Happy Hounds is great! Susan is amazing at grooming. She is the only groomer my dog will allow to touch his paws. He absolutely adores her! The daycare is fantastic too and has been a lifesaver. My dog enjoys the socializing and seems to have a really good time. It also makes me feel better that he is socializing and not home alone on days I go into the office.

I've been taking my dog to Happy Hounds for the better part of a year, and she and I are both very pleased. I've tried several other local daycares, but Happy Hounds wins for us. I have a terrier, and if you know anything about dogs you know that terriers can be feisty! I love that Happy Hounds has multiple rooms for dogs of all sizes, and groups dogs based on temperament. I don't have to worry about my dog being stuck in a room with dogs that don't get along with her, just because they're the same size. Not all small dogs like each other!! Happy Hounds has kind and helpful staff and great supervision. My dog always comes home happy, healthy, and exhausted!

Our three babies have been going to Happy Hounds for grooming by Susan and we couldn’t be happier. Susan is so sweet with the dogs and treats them like they are her own. She always gets them done in a timely manner and they look beautiful! We love her and couldn’t imagine going to anyone else!!

We have taken our dogs to Susan for grooming for ten years and followed her when she started working at Happy Hounds. Our Golden, Riley, loves getting groomed by Susan and can't wait to get into the place when we drop him off. Susan is very kind and does an excellent job. We just love her.

Our two Scottish Terriers love to be boarded and attend daycare here. We completely trust them, and know our dogs are cared for. They communicate frequently with us, and the rates and technology are all fair and easy to navigate. There are no hidden fees or costly add-ons, just fair pricing and love for animals. Each animal gets the love they need.

This place is the BEST place I have EVER been to for dogs. If you leave a review that states otherwise, you have no taste, no intelligence, and no class.

You are not being honest. You did not show me the video footage you showed me three five second clips. When I tried to see the full clip you pulled back and said you couldn't show us anymore. If you were honest and transparent and not hiding anything you would have given me what you promised which would be the video footage of Juliette's time in your facility. Give me what you promised, acknowledge your negligence and this could be put to rest really quick. Juliette did not walk to me she was carried. I would love to see the video clip of this, however I'm sure you are not willing to show proof of your words. NO STARS TO GIVE....DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY! NO ACCOUNTABILITY, CONCERN OR COMPASSION! I need accountability for the death of Juliette my Maltipoo. Please help me. 10:15am Friday October 8, 2021 I dropped Juliette off at Happy Hounds Doggie Daycare and Grooming for my groomer Chelsea to bathe her and cut her hair. Chelsea was not there yet, however, I felt Juliette would be taken care of until she arrived. Juliette was fine, a little nervous but walking around with the other dogs in the waiting area. Susan checked Juliette in, I left for work. When I picked Juliette up around 515pm this same day, she was panting heavily, could not stand on her back legs and there was a green solution stuck in her fur under both eyes and across the bridge of her nose. At the time I did not ask the girl who brought Juliette to me about this I had decided to ask Chelsea the groomer. Juliette passed away before I arrived home. I immediately called Chelsea and Susan to ask what happened while Juliette was in their care. Chelsea said she would have the video from the facility cameras reviewed and get back with me. She later called, saying nothing happened. Saturday morning October 9, 2021 I went to Happy Hounds to speak with the owners. While waiting the female associate called Missy, who stated she was a co-owner. I spoke with Missy who said she would get in touch with Lana Webb, the owner and download the video footage from the time Juliette was in their care and I could pick it up Sunday October 10th at 6pm. My daughter and a friend and I showed up at Happy Hounds Sunday October 10th at 6pm. Lana was less than remorseful. She showed us the grooming room, denied using anything green in her facility, which was untrue due to seeing a green chemical on a shelf inside the groom room. Lana continued to excuse her groomer and facility of any liability. Upon asking to see the video footage of Juliette’s stay with Happy Hounds, Lana showed us three 5 seconds clips. The first clip showed Chelsea clipping Juliette’s hair on the grooming table without her attached to the grooming harness. Chelsea says Juliette was so good and calm she didn’t need to put the harness on. The next 5 second clip shows Juliette in the harness. The next 5 second clip shows Juliette laying in an odd position in a kennel. I asked to see more of the video and Lana said that was all she had. I asked to see the continuous footage of Juliette being groomed and Lana said “I can’t do that”. I asked to get the copy of the footage and Lana said “I can’t do that”. I told Lana, “Missy said you would download it for me”, Missy said “I did not”. I have a message in writing from Missy stating I would be able to pick up the video footage Sunday October 10th at 6pm.

Staff is nice. My dog is happy.

We love happy hounds! Our golden doodle, Albus, goes to happy hounds for grooming and Susan is amazing!! She treats Albus like one of her own and he always looks his best after leaving her. He also gets to hang out with the other dogs and comes home worn out, which I love as a dog parent. Susan has taken care of Albus the last two years and we refuse to see anyone else but her. Thanks Happy Hounds and Susan for the spectacular service.

Happy Hounds is a beautiful clean facility! My groomer, Sue, treats my three Springer Spaniels like they are her are her own babies and I highly recommend her! If you want a happy puppy, go to Happy Hounds!????

Susan took great care of our 3 dogs. All three looked amazing and they were able to be her only appointments so they were in and out fairly soon rather than waiting in a kennel in line. Very pleased with Susan's care for our dogs and how good they look! Our new spot.

It is a bit of a drive for me to Happy Hounds, but it is worth every minute. My girl, Josie, has a great time there being groomed and playing with the other dogs. Susan has been her groomer for years. She takes special care to make over each dog. Happy Hounds has a really nice set up for grooming. Josie loves the attention she receives and I love the job they do, and most importantly how happy my girl is there!

I’ve been taking our dogs to Ms. Susan for about 8 years. She’s not just a great dog groomer but one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. Every time we take the dogs to Happy Hounds we have been had nothing but great service. The dogs enjoying spend the day there even after their grooming appointment. Would highly recommend!

I traveled with my two dogs into town to speak at a Conference in Louisville, KY. I found out last minute I would need a dog sitter while attending one of the events and easily found Happy Hounds online. Their online scheduling system made it easy to schedule and Missy got back to me the next day to confirm my arrangements. The care providers sent me pictures and kept me up to date on the comfort of my two loves. I will use Happy Hounds anytime I’m in town. Thank You!!!

Tried the daycare session. Was told they couldn’t care for a shy dog. Can’t tell if it was lack of experience/effort, or different expectations by each party. Obviously will have to try a different professional service that is more equipped.

Great place good atmosphere pleasure to bring my dog there

I’ve been taking my puppy since she was 4 mo old. Now she is 7 mo and very socialized in regards to other dogs. She comes home very tired which I am so grateful as I also come home very tired. Staff are great, friendly and knowledgeable. It’s super clean, they get right after any mishaps the dogs have. I’m super happy with them.

I have taken my dogs to many kennels over many years in Louisville. Happy hounds seems to be the place they like the most. Kind of hard to tell since they can't talk though! I like the "free range" concept and I can't imagine my dog doesn't as well.

Only had grooming done for two dogs and it was a fabulous experience. Great hair cut, clean place.

Happy Hounds is the PERFECT place to take your four-legged friends. They have very convenient hours. One of the only spots in town with long hours even on the weekend. Super friendly staff, who will even send you pictures of your pup occasionally, and always seems to be at that moment you happened to be missing them! You can tell they truly care about the animals, and you can tell the animals really love them back! Biscuit is always so excited when we pull in the parking lot, and always ready for a good nap when we pull out of it! Happy Hounds has made our life so much easier! Thank you all!
