The staff here is so welcoming. My husband and I love Jennifer. She is so sweet and she treats Finn like royalty. We will never go anywhere else.

ZERO STARS really! I saw a coupon for a free 1st exam, so I head over with my cat (that doesn't like car rides - 20 mins too). I go in and introduce myself and when asked why I'm there mentioned that my cat has a problem, so I wanted her checked out. I also mentioned that I have a coupon for the 1st exam. "Oh, I don't know about that", came the response, "I'll have to ask about that." After about 5 mins she comes back and says they will take it "this time". All the while my cat was not happy and getting more restless. They put us in a room within 10 mins and I was able to get my cat to calm down after about another 15 mins. The doctor's assistant came in and after a short chat said, "Ok, I'm going to take her and we'll be right back." I was not ready for that, because all other vets I've been to, they do the exam right in front of me so my cat can draw comfort from me being present. After awhile, probably 10 mins, the assistant comes back and says that they could not do the exam because my cat was too wild. They've got her in a room right now with pheromones to calm her down. So after about another 10 mins the assistant brings my cat back. My cat is a nervous wreck. Hissing, crying and ready to get out of there. Before I left, the assistant made sure to tell me when we come back for another appointment in which they can schedule more time to sedate her to be able to work on her, the appointment wouldn't be free, I used up the coupon with this visit. After leaving, and thinking about the experience, it seems fishy to me that "this free exam", in which they did absolutely nothing for my cat, but only traumatized her, was scrubbed just in order to not have to honor the coupon. I've never been to a place that was so focused on a coupon that they advertised, but apparently hoped no one would see or try to get away with not honoring it when you come. This was the worst experience with any vet's office I've been too. It's not like the coupon was a big deal to me anyway, but since I saw it I decided to give this vet a try. Never again!!!

Wonderful staff. The amount of love and care coming from them as we walked through the door, made it a great experience. They made finalizing “rescuing” my boy much easier. He’s a happy and healthy dog now, thanks to them.

My concerns about my dogs health were ignored at my previous vet, but lo and behold: within minutes of examination, VCA discovered my dog was on the cusp of forming an abcess and needed medication intervention immediately. We will be switching our services to VCA and could not be more grateful for the help. Also, Jordan helped me mop out an astonishing amount of mess that my carsick dog left in my car. She's a champion, be nice to her.

We've been taking our dog here since we moved to Ohio 5 years ago. Everyone at the office is so friendly and they are so good to him. The ability to schedule appointments and get documents is so easy and they're very flexible. Since we moved from our apartment to a house it's a little further away but it's worth the drive to me. Even during COVID, I wasn't able to go back with my dog and had to sit in the exam room and wait and I could hear the vets and techs in the back talking to him and I could hear how he reacted and it was comforting to know that even out of my sight, they still talk to him so sweetly, especially since he has bad separation anxiety. I would absolutely recommend their care.

Had been a client for 27 years! Found a new vet yesterday after a very inefficient and unprofessional management of the number of waiting patients in cars! Very full lot! No one answered the phone (we were supposed to call to tell them we were in the parking lot for our appt.) Lady in car next to me had an appt. scheduled for a half hour BEFORE mine. No one called BEFORE I packed up my kitties and drove all the way up there! I would've been happy to reschedule! No one came out to the waiting cars to inform us of wait time! I had to knock on the door to let them know I was there! Lady was on the phone when I knocked! Informed me that Mondays are very busy!!! Oh really? Why no communication?

We bring 3 dogs and 2 cats to this location. We mostly have good experiences but sometimes we get home and felt we wasted a couple hundred dollars by not receiving the best information. With that being said, it’s still our go to Vet.

After reading through some of the reviews on the page I am surprised that some have had a different experience than us. I want to share my experience. I took my dog in 2 months ago for suspected lymphoma. They did inform me that 99% sure its lymphoma and they can run their tests, but all the signs were there. They sent me home with prednisone and referred me to an oncologist. Rocky was 12 years old the day after we found highly probably lymphoma. I decided to not meet with the oncologist and work a holistic approach. For three weeks we worked with the doctors and the vets here. They answered my text messages at all time of days (even on their days off). When I needed to get my guy in immediately they always made a time for him even if it meant they were going to work later than the clinic was open. In my experience they are more expensive than other vets we have used. That being said we got better service and the most caring people we have ever had. They were incredibly friendly and understanding of our situation. I really cant imagine what more we could have hoped for. Thank you Dr. Black and your staff for your condolence card. We are happy to continue business with this practice with our newest edition :)

Nice staff and easy to work with. Seem a little pricey compared to other vets I've been to. My one complaint is that the vet tech left my dog unattended and he chewed through his leash and they did not offer to replace it.

I took my dog into this vet clinic and just had a expensive weekend and didnt have a whole lot of money left over. An emergency happened with my dog where I had to take her in. I told them i had x amount of dollars to spend and the lady stood outside the door whispering about how i only had so much money and believe me u can hear everything. The vet was very rude to me and if you are not someone that keeps a large checking account this is not the place to go, its in west chester and that sums it up! This is a perfect location for the snoby customer service i recieved and thats not ok for any place that offers a service and charges crazy amounts for every little thing!

So many amazing things this vet does a great job of doing: 1) First and foremost they truely care about your pet, taking the time to assure your pet feels comfortable, especially during COVID, and are recieving the best care. 2) They are communicative with exactly what is going on, what they reccomend and what that means for your wallet and your pet. Explaining options and what that means in the long run - looking in the future. 3) They work with you - they make sure you are taking advantage of the savings and specials they offer. My dog has been on heart worm and flea and tick (Seperate mediation). The last visit they let me know there is a cheaper option WITH money back - how to get the money back and what that means for me in savings and on my pets. 4) When I switched vets, they had my pets records within minutes of booking the appointment to know what would be required for current visit. LOVE this place and love they are looking out for my family. Thank you guys for all you do

Beautiful clinic and compassionate staff! I stopped by with Lap of Love veterinary hospice and they were so nice!

We have been clients for years with multiple dogs. I just don’t feel that the doctors are knowledgeable, that they truly care about the care, and that they aren’t just about making money. After careful consideration we will not be using their services any more. The staff is friendly and kind but they really don’t know about advanced health issues. After a second opinion I found that this office has given us poor advice for years and resulted in the death of our dog. Had I been given better advice he would be alive today. Do your research and choose a different location for your needs.

This place Is going to be my dogs primary care go to. They are very helpful and actually check the dog unlike a few places I've been to. Chomper and bella will definitely start coming here. Today we actually got answers to my dogs fur situation and what we could do to help it cause other places just said anything and moved on to the next problem and we would still leave confused lol. So definitely going to vca from now onwards! *update* after we followed the vet here's advice his fur is growing back and he is just showing off lol

Our pets are part of our family and this practice just didn’t make us feel confident in their knowledge. Everything was about money. They charge for every little thing (pill cutting fee?) and even though they are priced higher than other vets in the area. We were willing to pay more for better service but they just didn’t deliver. When we went else where they were able to pin point the exact issue and resolve it with expertise.

Have been taking our dogs here for years but have occasionally sampled other vets. Have found this group to be very caring and some of the best prices around. Vets can be so expensive. We really appreciate their reasonable rates coupled with high quality medical care. Our pets seem to be the least afraid here as well, due to their gentle approach. Very friendly and kind. Could use more evening or weekend hours, but overall you won't find much better than the Lakota Hills team.

The prices are higher than other locations in the area. The vet was making guesses about the issue. We took our pet to a different center and they knew right away what the problem was and gave them the treatment they needed. If you just need vaccinations this is the place for you. If your pet has a health problem this is not where you should be. A checkup missed a big issue and resulted in over $1,000 with nothing resolved. One trip and $100 am another location solved everything and they knew exactly what was wrong.

My family and I's pets have been going here for years. They have always taken wonderful care of our dogs, cats, guniea pigs, etc. They are well priced and in a convenient location with a large area for you to wait in with your pets. They also have cat only times incase your cat hates other animals.

Friendly staff, only complaint is that rx refills cannot be done same day (even on prepackaged flea/heartworm prevention. )

They take great care of my babies. Always with a follow up call to check to make sure they are still ok.
