your pet healthy and safe. Choose this practice to care for your fur baby. You will not be disappointed.

You do a great job there. It's rough with Covid and there was a problem reaching me through my phone but I tried later and Verizon must have trouble when all the lines are full. Otherwise, things worked well especially during these trying times. I'm glad Luke and Leia are in Dr. Klarquist's care!!! The doctors and technicians have always given excellent care to all of our pets and given us great advice over what we should do at certain tough times. They helped get us through a collapsed disc with our old Labrador retriever and we had another 1 1/2 years with him. We wouldn't take our pets anywhere else!
