This is only place we've gone for yrs, they show such love and concern for your fur babies. They break everything down to understandable diagnosis. I highly recommend this clinic and also attached Klondike Kennel.

We switched vets this summer for our 3-year old rescue dog and I don't think I'll go anywhere else other than Blair! Dr. Lisa has been such a great vet the two times we've visited. Our dog is quite anxious and doesn't handle new people or situations well, but she has been patient and understanding. The vet tech, Jim, is phenomenal as well, and my pup loves him! Both take the time to listen to our concerns and make a plan for addressing any issues we've had with our dog. I think their prices are reasonable and fair as well, and they have been up front about everything before giving care. We've also used their training services. We worked primarily with Dana and she is a lifesaver. She taught us a lot of tricks to calm our dog's anxiety and help him handle new situations more calmly. He is a completely different dog with the combined help of Dr. Lisa and Dana!

Dr Lisa and her assistant Jim were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. The compassion they showed with our dog Tucker was so heartfelt and comforting. We wouldn’t take an animal anywhere else. Lisa took my many calls without hesitation and spoke to me as a friend when speaking of the care options. She and Jim made our experience as good as it could have been under the circumstances with Tucker’s health. Thank you for such a loving experience. I wish that could have a good experience to share after the first and definitely the last visit. Obtaining an appointment was surpassingly easy, with few time options to choose from for that particular day. We were able to schedule the visit with out sick cat for the very next day, however that was the only positive experience. Actually one more positive, the clinic staff we did interact with was pleasant and professional until we were “introduced” to Alphonso or Alfonso. He was a little difficult to communicate with not just because of his accent but inability to concentrate on the critical medical informations we were offering or unable to answer some basic question about our cat condition or surgery arrangements. We had to visit Purdue Emergency Clinic for the small animals last weekend with our 8.5 years old cat “Onyx”. He was diagnosed there with the bladder stones, a common urinary issue for the male cats between 6 - 9 years of age. They recommended to see a regular vet to schedule a possible stones removal surgery. At the time of the visit at Blair Animal Clinic we provided all of written medical history, however Alphonso didn’t take his time to read informations before walking outside to talk with us. Informations or result of the medical exam he just performed were not communicated until I had to asked for it. No written exam results other than the invoice for $61.00. (???) My wife and I were under strong impression that Alphonso during our conversation was more interested psychologically profiling us than medical informations of our cat. I have a good reasons to believe that he profiles pet owner to access risk and filters out owners with high of expectations or too concern about success of the “care” they are offering. Basically, our impression was that they are set up to make quic and easy money without any risk or possible complications. What a clinic! After getting an estimate and scheduling the bladder stones removal surgery we left the place convinced that our cat will be taking care of. Shortly after arriving home he called us and informed that after reviewing the x-ray pictures obtained from Purdue the cat bladder had to many stones and they are unable to help. It contradicts the Purdue ER vet accessing that the surgery similar to our cat case common with the high rate of success. Alphonso simply refused to help after receiving a payment for the visit specifically scheduled to arrange for the surgery. At one point during the telephone conversation he proposed that we have an option to “surrender our cat” so he could be taking care of!!! I guess “donate” him to the science !!! Outrageous and very cruel proposition. Because of an experience with Alphonso I would strongly advise against taking your pets to the Blair Animal Clinic. Either they are not comfortable or under qualified to perform any common surgeries or prefer the easier cassis to make quick $$$. They have made $61.00 on us easy. There is more to this story but I do not want to make it too long. Please stay away from the Blair Animal Clinic mainly because of Alphonso inability to be direct in communication and honest! It was not just a great disappointment but also very upsetting experience. What world is the Alphonso from?

Dishonest Business Practice 4/25/20201: Open hours are short on weekend. Saturday 9AM-12PM. Sunday 4PM-6PM. They charge per the day for the kennel so if you leave your dog there for just one day they will charge you for two. All other places in town charge by the night. While the price is lower, since they are double charging, I cannot recommend.

They were absolutely amazing with my cat. We were first time patients and they made us feel comfortable. They took the time to explain things clearly so we understood the process during covid. The Vet was so friendly and made sure we understood what was needed for our pet's health for the future. I am truly happy with my experience.

New to the area and needed to get our fur babies established with a new vet. Blair animal clinic was recommended by a neighbor. Staff here really seemed to listen and care about our pets. One of our little guys does not have a great track record with visits, or other people in general, but seemed to do fairly well his first visit here.

Took my cat in for vaccinations. Vet said cat wouldn’t cooperate and they couldn’t do a felv test. Was quoted a price without the test. I was charged for other things to make up that difference. They also requested I bring my cat back for vaccine boosters. Something I’ve never heard of doing before. I was charged $126 for a rabies and fdrc vaccine and ear mites. Double the cost I was quoted.

Blair Animal Clinic has been my regular veterinary clinic for my late cat who had to be put to sleep due to untreatable cancer this week. Their staff has been caring and compassionate over the years and were especially so euthanizing my cat. I would recommend them for routine pet care and services.

Unfortunately, we just had to put our 16 yr old fur baby to sleep, they were very compassionate and understanding with us. They do see our other animals as well, wouldn't go anywhere else!

Costly visit. They are still following CDC protocol and you can't enter the offices. Pet care is excellent.

Went there for an emergency visit. The doctor ran every unnecessary test possible (and charged us for each one), only to come to the conclusion that our dog needed a $3000 surgery at purdue. We even told him we didn't want the parvo test because he told us himself it was extremely unlikely, and the symptoms didn't match, but he pushed us into getting it because he "couldnt make a good diagnosis without it." Since he was obviously clueless, we went to another clinic the same night. A couple tests later, they gave us some medicine and sent us home. Our dog is perfectly healthy now, NO thanks to Blair Animal Clinic.

Poor management and some less than professional staff members. Please review the attached image with my review

Class act. They never fail to convey that our pets are of utmost importance. They quickly answer all your questions and very respectful of the pandemic requirements that keep us all safe. They did an outstanding job with Gus Gus's neutering. He returned home today and is doing outstanding. Their laser surgery option seems to be accelerating his healing.
