Had such a great experience here! They were SO friendly and answered all of my questions. They told me everything they were going to look / treat for (general wellness check) and even went through the price breakdown before they took my cat back for her shots. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable they even showed me exactly how and where to give my cat her flea/tick medicine. Seriously can't recommend enough!

They are top notch here. My dog Zeus is very hard to deal with at the vets and the entire staff goes out of their way to try to make his visits as easy as possible. They truly care about your pets. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Can be a little pricy (at least to me but I'm cheap) but it is high quality, great service, and great people. I definitely recommend this place

They always take such good care of our kitties and our dog. Such friendly people and adorable little feline friends in the front. I highly recommend this place foe your fur babies.

My husband's best fur friend Luna had an open sore she kept licking causing infection and thankfully Breckenridge Animal Hospital aka Dr. Cobb took good care of her and has her on antibiotics and is recovering well I believe. Thank you for having an available appointment because no one else did locally until 2 weeks out.

They are amazing! Went over all the costs and exactly what I was paying for. Took amazing care of my kitten Eclipse, I’ll definitely always be bringing her here in the future.

My dog got attacked by another dog, his vet couldn’t fit him in so I called Breckenridge Animal Hospital and they graciously squeezed him in. We have been going here ever since for my dog’s needs. They fit him in the day I call and give him excellent care.

Would not see my dog because he can’t have a rabies shot. He had a reaction in the past. Not holistic at all. Very disappointed

The vets here have all been great. My issue is with some of the office staff. First and most troubling is my cat’s weight has not been recorded accurately in their system the last two times I was there. Weight is an indicator of health and must be recorded accurately. Second, I was charged nearly $400 today for what was supposed to be routine bloodwork. I stated when I made the appointment that I wanted bloodwork only, and I reiterated that when I arrived at the appointment. Upon arrival at the appointment, I agreed to one additional thyroid test in addition to the CBC I requested and was quoted that it would be around $300 total. When the receptionist called me to charge my card she quoted me an amount of nearly $400, so I asked her if the service only included the two bloodworks I had authorized and nothing in addition to that, and she stated yes. When I received my receipt however it showed that there was an exam charge in addition to the two bloodwork charges. I did not authorize an exam, nor did anyone discuss doing an exam. The office staff refused to remove the unauthorized charge and, with nasty and uncalled for attitudes, told me I would have to talk to the office manager on Monday. If they had simply admitted their mistake rather than doubling down and treating me horribly, I would probably have let it go, but I can’t see going back to this office again after the way I was treated. Hyperthyroid cats need to have bloodwork done several times a year between exams, and any vet office should be familiar with that, nor should they charge for services that were not discussed or authorized. I spend thousands of dollars every year keeping my pets healthy and was treated like I was a nuisance. Update: The Monday after, they told me they would refund the exam charge, and it was credited to my card nearly a week later. I still have not received an apology either for the overcharge or the way I was treated. I talked to the office manager who doesn’t care and has no intention of allowing employees to correct charges the same day they make a mistake, but they have free reign to do overcharges. Update two: Knocking off another star due to slander and still no apology. The office manager continually interrupted me when I tried to talk. I advised that employees should be able to correct mistakes the same day, and she stated she is not going to allow that, to which I responded she is a terrible manager if she will not allow that, which is a fact and not rude or irrational. Nor did I not “hang up” on her. I’ve never had such a bizarre response from a business. Shame on you. People trust you with their pets, and you’ve shown you do not deserve their trust. This place has gone to hades since Dr. Webb left. I will also add that when I was there in December and checking out, I advised the receptionist that a charge was missing and I was being undercharged. I waited while she took a few minutes to verify and correct the error, and then charge me the correct total, which was almost two hundred dollars more, at which I joked that I am honest, and I paid the correct higher amount. You’d think they would appreciate honest clients, but they’re going to lose them.

A friend of mine suggested this place to me. I was skeptical as I am of all doctors LOL. However I had no reason to be. All of the staff took great care of my sweet baby Xena. We will be back! Reasonable prices and very knowledgeable too:)

Grooming was excellent on our 2 dogs. My wife's favorite groomer transferred here from Anchorage Animal Hospital, and we followed her.

I have been coming to this clinic and been bringing my cats and puppy here for the last few years. My experience in the past had been great but today was the worst experience I have ever had at a vet clinic: (07/20/20) I dropped off my dog for teeth cleaning and nails trimming appointment which he was scheduled for. I was asked by the assistant to leave my Initials on the form in case they find an infected tooth that needs to be extracted. I was hoping if it was a tooth or two it will be okay and they will call me in any case. 3 hours later they called me and notified me that they had found infected teeth and ended up extracting his lower front incisors (6 teeth). I was shocked to hear that because I was never notified of how many teeth they were going to be extracting. My puppy did have plaque on his canines but his front teeth were actually clean especially his upper incisors and I never saw any problem with them. His lower front teeth did have some crowding so I thought okay, they might be mobile and needed to come out so I asked what my total was? I was told to wait for a call back. When I got a call back I was notified by the assistant that they had in fact, extracted 12 teeth in my puppy - all front incisors, upper and lower. I was livid when I heard that. And when I shared my concern with Beth, receptionist, instead of understanding and empathizing she responded in a snarky manner, "Call you in the middle of the surgery hmm that doesn't seem...." Yes, Beth you should have called the owner when Dr. Cobb was about to extract 12 teeth in a puppy who is barely 3 years old and had a cleaning done from you guys a little over a year ago regardless of being in the middle of the procedure or not. If I had not left my initials on the form you would have done exactly that. How about following the same protocol regardless of the owner's initials? Because all of this not only adds to the bill but also is something the owner would like to know before you guys perform big procedures like multiple extractions. My puppy was only there to get his teeth cleaned and now he's lost all his front teeth. He is 3 years old. To make matters worst, no pictures of the pre-cleaning, post-cleaning or periodontally involved teeth were given to me which was the case last time he got his cleaning done. The assistant told me their computer system was not working properly, hence, they were unable to take any pictures. Dr. Cobb extracted 12 teeth from my puppy and neither him nor the staff thought it would be something I as an owner would like to know beforehand. Sadly, my experience with Dr. Cobb has been the exact opposite to my experience with Dr. Webb when she was around. I just don't understand how a doctor and the entire staff can take my initials as a full on permission to do whatever the hell they wanted and only notified me when the procedure was all done. How can you guys perform procedures like these without any diagnostic evidence documented? I am appalled at this service and I regret putting my initials on that form. So if you're someone who is bringing your pet here please make sure you read the consent forms and please do not put your initials anywhere so if they want to find something to charge you for they will have to at least give you a courtesy call.

My husband made an appointment for our dog to have his nails trimmed (only!). Upon arrival, they blurred out a bunch of exams/screens our dogs needed, my husband said yes to one of them. And our final bill was almost $200, with charges on all those exams that my husband never said yes to. This isn't the first time this happened to us. Last time when our dog went in for his teeth cleaning. The vet said they will also go ahead and remove his skin tags (never said how much it will cost, in fact, they made it sounds like it's free). And of course in the end, it's another $200 on the bill. -Update: our client profile was not under my name if that's why you couldn't allocate the information. It's under my husband's name, with last name Cecil. Thank you.

Dr. Webb is a compassionate and friendly vet, who takes time to listen to the smallest of concerns. We are very satisfied with staff at Breckenridge Animal Hospital; they keep you informed of what they are doing. We would recommend having your pet treated here.

WOW, what a difference between vets!! Not naming my previous vet, but can't say enough GOOD about Breckenridge & Dr. Webb!!! I had been going to another local vet for almost 15 years & after losing my sweet girl in June, I knew it was time for a change. I did my homework & found Breckenridge. I have to say the reviews don't even do justice to the real deal. Not only is the service outstanding (response is immediate!!), but I really don't have enough words to explain Dr. Webb's abilities. We took our new Shar-Pei mix rescue in for a initial check up & she was spot on for his eye issues. We started with her recommended treatment & decided on Entropion surgery. Dr. Webb's skills are amazing & she is GREAT to communicate with (I am a HANDS on fur Mom!). Our boy is fully recovered & even the cost was reasonable, what more can a pet parent ask for??
