Caring Hands Animal Hospital Urbana, Indiana

As always, Caring Hands Animal Hospital in Urbana, IL, has lived up to their name. They took excellent care of my cat, Speckles, during her last minute visit for an ongoing health issue.

I was referred to this vet hospital by my brother who said that the quality of care provided for his dog was amazing. My expectations were not let down at all when I took my puppy in for her first examination with this hospital. The attention, care, and medical advice provided was EXCEPTIONAL!!! My vet, Curt, as well as all of the staff in the office were incredibly knowledgable and provided my dog and I with the best client/patient care for a very low, affordable price. A week later, when I found something concerning with my puppy and called the office, the receptionist/responder was SO kind in providing me with great advice and suggestions on what to do. She also provided me with the email to reach the vets at the office even though there were none at the office at the time of evening when I called, and yet Curt responded with an informative and reassuring email within the next hour. I'm thoroughly impressed with this veterinary hospital and 100% recommend this place to anyone who appreciates staff with "caring hands" and relatively low prices :).

Had a fantastic first experience with my stranger averse dog, the staff was professional and asked careful questions to know how best to approach and care for him with the least stress to him. Thorough doctor, answered all my questions. i felt like we were in great hands. Highly recommend.

Such caring and knowledgeable staff! The vet explained all my pets symptoms to me so I could fully understand what’s going on. They’re affordable and want the best for your pet!

They wouldn't help me because I wasn't there patient. I was on hold longer than they talked to me.

Took both dogs for shots and we have a good experience. Will take them back for all the pet needs????????✌????

Curt is a knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian who has treated my cats for over 20 years. He and his staff have been responsive to every issue we have faced with our cats and provided excellent care for them. Curt patiently explains issues that arise, offering tips for dealing with sick cats, and patiently answers questions so that the best possible outcome is achieved. We highly recommend Caring Hands!

After years of vet hopping I have stuck with Caring Hands for about twenty years. The vets and support staff are great. One of my favorite elements of their service is communication. They give me the straight story without talking down to me or preaching. I thoroughly trust them with my pet's lives. I want to update my review to say the care and compassionate service I have received from the staff at Caring Hands stands out in stark contrast to what I have experienced from other local vet clinics recently. They are the best. Their prices on services have been better as well. You can trust the staff at this clinic.

I love both Dr. Buraglio and Dr. Thurman and all the techs and staff. They have taken excellent care of my dogs and cat over the years. They are knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate and I always recommend them to new people in town!

Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever been! We recently adopted a puppy and we were looking for a vet close to our house. This place is literally a 3 min walk for us, so that’s super convenient in itself. As soon as we got there, everybody was so nice! You can tell when people love what they do and this made our animals feel super comfortable. The doctor who saw our older dog was just the best. He answered all of our questions and made Jupiter feel so happy. When we took the puppy, another doctor was on call but she was as good as the other vet. She was so warm and made the puppy and my cat behave incredibly well. All the other people, from the person in the reception to other veterinarians and technicians, gave us the best service. On top of all this AMAZING treatment, the prices are very convenient and affordable :) We are very happy to call this place a “second home” for the animals ???? ???? from now on. Check them out! You won’t regret it ✨????

Dr. Thurman has been the attending veterinarian for my pets for many years, even before he opened Caring Hands when he was with another clinic. He, Dr. Buraglio and their staff have always been extremely helpful, kind, understanding and medically efficient in their care of my pets over the many years. Their staff are also very helpful not only at the clinic but also with extra help for my pets at home. I do appreciate Caring Hands so very much.

Our large dog is not a fan of us doing anything with her feet or ears, so she definitely doesn't like it at the vet. Even though our girl is difficult and takes multiple people to keep her still, the staff at Caring Hands is always so sweet and understanding when working with her. We appreciate the care they give to our fur baby!

Great staff that will work with your schedule and get your four legged friends in quick. They do not try to sell expensive and unnecessary products or services. Been bringing my pets here since 2010 and will continue to!!

The folks at Caring Hands are kind, thorough, and thoughtful. As a new puppy parent, they were able to explain in clear terms different options and responsibilities. I recommend them whole-heartedly.

Such an amazing staff everytime I've gone there. I live right across the street so the convenience was unbeatable, but the staff is as well! Always incredibly friendly to me and my dog and treat her with such love. Affordable prices as well make this place somewhere I would 100% recommend to others.

Amazing vet, Curt was always friendly and remembered my dog whenever we came back. They were always caring, gentle and made sure my dog Link felt comfortable and safe.

I haven't had a pup for a long time. And I had a concern about Sara who is a pup. The staff listen to my concern, and gave advice in a friendly, professional manner. Dr Rebecca gave suggestions which we follow and Sara is a happy, healthy puppy.

Professional and did a great job. They were able to book my dog in ASAP and rang me letting me know how the procedure had gone. It was also cheaper than I thought it would be. Highly recommended.
