Davis Animal Clinic Louisville, Indiana

The only place I take my pups to for their health. I'm originally from NY and Davis Vet is the best veterinary clinic I've ever been to. Everyone on staff is intelligent, affable, and treat my boys (Homer the maltese and Byron the shih tzu) like family. Also, their prices are very affordable and their care during procedures is top-notch. When Homer had to have his teeth removed due to old age, Dr. Davis saw him immediately and took care of my boy. Normally, I would have been nervous but I completely trust the Davis vet staff and felt comfortable knowing Homer was in good hands. Dr. Davis also neutered Byron and did a fantastic job. I can't recommend them enough. I always feel at ease going there for any doggy concern I have. And as I mentioned before, the whole staff is brilliant and sweet. My boys enjoy seeing everyone everyone which I'm sure alleviates their anxiety.

We appreciate this clinic! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and Dr. They are not pushy and treat our dog (who has a lot of anxiety at vets) very well.

Dr Davis and his staff are wonderful, and caring. He is always available, and reaches out to us regarding our pets/family. During the care of our elderly chihuahu, he and his staff were kind, and thoughtful. He treats our cats like one of his own. Highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Davis and the team are amazing. They take very good care of my animals, and their prices are reasonable. I especially appreciate that they explain why things are needed and provide great value. It is easy to make appointments, Jessie the receptionist is very friendly and seems to keep everything well organized. Definitely a local business worth supporting.

I sit out side well my dog went in with staff didn't take long.called into clinic when i had question and they called me.love not waiting long i be busy.

They do make you wait out in your car due to covid. Which is not a problem with me. Took care of both my fur baby's and didn't break my bank account. The doctor explain the problems really well and let us know they why, which helps us understand where we can improve on being good fur baby's parents. The eldest has big problems with his cleaning out his ears ended up having small amount yeast in his ears.

You have to stay in your car and drop your pet off. Staff is superb and make it not difficult at all to trust them.

I picked this vet because I will be moving to the area soon. They handled my cat very well and even with the Covid restrictions forcing us to wait in the car, they were fast and pleasant. Great place!

We have been going to Davis for about 4 years now thee staff is great and will help in any way possible to make it a good trip they also Try to keep all animals away from other animals so that they do not get stressed out keep up the great job staff

Best vet in Louisville. Bring my 3 dogs they for all their needs. Dr Davis is very thorough with a gentel disposition. Hey my dogs love him, enough said. Who is going to argue with a dog.

We have been taking our dogs there for several years. Our 12 yr old Cooper was seen by Dr. Davis and his staff many times. All of our pets have seen Dr. Davis and staff many times over the years. This week Cooper collapsed and was suffering and unable to walk at all. He has had several health complications over the years and has been declining over the last year steadily. He was in obvious pain and we new it was time. I called the office to bring him in. They told me it would be over 9 hours until we could see the doctor. Our dog was suffering greatly and only needed a few minutes of time to end his suffering, but they did not seem to care. I find it very unprofessional and heartless that a long time client would have their beloved dog treated this way. Fortunately we were referred to a vet not far away who welcomed us immediately so our Cooper would not have to suffer any longer. We will not be back to Dr. Davis. All we asked for was a few moments and a little compassion. It has been our experience that if you make an appointment, they will see you, but I would warn anyone that if your pet has an emergency, I would not rely on them to be there for you. They were most certainly not there for us. On what is such a devastating thing to go through for any pet parent, I would have loved to have had our regular vet that we know and trust be there for us. He was not.

Well trained staff, it's quite expensive. But they worked with us to lessen the financial impact. Our cat is doing great now !

Dr. Davis is awesome. He takes the time to evaluate your pet the right way besides just saying they need surgery. The staff are very helpful and friendly

I took both of my dogs to Davis animal clinic for a few years but immediately changed vets after Dr. Evans told me that nothing wrong was with my dog except for a behavioral issue (excessive licking). After I repeated that my dog’s rash was new, Dr. Evans told me I was wrong and that there was nothing he could do. Dr. Evans called me back a few minutes after another reexamination to then tell me that my dog did in fact have a staph infection and that there was nothing he could do to treat a potentially underlying issue, and I should expect this to be a reoccurring issue. This is the second issue I’ve had with Davis Animal Clinic, and both incidents were due to negligence. Given his attitude toward animals and people (he asked me if I just woke up when he called me in the middle of the day), he should not be a vet. Not only did he tell me a hugely visible infection was nonexistent, he plainly said that my dog wasn’t treatable. We were then charged $70.

Very nice and friendly staff, they treat you like family. The cost are reasonable. I have recommended this clinic to my friends and family.
