My cat has become sick recently, and I needed to get him an appointment somewhere asap, but was really wanting to avoid the emergency vets. I’m so incredibly thankful for Urban Village because they were able to squeeze in an appointment for us, and were so helpful and upfront about everything they wanted to and what the pricing would be. I truly do not know if my cat would’ve been safe had we waited any longer, and seeing them today helped relieve so much stress and anxiety. I will absolutely be coming back here in the future!

Everyone here has been incredibly kind and patient. They give great compassionate care to all of our dogs. And their office takes the highest standards in how they run their office especially during covid. Drop off and pick up is super easy and safe.

You want to take your pet to Urban Village! Staff is incredibly friendly and went the extra mile answering all of my brand new dog mom questions. Upfront about pricing before treatment. Asked my permission before doing anything with my dachshund puppy. In and out within 45 minutes of our appointment time. She loved her first visit today with all of the attention and nutritional treats!

Hands down the best veterinarian in Louisville. I have referred several friends to them and everyone that went agrees. The entire staff are amazing, I have never had an interaction with them that wasn’t 11/10. These are the people your furry friend deserves to have seeing them.

I don’t typically write reviews, but Urban Village is simply the BEST. My pup & I moved to the area 3ish months ago, and I was really nervous about finding the right vet in a new city. I relentlessly read Google reviews and landed on Urban— & thank God I did!! First, the inside is so cute & clean. You don’t feel like you’re in a scary medical building at all. Second, the staff are EXCEPTIONAL. Everyone from Erin at the front desk to our vet (Dr. Rudwell) is kind and knowledgeable. Finally, their transparency with price is so refreshing. They tell you the cost of EVERYTHING up front & get your consent to do anything beforehand. Could not recommend them more!

Love this veterinarian office so much! I'm a first time puppy mom and my little Eren really loves coming to the vet (He knows it's the doctors which of course scares him lol) but he does love the staff there and I do too ! They've helped me so much since I'm struggling in my personal life so I'm very grateful to them :)

I will never go to another vet as long as live even remotely close. They took care of my last pupper during the good times and helped us both during the bad ones. I can't think of enough praise to give everyone who works here.

Dr Fruit and everyone there are very caring and highly skilled in all aspects of veterinary medicine. We started seeing Dr Fruit a couple of years ago for a very bad time for one of my little pups and she saved his life. I could never thank her enough. Everyone at Urban Village is outstanding and I would recommend them to anybody!

If your looking for a bee vet, Go here. I worked mainly with dr rugwell. She Answered all my concerns and was patient with my fur babies. All around the staff was fantastic. I will be returning.

I rescued my beagle in September 2020. I first brought him to Urban Village in November when he contracted kennel cough at his training school. It is just early March 2021 and he's already been back at least 4 times for various things. Honestly, I picked this vet because they're close to home and have great reviews. Absolutely every single employee, from the front desk to the doctors, are so incredibly kind and friendly at Urban Village! I truly believe that every single one of them care about my beloved dog as if he was their own. They are super organized compared to everywhere else I've been with this dog or previous dogs. When I call to schedule an appointment they do their best to triage over the phone through a lot of questions, and if they think it sounds even the tiniest bit serious, they squeeze him into their always packed schedule within 24 hours. His doctors always follow up PERSONALLY via email within days following the appointment, to make sure he's doing okay and see if I have any additional questions or needs. Staff spends time getting to know my dog, his history, his needs, and his personality, and make a ton of great suggestions and recommendations - everything from foods and treats to groomers. A few weeks ago I needed to get him into a groomer. I took him to another vet in the same area that has a grooming facility. They were so disorganized. Drop-off/pick-up was a jacked process. The staff and doctors were kind of rude. Didn't care that he was exhibiting symptoms of kennel cough. Called the wrong customer to let them know he was done, then called me hours later to ask why I hadn't picked him up. They tacked on all kinds of additional vaccines and junk that took my beagle's $35 grooming visit to almost $150 total. Urban Village has not only never tacked anything additional on like this, they usually estimate a cost in advance that is significantly higher than the eventual bill, because they don't look for extra ways to make money at the expense of your concern for your pet. Top-down this is the best vet clinic I've ever seen, with the best staff and doctors imaginable. To beat it all, they're usually 3/4 or even half the price of other clinics, even ones just down the street. I'm lucky this just happened to be the first vet I tried with my new buddy, and I'll never take a pet anywhere else. They have my full recommendation!

There’s really no way to say enough good about this Establishment. They are hands down the most caring & compassionate Drs I’ve ever dealt with. The efficiency with which they operate is second to none I’ve seen. My fur babies are my kids, and I’m way overprotective, my standard is high! They exceeded all expectations. I really feel I’ve found the Vet I’ve been looking for. We would never go anywhere else!

I've just discovered Urban Village Veterinary Care, and I could not be happier! Everyone so far has been friendly, professional, and caring! I have a new kitten, and they've taken such good care of our family's new addition, I wanted to encourage you to try them out if you're "vet shopping".

Thought my cat was having urinary issues but she didn’t have a vet in the area. Urban Village got me in quicker than anyone else I called. Dr. Fruit did a thorough exam and history and even emailed me a summary of the visit since the office is closed to the public. Everyone has been so helpful and friendly during my cat’s ongoing issues. I’m happy to have found a local vet’s office that I love, highly recommend.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this clinic! 3 weeks ago we had just gotten our rescue dog and within a couple days she developed a UTI. We did not have a local vet and after spending hours calling vet offices (a day before the holiday weekend) only to be told there were anywhere from a 2-3 week wait (because of the backlog from COVID), I called Urban Village. They squeezed her in and confirmed it was a really bad UTI. Everyone I spoke with was so sweet and helpful. The fact the the doctor calls and speaks to you personally really sold me as well as they tell you upfront what to expect cost wise! We had a follow up visit yesterday and it was just as AMAZING as the first visit! The doctor called and discussed everything that was gong on and made sure we were happy with the service. Daisy and her parents have found her furever veterinary clinic! Service is EXCEPTIONAL and Prices are VERY REASONABLE!

I'm so happy that I found Urban Village Veterinary Clinic! The staff is so kind and knowledgeable! The prices are standard and they give you a quote before taking your pet in. They also give free pedicures to dogs when coming in for a check-up! I definitely will be coming back to this wonderful clinic! ????

Everyone at Urban Village Vet is so kind and caring! My pup is usually pretty nervous at vets/groomers but he always seems comfortable at Urban Village Vet. And they’ve been able to get me in quickly when I had concerns about him.
