Very friendly and professional staff. Easier to entrust my dog’s care to them

I’ve been taking my animals to Seneca animal hospital for over 10 years. They are always friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I always get appointments when I want them and they can accommodate appointments around my work schedule. The vets always spend time talking to me about my animals and I leave feeling like I know the best way to care for my pets. The office staff is helpful and friendly! I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else!

I want to write something good, but I cannot. My awesome dog did not make it through the door at his scheduled appt time. Potential new customer felt like absolute garbage. I DO know this faceticous 5star rating will help Seneca Animal Hospital's ratings, tho. Keep up the good work!!!

I've just started bringing my pets to Seneca Animal Hospital for check ups, and so far so Great!!!

I absolutely love Seneca Animal Hospital! I've been taking my cat there since I got him and it has been great. The team is great, clearly passionate about pets, and always works with me and my schedule to get Salem in. They are also super responsive! Yesterday I emailed them around 4:30 asking a question about Salem and if I needed to bring him in. Within 1.5 hours they had responded with guidance and great advice!

I brought two small dogs for their annual checkup and shots. One had an ear infection. They presented me with an invoice for $276, which I paid. Two days later, I saw that $713 had been debited from my account. I called Seneca to check on it and was told that the invoice for $276 was for one dog, and the $713 charge was correct. I complained politely that $713 was outrageous and then went on my merry way. Five minutes later the manager called back and gave me a whole list of reasons why the mixup was my fault. First, she stated that I was never given an invoice for $276. Hello, I'm looking at it. Then she said it was my fault that I didn't read it thoroughly and notice that it was for one dog. I didn't have my reading glasses with me in the parking lot and it was tiny type. Then she said my dogs got good care. Yes, they did, but it was not $713 worth of care. Then she said they were busy and it wasn't their fault they handed me an invoice I was not intended to have. Poor management, I said. If you can't handle your patient load, reduce it. All in all, I was fine until she called back and accused me of lying. Oh, and she said it wasn't an invoice, it was a receipt. It says invoice at the top. Duh, get a new manager who knows the first thing about customer service.

Took our 9 year old dog in for a teeth cleaning. We were quoted a price of around $350. When we picked her up they had extracted 3 teeth without approval and then charged over $700. My husband called to discuss, they dropped $100 off bill. Looking for a new vet.

The team at Seneca Animal Hospital is fantastic, we've taken our dog here for years and years. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

We are always very pleased with the level of care we receive from Seneca Animal Hospital. Our most recent visit for a dental cleaning was no exception. Plenty of communication before the appointment to offer instruction/information; and after to make sure our dog was doing well. It is obvious that they are passionate about what they do.

I have been taking my pets to Seneca for about 20 years. They always provide kind, professional and attentive veterinary services. When I need an appointment urgently they always do their best to get my fur babies in there quickly. For routine appointments/exams/vaccinations etc they are thorough and not over priced. I would recommend them to anyone who values the care that their furry family members receive. They cared for my previous two shih tzu’s before they passed away from very old age and they now care for my two year old pair of shih tzu’s. Through out the lifespan of my pets lives Seneca has offered reliable, affordable, conscientious care-and I am grateful to have them in my neighborhood!

I love bringing my dog here. She is very anxious and nervous about most things but comes in and leaves Seneca with a wagging tail. She receives the absolute best care here and I feel confident in saying that. The vet I spoke with (Dr. Hayes maybe) kept saying things like “this is what I do with my animals” and that is very comforting to hear. My dog had to be sedated and after they made a bed for her with a pillow so she would be comfortable. That’s the type of care we receive that has already made me a lifelong customer after just a couple visits. All my future animals will be seen here and I recommend Seneca Animal Hospital to anyone and everyone.

I take both my dogs to Seneca Animal Hospital, and we always have a great experience. The front desk staff, techs, and doctors are all so friendly, helpful, and professional. You can tell they really care about their patients. This practice has also been both responsible and efficient during the pandemic. Couldn’t recommend them more.

We were brand new to the practice- absolutely loved Dr. Shumaker! She was so upbeat and friendly when discussing a plan of care for my older dog. Also was pleasantly surprise to receive a follow up call from her the next day to see how my dog was doing. Very pleased with our experience at Seneca Animal Hospital.

My experience was exceptional. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with not only the knowledge and professional shown by Dr. Hayes, the vet tech (sorry I can’t remember her name) but by their true expression of empathy. I was at the end of my rope and I can’t express how much it meant to me that they took the time to listen to all my concerns. I didn’t feel rushed or any sense that Ruby was just another “rescue dog. “. They both showed patience and willings to help me get things right . I would also like to add both times I have called to get an appointment the girl addressing the phone showed all the things I have mentioned above . She even said she wanted to meet Ruby the day I brought her in but was busy on the other side and wasn’t able to break away . You can just tell they truly have their heart in the right place by the way they listen , communicate and take the time to address any concerns you may have . They truly care and that is obvious. I’m so happy I decided to make the switch It is refreshing to have such an awesome experience!! Thank you , thank you!!

Seneca Animal Hospital is my go-to place! Staff is kind and understanding. Recently, I took my cat for her annual check-up. Covid precautions were taken very seriously. Tigerlily wasn't happy to see the doc ;), but I know she was in good hands.

You all go out of your way to make sure my kitty companions are well taken care of.

My dog Chloe recently passed away. I had never had a pet before Chloe and she was with me for 12 years. About 5 minutes after Chloe died I called Seneca Animal Hospital because I had no idea what to do. The representative was very patient with me, I was crying, and she listened and gave me several options of how I could handle Chloe's death. I chose to have my "baby" cremated and when I picked her up from Seneca I was presented with a nice bag containing Chloe's ashes and also a beautiful card signed from everyone that works at Seneca Animal Hospital. Their words were/are so comforting! I cried when I read it, one reason because the things that were written from the staff made me feel like they knew how much Chloe was loved and always will be. I couldn't have asked for a better place for Chloe and I to be associated with!!

The folks at Seneca Animal Hospital are great. They have been kind, courteous and exceptionally helpful over the years, as our beloved 17 year-old cat and 12 year-old dog have aged. We appreciate their compassion and professionalism.
