Everyone! Staff was so sweet, and so good to my pit bull who has a bit of anxiety when out and about. You guys showed me how people should treat pits. I had gotten turned away the same day for this reason. I’m so glad to have found you guys. Means more than you know.

Dr. Seigwald and staff are so caring and compassionate! They are so knowledgeable and really take the time to thoroughly explain everything I need to know for my babies! They treat both animals and people with kindness and respect! I'm a rescue dog mom and I worry about EVERYTHING with my babies and they are so understanding, patient, and thorough! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Seigwald and Hurstbourne Animal Hospital!!

Editing to add that the vet DID in fact call me a few days later and worked it out. She as very thoughtful and helpful, and refunded the cost of the vaccine. Still haven't gone back, but the gesture to reach out was definitely appreciated. I brought my goldendoodle here several times to be groomed, have never had an issue. The grooming has always been great and high quality. However, on my most recent visit when I picked my dog up I had noticed the bill was higher. They said they gave him a vaccine. It's worth noting this is NOT his primary vet, they just had his vaccine records from his last actual vet visit. He has actually never been seen here for medical care, we just drop him off for grooming every 6 weeks. I was not called, nor was my vet, before giving my dog an additional shot. They claimed he was due, when I called his actual vet, they said he wasn't due for this for another 6 months. He also had a regular vet appointment/checkup scheduled for the following week. Fast forward to later that evening, he starts getting sick and I monitor symptoms overnight. I call our actual primary vet and they warned me that it was inappropriate for them to give it without consulting first. I'm sure they had my dog's best interests at heart, but this was a communication failure that could have been deadly. We won't be coming back, and I hate that I have to find another grooming place because the groomers have always been over the top great to my dog since his very first grooming appointment.

All of the staff at Hurstbourne Animal Hospital are friendly, but we keep coming back after 17 years (even though we moved across town!) because of Dr. Kaur. She cares so much for all of the animals she sees.

Dr Belle was great at explaining things and taking time with us and our fur baby. Had a wonderful experience. Would not go anywhere else.

I have used this place for the vet visits and the some of the vet techs and the vets are kind and caring. However, there is one vet tech that seems to hate her job and/or animals. She has been rude every time I have interacted with her. I have also used them for boardig because it is what my mother has used for her dog. It works great for Athena (shes quite a lovebug and loves people). However, I have a very hyperactive husky that has seperation anxiety and is given medication when needed to help calm her. The first time boarding my dog (Nova), my mom and I requested ahead of time that her dog and my dog be boarded together as it would be the best way to help Nova adjust. We found out afterward we picked them up that they were not able to board them together because they overbooked. I also found out that Nova was not given her medication which would have helped her tremedously. During her stay we also requested that she be given her comfort toy but they did not do this either. This last time boarding her, both my mom and I gave detailed instructions (mine including how to best interact with Nova such as getting on her level, giving her toys and lots of treats, and making sure she gets her meds, including a table that had to be signed showing proof that her medication was given each day). It was also paid before-hand that both dogs were to stay together, again. Although toys were given, Im not sure whether they threw away Novas medication because I never recieved the sheet back. The two were also seperated once again because Nova did not leave the kennel when there because she was terrified. Nova does not like interacting with people she does not know, and I including those instructions to try and guide the vet techs to help make her experience better. However, it seems little to none of what I mentioned was followed. I would also like to note that both dogs smelled awful and were covered in urine and feces, especially Nova. Im incredibly disappointed in how they treat dogs that need time, or need different accomodations. I feel as though they have made no effort in tryinf to make Novas experience more enjoyable. Im honestly even thinking about switching to Sheldons down the road from me because although they are a bit more expensive, they accomodate to different personalities of dogs.

I just love taking my dogs here. The staff is very professional at the front desk, and will answer your questions. If they don't know the answer they will go to someone and find out. The assistants for the Vets are always kind and sweet.. And Dr.Bell is just amazing! She is the only vet that I want my dogs seeing. I am sure the other vets are amazing as well, but I just like to stick with the same one, since one of my dog's have some issues.

Hurstbourne Animal Hospital is always able to squeeze me in when my dog has urgent issues. The staff is super friendly and they do a great job.

I love Hurstbourne Animal Hospital. We were introduced to Hurstbourne Animal Hospital when our male dog needed stitches from being in a scuffle with our female dog. Everywhere else (with the exception of the outrageously expensive emergency vet) was either 1. Very expensive and/or 2. Not able to see him. Hurstbourne was able to make an appt for our dog the very next day. We have gone to them ever since. They were there for us when our beloved 8-year-old dog Ramona passed away and they were incredibly supportive. The staff are amazing. They are always so polite and patient. We always look forward to seeing Courtney. She is always so sweet and welcoming. They call/text to check up on how your animals are doing after each/every appt. I highly recommend!

Everyone is very helpful and great with my fur babies! Have been going here over a year and the staff is great. The groomers are the best, very patient and loving. The vets are nice and always efficient.

I have used Hursrbourne Animal Hospital for all of my dogs and cats for the last 16years. Doctor Kaur is the best! I won't take my babies anywhere else. Very professional, knowledgeable, and kind!

Caring and efficient no extra nonsense or testing

I really like this place but my dog came back with a weird spot on the back of his neck? At first I thought maybe it got wet and dried crusty, but after a bath it is still there. It doesn’t seem to bother him, but I am worded something happened while he was boarded and it was not communicated to me.

Everyone is very nice and friendly. They really cared about my pet. I’m happy I’ve decided to make Hurstbourne animal hospital Leo’s vet. Highly recommend. Thank you for everything!

Always super friendly & our dog is happy to get there & seems happy when we pick her up!

When I dropped my dog off Thursday morning she was fine. When I picked her up at 6 (after 10 hours!!) she couldn’t walk. I took her to my vet the next morning and found out she had a torn ACL!!! I’ve had a family emergency that has taken my time the past two days, so I haven’t had a chance to call and complain.

Hurstbourne Animal Hospital & Staff were my hero recently. I had a dog that needed to be seen, I called her eye specialist and he was on vacation. I called her regular vet and they had one doctor on vacation and were so overwhelmed they were only able to see really critical patients. Hurstbourne Animal Hospital was also very busy, but was able to accommodate my girl. I so appreciate them being there for us when our usual providers weren't an option! Very caring staff. Even called the next day to make sure things were going well. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kaur is always friendly and genuinely cares. My pups are treated well. Even though I moved, I still make the trip to Hurstbourne Animal Hosp for pet care.

Very aware of my senior dog's needs when left for boarding.
