This was the only place that would neuter my 15 week old kitten without a consultation. This is not a snip clinic but they are efficient, fast and friendly. I would reccomend to anyone

Dr. Crockett cared about my bearded dragon's condition, gave him attention, and did not sell me things I did not need. My beardie was not looking good at all and they were able to get him back to good health! These pictures are a few months after receiving care. Thank you!

Please do NOT take your animals here. I had gotten my kitten back Friday morning, after them having her for 3 nights for dehydration with minimal update, and they said she was fine. I don't know what treatment they were providing her, besides antibiotics. I got one last night with her and then Saturday morning I took her to another vet where she then passed because I noticed she was sleeping too much and not eating at all now. They never took her weight to make sure she was growing properly, never did blood tests, they didn't notice she was dying. I would call for updates which the techs didn't even know what was happening, or even who my cat was, they said she was the "cat that wasn't eating" which was news to me because she was eating just fine before I brought her. When I picked her up, I felt she even looked weaker and smaller than when I had dropped her off. My kitten had belly issues also from a food they had given her, I told Dr. Crockett about it and they told me it was completely normal, where as the other vet I showed him the pictures of her and he said it was not. The other vet immediately started her on an IV and drew blood tests, but ultimately she passed within hours. The other vet mentioned it could have been fading kitten syndrome, where nothing could have been done to stop it, but I feel as if Dr. Crockett did nothing to even help prevent or diagnose my cat properly.

Was told not to remove fatty tumor but keep an eye on them. Turns out there were multiple just waiting to get bigger. Took her back was reassured that they were not bad and didnt need to be removed. Got to a point it was just time to ignore him. Took her to a new vet and they reloved them the same month. And this is not the first time I've a bad experience with this vet. Took my cat of over 15 years to him to get a diagnosis, told me liver failure. Took him home to be with him in his last days, brought him back for the final Moment. He walked in ripped hair out of my best friends arm injected him and walked out. Honestly for over a year now I have not been able to get the look of my cats eyes out of my head when he pulled his hair out right before the end. I will never go back and will suggest to every human that considers going.. to never go. I'll leave other stories for other people to tell. But after this with my kitty I have heard more and more when he Is brought up in conversation.

Our Westie has had skin infections (common with this breed). Dr. Crockett is easy to get in to see, very caring and professional, a great teacher for my wife and I, teaching us what to expect and how to care for Doogie, and reasonably priced (much better than our last vet). We are grateful for his excellent service and fair pricing!

Although Crockett treated our puppy for a bacterial bladder infection I’m super disappointed to say he let parvo slip. We brought our puppy in extremely dehydrated, unable to keep anything down, and just in very bad shape. He did everything except check for parvo. Essentially he gave us the option to do an exploratory surgery or put our 4 month old puppy down. We went to crestwood animal hospital where the first thing they did was check for parvo and we were able to immediately treat it. Had Crockett checked for parvo we could have been treating her 36 hours sooner. I am very disappointed and relieved that Crestwood Animal Hospital cares so much. Do not bring your babies to this establishment, we almost had to pay for a surgery not needed or say goodbye to our baby. Not worth the heartache.

Fantastic veterinarian and informative vet techs. They made it very easy to understand what was going on and were very clear about their direction of care. Will continue to go to this vet office, as it is kind of hidden so I didn't know it was even there. They took good care of my dog and I love that they listened to my concerns.

My cat, Blue, was acting very unusual and hiding in places she didn't want to be found. I called Crockett Veterinary Hospital, and they told me to bring her on in. After three days of excellent care, my sweet girl was ready to come home and snuggle again. I will never use another vet as long as I live in or around Louisville, Kentucky. Such wonderful people.

Dr. Crockett is more reasonably priced than a lot of other Vets in Louisville. We have had good experiences with our animals under his care.

I've been taking my pets here since the mid 90's. I have always had a great experience and full trust in Dr. Crockett in taking care of my dogs. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Terrible human and vet. Doesn’t care about animals, berates people for asking questions. Very poor track record with surgeries.

Dr. Crockett is the best. He's taken care of 5 of my cats over the last 25 years. He's reliable, caring, and accommodating. My babies are in good hands.

As a vet, I wonder about the level of compassion he feels towards his patients as he appears to have no compassion for POC.

Dr. Crockett has taken care of my wheaten terrier for over 11 years. He is always willing to take time with her and explain in detail her care to me. I couldn’t ask for a more caring and compassionate doctor. I also have had excellent service from his staff. They are always friendly and helpful.

Dr. Crockett has been our vet since the late 90's for all of our dogs. He's honest, fair and has never tried to upsell a service. He's a skilled surgeon (two sucessful ACL surgeries on two different dogs) and excellent at diagnosing any medical or behavioral issues. If you want an ethical, no nonsense veterinarian, Dr. Crockett is a great choice.

My stepson took his 6 year old dog for bladder stone surgery on Thursday March 28, 2019 to Dr. Crockett. Dr. Crockett said he would be able to go home on Saturday March 30, 2019. Called vet on Saturday and he said they need to keep him till Monday. No alarms went off but should have. Picked up dog on Monday April 2 and noticed he had lost a lot of weight. Dr. Crockett said to make sure he ate, but everything failed to get him to eat, he was suffering. After crying out in pain all Tuesday night April 3, 2019 he passed away that night. I am writing this review because I lent my Stepson $1908.00 that Dr. Crockett was charging for the surgery. The dog lived 4 days in pain before dying. I think the operation was botched but I can’t prove it. Anyone reading this post should take warning and find another vet even for routine service as it has been reported on other google reviews of dirty conditions, using dirty needles and even punching a dog in the face. Wish I had read Google reviews on Dr. Crockett before trusting the dog to his care. This is my opinion of Dr. Crockett.

We took our one year old dog to Dr. Crockett back two weeks ago concerned about a lump on our dogs front paw and an open cut on the back one. He reported the lump was common and that anti-biotics, pain meds, & Benadryl should help. We went back two weeks later not seeing any progress. He scheduled our dogs surgery for the next morning. Three hours after dropping him off, I received a call saying our dog woke up during surgery, began seizing, collapsed, & that they could not revive him. While at his office to pick up our dog, obviously very emotional and distraught, he began telling us he didn’t know the cause and told a story about his mother going in for surgery (not the time to disclose personal information). Our dog was so healthy and so young. He offered to do an Autopsy but we would not allow our dog to be cut open that way and certainly not in his hands. Please find a different vet and be sure to ask about how they practice using anesthesia. I regret not doing so before.
