Dr Kiser is the very best! My dog had an emergency eye issue and Dr Kiser worked him in. The office staff is so kind and efficient. You can tell how much each person there truly loves animals.

I have taken my two cats to the CAC, and had no issues. I just got a puppy and scheduled a new-pet examination/evaluation and vaccination. I called, was given an appointment for December 4th, given that appointment 10 days prior. I called on the morning of December 4th, and no appointment was listed. I am certain when I called 10 days prior they assigned an appointment. Terrible. Dr. Mark. I edit this now as I myself had an accidental no-show forgetting my appointment. I asked them to go ahead and charge me for the appointment, but they let it go and made a new appointment for my doggie! So I now change to 5 stars.

Good place to care for your fur babies. Doc asks, I have a shot or a daily pill. For a cat, we definitely took the shot! Now he is all better, friskier than ever!

When I moved here from St Louis, I was worried I wouldn't find the same kind of veterinary care I had been used to. Thank God for Cherokee. Doctors Kaiser and Grace are wonderful! They helped my sweet chronically ill cat through the last part of her life, and recently treated my other cat for a back injury. They are not only professional, but really kind. Highly recommended.

Extremely overpriced! Also, if you want your cat described as “disruptive and loud” after a neutering and being away from his owners for eight hours (well... duh!) go here I guess. The lady who took my cat inside, instead of being glad I brought a bed and some food and toys for him, commented that “You’re acting like he’s staying here overnight!”. Really rude. Very unprofessional handling of my cat, he’s extremely sweet with everyone and loved being held by our last vet, but here when I came to pick him up he fought the nurse tooth and nail. It makes me believe that he wasn’t treated correctly while we weren’t watching. We were given almost NO information and I had to pry for any answers. The staff seems almost irritated that they have to do their jobs. None of them strike me as pet owners or people who really love animals. All of the other bad reviews are extremely believable after my experience. We’re switching to another vet from now on.

Today will be our last visit. Poor and aggressive handling of animals, unprofessional, and dismissive when concerns were addressed. Untrained youngsters and vet [dr. grace] doesn't know how to care for pets appropriately or properly.

Friendly staff, convenient location. Always willing to work me in when needed! Wouldn’t take my fur baby anywhere else! I love this place!!!!

Took a dog here whose owner recently died… I signed paperwork for financial responsibility and paid at time of visit, but Dr Grace was still quite uncommunicative concerning the presenting issues, seemed in too big a hurry to answer simple, direct questions with more than cursory responses, kept turning and leave and I kept having to call him back, and he left me still wondering what to do about the dog’s issues. I got really nothing for my trouble. Based entirely on poor communication and seeming lack of concern for a “patient” of five years standing, I cannot recommend this practice.

Took my cat for his first visit at Cherokee Animal Clinic and could not be happier. It took a little bit of time to get him in, but was well worth the wait.

Dr. Grace did oral surgery on our Belgian. The price was very reasonable and most importantly, there were absolutely no ill effects at all. They also did a consult and the surgery, before our regular vet would schedule a consult. Cherokee is now our regular vet.

They were willing to put flea medicine on my baby without charge because I can't hold Scooter & apply flea meds by myself.

I would like to let everyone know the Cherokee Animal Clinic the doctor it's one of the most compassionate doctors that I've ever seen with the animals. He has myself as well as my families highest regards as to their staff, every one of their staff from the front office to his assistance we're very compassionate as well. The empathy they showed when we had to have our dog pearl a pug that we have for 15 years laid to rest was tremendous. We use Cherokee Animal Clinic for our animals shots and wellness checks as well as when they become ill. We cannot speak highly enough of the doctor Who helped Pearl move on to her final resting place as well as a comforting words from the doctor and all of his staff. If you're looking for an animal clinic to take your animals to where they really care this is the place to go.

Unfortunately, I have had 2 pets pass away under the care of Dr. Grace within 6 months. Most recently my dog passed away and I felt compelled to write a review. I brought my dog to Dr. Grace when she started experienced lethargy and a distended abdomen. We made two trips with the same symptoms, and during the last trip, and after paying close to $600 for X-rays and blood work, Dr. Grace said he didn't see any glaring issues other than a prominent spleen. He told me to keep my eye on her and get her in for an abdominal ultrasound as soon as possible. Then once I called Audubon to schedule the necessary ultrasound, I was given a week away appointment. I found another clinic that could get me in a few days earlier, but sadly my dog did not make it that long. Her symptoms persisted and she became worse a day after seeing Dr. Grace. After bringing her to the emergency clinic two days after her appointment with Dr. Grace, she was diagnosed with a ruptured spleen, she was bleeding heavily internally, and we were told surgery was necessary or she would bleed to death. With no other options, we opted for the surgery. She died on the table when they started surgery. I feel that my dog's death was in large due to the negligence, hastiness, and unprofessional reaction of Dr. Grace to my dog's symptoms. I would never recommend Cherokee Animal Clinic, or any other clinic that Dr. Grace is associated with. While he may be a good person, he is an irresponsible and negligent veterinarian.
