I Thank God for such an amazing group of caring and compassionate, staff and Doctor. If it had not been for Derby City's crossroads My cat Lucky would not be alive. He was literally knocking at deaths door. Friday when I got home from work, he was not acting his usual playful self. By Saturday morning, He was worse. I called my regular vet Derby city crossroads who are not open on Saturdays but I wanted to hear who they referred to in case of an emergency. I got that information and immediately to Lucky there. Once there I was told he had a urinary blockage, I was told to fix the situation he would need to be hospitalized for surgery at a cost of $4000.00. I was devastated I did not have that kind of money. So they cathed him and sent me home with 4 different medications to try to stabilize him until I could get to his regurlar Doctor. It was the worst weekend I have ever had, he appeared to be dead so many times. Monday came I called His vet, immediately they saw him, in my heart and mind I just knew he was not going to make it. But the miracle workers they are, Dr. Catherine White, and her amazing staff kept him overnight and restored him back to my sweet precious Lucky. At a cost that I could afford. They are Awesome they care, I had many folks praying for Lucky and, God answered my prayers and Blessed our family with one of the best offices in town. Derby City's Crossroads Animal Hospital. If you truly love your pet and need a vet these are the folks to trust.

On a whim I got a new puppy in July. I had already decided not to use our previous vet of 10 yrs. From the first call they were super friendly and helpful, so we made our first puppy appointment. 5 months and many visits later I can’t sing enough praise for the entire staff. They are always responsive and super helpful. I’m also always pleasantly surprised by the pricing.

My dog Jax has gone here for about 6 years. Great people, friendly, and I don’t feel like they overcharge for their fees.

Really cared for our babies... not 5 star because when I needed a vet, due to another dog attacking mine... they told me there wasnt a vet in office for 2 or 3 days.... ????????I need a full time office.

They always take great care of my furbaby. Blue is a pretty anxious cat but they are always patient with her.

New vet is not very friendly or interactive. Office staff friendly and helpful. Prices have gone up.

First visit they were very friendly and did a good job I'd recommend them to anybody that needs a vet

Do not trust your animals with Dr. Swigert. We took our cat Noodle to her to get declawed ( which we will never do again). 8 years later another surgery. An X-RAY revealed that every each of her paws still has bone remnants left from the original declaw operation. This is her second surgery after an amputation. Worst veterinarian. If you need a veterinarian, go to Shively. They really care about animals there and give the best care. Don't go to Derby City!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been taking my furbabies there even before they moved to that location, they used to be on Crums Lane in shivley

It was very nice clean and very respectful people that work there they are very nice and help me and answered all my questions

Great prices, good doctors, long wait times. In an emergency I would likely go elsewhere. Open 7-7, but if you want to be seen, go in EARLY.

Meticulous following of covid safety measures. The staff are incredible and love my pets as their own. Dr. Jean knows what she is doing and I have complete confidence in her treatments. I have been going here for years. My 3 dogs all ending their life is this place brought me immense comfort. My new rescue races to go in. Thank you Derby Animal Hospital you are the best!

Very caring clinic always makes humans and animals feel welcome.

They told me my dog was going to be okay with some medication and rest. He had a terrible cough for a few days and they didn't even bother to take an x-ray to see his lungs. Only ours later he died on my bedroom floor, his lungs filled up with fluids, when just hours ago they had said he was okay. Terrible.

Everyone there is always so nice and friendly. The vet is the best at taking care of her cats. She has been our vet for many, many years.

A no frills office with the most honest and down to earth vet team I’ve ever met. I feel that many vets take advantage of our emotional connections to our love bugs; well not this team! High fives to the entire staff for making us comfortable and making it easy. High fives friends!

Had they bothered to do the x-ray I asked about my 12 year old wouldn't have watched her dog of 9 years drop dead in front of her

Just moved to this part of town. Very glad they easily scheduled appointments for all of my animals. They are fast and seem to be reasonably priced.
